This was the second time I had stayed at Thai Ayodhya, and it was as good as the first. The resort is located a little out of Lamai tonw, far enough away to be quiet, peaceful and to avoid the hubbub of the town itself, yet near enough to allow easy access to its shops, restaurants and nightlife. It is...

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are big, clean, and comfortable. However, the management does not like the guests pleasure. Few examples: only bath towels (no hand and face). Only cooffee (no tea) and when we asked for tea they reacted unfriendly. The rooms that are offered through booking.com are only the rooms that are far from the beach but...

We got a huge room well cleaned and serviced. The staff is very helpful and cheerful. The location is very handy but not extremely close to the main street of Lamai (10 min walk). We really enjoyed the place it offers a great experience but it is not a luxury place. Definitely recommended.

Initially booking 3 nights we ended up staying for 6. We stayed in one of the garden villas which had a large living room with a tv and fridge, a good sized bedroom with a king sized bed and safe and a huge bathroom with both shower and bath. The room was spotless and was cleaned no matter what time...

We stayed in thai style buildings in the beautiful garden. It was the family suite - very spacious and comfortable with many rooms. This is a great hotel for families with young children. The beach is very nice and laid back.

The villas are quite spacious. One livingroom with small tv and fridge and one bedroom. Big and cleen bathroom. After the villas there are four storey hotel....

The location right at the beach can't be beat, Walking to Lamai center was too far for us with three kids but the cabs and tuk-tuks are cheap. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel was very clean and well kept. We had huge rooms and the garden was just wonderful! The breakfast was ok, not so...

Our family spent ten days here and we would recommend this place.Location is great,a short walk to all the amenities of lamai and an even shorter walk to the beach.Like other reviewers we didnt rate the breakfast,a big let down.Hopefully they can sort this out.Overall though a lovely place to stay.

The rooms are large clean and spacious, basic and well kept. The resort is nicely designed with large trees for shade, well kept lawns, garden and pool. Staying here feels peaceful, and easy. There are mainly European middle aged couples &a few kids. So it would probably feel a bit isolated for single travellers. The staff don't speak much English,...

I stayed here last week for 2 weeks, great place... The service was a little hit and miss but that's comparing to that of a 5 star... Setting is priceless, staff are very friendly but could be a little more confident in speaking to guests (this is just me picking holes) I would certainly stay here again and would highly...

Near the Resort, there are waterfalls, ancient Wats, a butterfly farm and much more. There is no shortage of sights, both historical and natural. On the east coast of the island, Chaweng Beach is where backpackers flock for the full moon parties and frantic nightlife. But Thai Villas Resort is a world apart from that. Indeed, Thai Villas Resort & Spa has drastically altered the island's image. Koh Samui is fast becoming a celebrity locale for those in pursuit of elegant lifestyles. ... more   less
