Very clean resort and central location with good breakfast and affordable rooms. Only downside (just in my opinion) is the location on the beach- so not against the hotel at all, but if you are looking for a more relaxing/surf vibe, try staying further south around one love bar area. This area was extremely crowded, lots of trash, people nonstop pushing you to buy things.
Otherwise, the hotel was great and the staff was extremely friendly.

We had a great stay, in a large and clean room, with a balcony. Located on the beach, and close to the main street with all the restaurants and shops, the place is really quite and confortable. We had a good breakfast every day on the beach, which was included in our rate.
The employee were very friendly.
The gym, in open air, is well occupied.
A small bad point was the slow internet.

It’s a pleasant spot which looks like a quality hotel. But the staff couldn’t be bothered to clean the sun beds by the pool, which were wet and dirty every morning, and there were no tables or umbrellas for the sun beds. After two days of enjoying breakfast on my balcony, I was suddenly informed that they could no longer bring food or coffee to the room, a full 30 metres from the restaurant. When I went down to the beach, the staff in the restaurant couldn’t even be bothered to bring menus over or ask if guests wanted drinks. Instead of room service there were Lipton teabags, instant coffee and paper cups next to a water machine in the lobby. And finally the Receptionist ‘couldn’t’ call a taxi for me to go to the airport, even though there were taxis parked on the street, which I eventually had to go and get myself and bring to the hotel. So the message is, if they can’t make money out of it, tough, they don’t care if you miss your flight. To summarise: nice rooms - for which they charge top dollar - but lazy staff who have no concept of customer service.

So disappointed. The Area a round the pool looks like a graveyard. No running water in the facility near the pool. The gym was not as in pictures. Bar staff was unfriendly! Location is good though but After one night we’re looking for another place to stay. And we payed for 5 nights.

We were in this resort for 5 nights, our room had a nice view on the Pool and sea. The room were clean and comfortable. The resort is situated near to the Center of lamai so You reach easily the Restaurants or markets.

But now to the Main PROBLEM Of this resort: the Staff is a disaster!!! They are unfriendly, they don't unterstand or speak english and the worst thing.. They will try to rip You off! We had the Same problem like other customers explained in their reviews: they found a little bit dirt on our bedsheets and wanted 1500B from us. We don't wanted to pay so we had a discussion for about 2 hours with the Staff Who doesn't understood anything. I Took the bedsheet to the bathroom and washed the dirt off. Then they found another little stain and wanted 1000B from us. For me the Whole scene was a Big Joke. We don't wanted to pay anything but our problem was that they had our Passports. After a certain while a Lot of hotel guests came and wanted to know whats happening. Everybody was shocked and stayed around us so the Staff was forced to back down. They said "300B and You can go!". We payed because we don't wanted to get in trouble with their Police Friends (like in the other review). Never ever again!! And if You already booked this resort:
Always check your bedsheets and never give them your Passports if You don't want to pay a big amount for nothing!

When we arrived we were first of all taken aback by the bleakness of the reception area. As our room wasn't ready we went to look around outside. I really thought that we were going through a service area but this was the way to the pool. The pool was a rectangle, surrounded by concrete with mattresses surrounding it. No umbrellas, no seats. The small beach area was very crowded with no shade available. On our return to reception a couple arrived. There was no room for them as the hotel was overbooked. Having decided at this juncture that we didn't want to stay here we gave these Russians our room and proceeded to look on the internet for somewhere to stay. I would say here that the receptionist was very helpful letting us use the computer and making a phone call for us. While we were doing this three more people arrived. Again no room, overbooked. Unfortunately one of these people started to shout and swear across the room at the receptionist. They should have been taken into a more private area by a man who I can only presume was the manager to discuss their problem. I used the public toilet which was unclean with paper strewn on the floor. All in all a place to avoid.

Almost on the beach, with a few private sunbeds on the sand, and yet a few steps away from the action. Apart from the fact it’s basically falling apart, this is quite a nice hotel. Breakfast etc available at the nearby beach bars.

Spent a few hours here. beach was lovely, although we went during the bank holiday so some of the bars and shops were closed. we walked from our hotel, which was some distance, not recommended if you are coming from the far end of the resort at the Grand Southsea resort.

The resort is in the best spot in Lamai. The rooms are reasonably clean and breakfast is basic bacon and eggs. The part I will remember is the girls on reception they are very helpful, and always wished us good morning and good night. It is very central to Main Street the night markets and the famous Sunday markets.
