We didn't have much choice when booking this as our Greek friends were getting married in this village. The rooms were clean but very small and the bathroom had a shower that soaked everything - lets just say it took me back! The location is good - right on the beach, although, not a great beach - very rough shingle and rocky but the sea was lovely for swimming. We booked breakfast which was adequate, the surrounding tavernas were great for food but even after much persistence in trying to like it, the wine in every one of them was "challenging" to say the least!!!! If you are prepared for this type of holiday and have a good sense of humour then you will have a great time.

Another hotel in the area was suggested to us but looking it up on the I/N I fell on Posidonia. Thank God! We could not have been luckier. It stands right on the beach but the main building is sourrounded by green, flowers and trees. The owner pationately tends them and it is gorgious to sit it the balcony in the evening and enjoy the smell of the plants. Absolutely quiet as it is quite far from traffic. Actually there is no traffic except for cars of vacationers of this and the other small hotels of the area. What is amazing about this hotel is the love of detail. Every possible facility for the guest has been thought of. The rooms are quite spacious, with very comfortable bathrooms. Wi-fi all over, free and strong. Lovely buffet breakfast in the dining room or on the porch. (By the way, breakfast is not included in the original price; you have to tell them upon reserving, and there is a very small extra charge). A wonderful beach is a few paces away, so close that waves will lull you at night. A very good beach taverna a few meters from the hotel, for greek cuisine after your swim. Own parking. But the main thing is the attention one gets from the owners, Silvestros and Ioanna. They are always around, their eye catching anything you might be wanting. Cleanliness is top, bedsheets every other day, towels everyday. I really cannot say more than that I will try to go there every summer, even if only for a few days.

Excellent in every sense. in the beach.family attention great people. Very warm people , really excellent location , in the ocean. They did not had a working landline the morning we were leaving the hotel and the owner , said. This is our problem you are free to go¡¡¡ and she did not make any gestures or anything so we went off, and paid them later. AMAZING people... I would not write this for anybody and waste my time anymore.

We were at Posidonia Pension in July 2014 with our 4 yr daughter. The first impression were our hosts - Mrs Joanne is always smiled and always ready to help, Mr Silvestros too (he is very good wine connoisseur :-) ). Breakfast was good and it has all we needed. Studio was very clean, with sea view. There is beautiful shadowed patio with seating area so you can drink coffee/juice/... in very relaxing environment in the morning or afternoon. Also their own beach with free umbrellas and sunbeds is ideal for kids. But I have to repeat - we really felt very welcomed and we had the best possible hospitality at every our step.

Posidonia Pension , is a quiet small pension , in front of a lovely beach ! The place is romantic , clean with a great hospitality !! The owner Mrs Jhoanna make us feel wellcoming and feel like home! A fantastic place to relax with the sound of waves! Choose the 1st floor for better view and calme . Rooms are clean and well turned out .There are not luxury but there are very charming ! Ideal place for families with small children !!! We suggest the pension without a doubt And we propose to visit the place May, June or September if you prefer to enjoy quiet!

A simple yet spacious, clean room nicely air conditioned, with ample space to move around and great sea or mountain views. Immaculately clean though bathroom was not to our taste.. Owner and his wife did their best to make us feel at home. Just a few metres from a clean sandy beach. Nice breakfast with lots of coffee. Highly recommended not only because of its convenient location (one hour + from Athens using the ferry from Oropos to Eretria at a cost of 2euros per passenger and 10 euros for the car each way) but also for the owner and his wife who were ever so helpful and willing. Highly recommended for a simple, quiet stay next to a lovely beach.

Room Tip: if available, better choose a room with a sea view. Otherwise the mountain view is equally pleasant.
