Nestled alongside an elegant family of boulders, the CoconutsPalm Restaurant sits snugly with its modern design of blended shades of white and grey, and over half-a-dozen spacious tables for groups of four. Wooden chairs with soft-cushioned seating provide the comfort necessary for proper (and well-deserved) relaxation. The fresh fruits and flowers decor and lush plants surrounding the restaurant serve as a reminder to guests that they are firmly in the tropics. The long, cream-colored curtains draped from the ceiling provide protection from any excessive sun or wind. Tasteful golden trimmings abound--the golden statues are of particular note, contrasting beautifully against the glow of an electric-blue light at the bar come evening. A wide flat-screen TV is convenient for those who choose to watch while at the bar. Amply comfortable, and with a full-panorama view of the resort’s extensive pool, it’s easy to feel cozy and refreshed here, cocktail in hand.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

CoconatsPalm Resort is a very nice place with a lovely people that can make your vacation unforgettable. Quiet and beautiful territory, clean and green. Very helpful staff. You can order FB or just a breakfast, bike and many different activities on the reception. Have private parking. Also hotel has cozy restaurant. Comfortable bungalows are very clean! I mean very clean :-) Beautiful and lovely atmosphere inside. (I'm also liked that bed sheets have some threads in the corner , when the bed is covered, it is clear where the feet are, and where the face). Near 7-Eleven, some restaurants. We have a bike,so distance is not matter to us. Before our staying in the hotel we lived on Samui for two months and wanted to change location,so first we decided to stay in CoconatsPalm for 10days first. We love this place and want to stay 10 days more but unfortunately due to COVID-19 and canseled flight need to buy a new ticket and fly home earlier . But we can't wait to our next visit and definitely will come back!

The hotel is a little bit away from Lamai center but on motor bike it is maybe ten minutes from Lamai center. It is clean and hotel calm hotel with friendly staff. It consists of several small twin houses with terrace. There is a swimming pool and restaurant near the reception. Rooms are equipped with all devices you standardly need on your holiday - refrigerator, air condition, hair dryer, TV, bar. Things which annoyed me there were that (my room 26) I heard always noise from refrigerator, air condition and some generator next to my bathroom. You could turn off the first two devices but the generator was making noise all the time. The worst it was in the night time. The second negative thing was the wall between twin houses because either you could hear a noise from the next room or the opposite. Maybe some type of isolation could make it better. Overall I think that it good price for what you receive and I would return there next time.

Nice rooms lovely surroundings. A little far out if you don’t have transport. Only criticism is the bar should have stayed open a little longer in the evening. Maybe a buffet style breakfast instead of ordering then waiting for it to be cooked.

Room is nice and pool is good. Luggage was quickly brought to our room when we arrive. The room is pretty cozy and we really enjoy the pool water temperature. However, bed is not nice. It is slanted at the sides so we kept rolling to the middle of the bed. The reception at first seems nice but was not too helpful. We asked for towel when we checked in and did not receive it until we went to reception again at night. On the 2nd day, She was just too focused on selling us the hotel's transportation (rental car) rather than catering to our need. We used navigo (which was much more reasonable price) and she misled us saying that it was one day rental car- which it was not. We lost the trust and felt thay it was quite useless to ask her anything. Breakfast is not buffet but pretty nice options and enjoyable.

Just finishing our stay at coconutspalm resort, it has been fantastic. The resort is about 5 mins drive from the action on lamai beach, this for us was a good thing. So much quieter, especially as the resort is 200m off the busy main road. The room, we opted for the premium bungalow, lovely and spacious, exceptionally clean, with a sofa and huge bed. Only suggestion if give is a ceiling fan would have been lovely above the bed. The pool was lovely, surrounding by comfortable sun loungers and day beds. Restaurant and Bar, food was always really good. They have giant pizza ovens (Pizzas are amazing). Nice selection of Thai food as well. One night they did a Thai buffet and it was immense and very reasonable! Cocktails are the best I've had in Lamai, they are a touch pricey, but also massive so it evens the cost out (Go for the coconutspalm magic) Best thing about the resort is the staff and management. Jerry and Fred couldn't of made us feel more welcome, and all of there staff are so happy and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble! Having been to Thailand a few times, this is definitely up there with the best we have ever stayed at! See you soon Mark and Katie

Set back about 200m from the main road this is a nice quiet hotel with nice bungalow style rooms (with everything working just as it should)... For me I'm the kind of traveler who prefers to eat out and wandered about a bit so be aware alternative bars/restaurants are all a short walk away (between a few mins and 10mins away) I'd stay again in a heartbeat

We stayed at Coconutspalm resort in early January 2020 for four nights and really enjoyed our stay. The staff are friendly, the rooms are fantastic, the grounds are lovely and well kept, the pool is good and the food is good, what more can you ask for ? The only thing is that the property is a little out of the way, and there are very few restaurants and shops around, and unfortunately no nice beach areas within walking distance, but if you are prepared to hire a scooter or rent a car ( we rented a car for a day and it was cheap and well worth it) you can still get to the action when you want too. Highly recommend this resort, thanks to all at Coconutspalm
