A beachfront hotel of modern white design, with magnificent views of the Aegean Sea, surrounded with fabulous green gardens. An ideal place to enjoy the sun and the scents of the Greek islands! Located on the southeast coast of the island of Kos and next to the renowned for its crystal clear waters Agios Fokas beach, the hotel is just 7kms away from Kos town, the harbour and the Marina and 32kms away from Kos International Airport (KGS). One of the very first hotels to have been built in Kos back in 1970, Dimitra Beach Hotel & Suites has recently undergone extensive renovation in all of its public areas and rooms (2015-2019). With its private beach, amazing sea views from all public areas and most of the rooms, bungalows next to the sea, pools and terraces, the hotel is an earthly paradise with verdant gardens, colourful plants and all shades of blue of the sea and the sky! Ideal for couples and families, we are proud and pleased to welcome many repeater guests every year and offer them a pleasant stay in a friendly atmosphere.

We had a lovely holiday at the Dimitri Beach Hotel, we were only there for 7 nights but it was very relaxing. Although a lot of walking involved to get from the reception to our apartment and up hill! Not advisable for someone who struggles with their knees. The apartment worked well for us though as 2 adults in one room and teenage daughter in another, so we both had our privacy but shared balcony. We had a perfect view every morning that you just couldn't complain about even when it was cloudy on of the days. The main restaurant in the hotel was extremely busy and a bit off putting but I guess can't expect any different with a large hotel. Although we did prefer to go to the smaller restaurants, especially for lunch, but they need a bigger variety of ice creams! Some of the public areas needed freshening up but overall the place was very clean and tidy, there was always ladies cleaning the outside areas very thoroughly in the early hours of the morning. Entertainment was a bit hit and miss, but overall could not complain about that. The beach looked so pretty but not a fan of the stones, sand would be my preference but not everyones. Very easy to catch a bus into Kos town, just outside and very regular, definitely worth doing. I would certainly recommend but just be prepared for the size of the place. Tried uploading photos but didn't seem to want to!

Hotel's Favourite
It was our first time staying at Dimitra and certainly won’t be our last… this place now holds such a special place in mine and my fiancés hearts! We’ve both stayed at numerous tui sensima (now tui blue ) all inclusive hotels and although this isn’t a tui blue the level of service that you receive from the staff at Dimitra is the same if not another level. No request or question is ever too much for them and they will always go out their way to ensure your experience is fulfilled. One man in particular George exceptionally excels at making this so and if you haven’t met him before then you must make sure you do before you leave. George the main restaurant Maitre D’ is a credit to the hotel and will go that extra step to make sure your stay is relaxed, special and fun. He played a huge part in helping me plan my engagement proposal to my now fiancé, making the whole process run so smoothly and in such a truly romantic way with the help of one of his top waitresses Tereza who helped with the preparations of setting the table on the beach and ensuring candles were lit, taking photos of the whole experience. The food and the drinks that are on offer at the main restaurant buffet offer a great variety and are changed daily. As well as having the option to visit the al la carte Greek and Italian restaurants. A few members of staff stood out to us and offered amazing service: Stelios, George Dogras and Tereza. Lastly the cleaning staff do not stop working ! They literally clean all day from the crack of dawn and into the evening. The hotel was immaculate. There was a great selection of pool areas, seating areas or access to the private beach. There was always space and wasn’t too crowded. There is a bus stop outside the hotel which took you into Kos and only took around 15minutes. The hotel itself is in a quiet location which we preferred. Overall, a superb holiday and very good weather for the end of September into October 2022. If you get a chance you must do the volcano excursion that tui offer. A very busy day but you visit some beautiful towns.

A great hotel, with really great friendly and amazing staff. A good choice of food at the main restaurant with a variety of opening hours. However, the advertised late evening snack availability was very poor. I arrived at 22.30 hrs and was so hungry but all there was avaliable was cold rice and left over salad. The hotel was really clean and spotlessly maintained. Beautiful surroundings with loads of choice for relaxing set on multiple levels accessed by lots of steps...a good cardio workout. Loved the goats, cats and birds. Pools and bars were great, however the adult only areas x1 were always full, despite the fact it was last week of the season while other areas were alot quieter because they were deemed as kids area x3. The website booking did not accurately reflect the room booked ...it showed the pictures of the suites. The beach was not great in respect that it was hard pebbles and unsteady seabed.

Fabulous hotel and staff !!! We stayed for the last week of the season everything was spotlessly clean and the staff so attentive, would definitely recommend staying here .The view from our room 206 was perfect, the beach is very stoney advisable to wear rubber shoes for going into the sea ,which was so warm and clear.Nothing to dislike about the hotel at all food was very good and varied. Maybe erect a small pier into the sea and have kayaks for hire .

One of the best All inclusive hotels we have been to as a family, if not the best. Food is amazing, the staff totally make the hotel from the cleaners up to the manager. George keeps the main restaurant at a high level of service and is a real character about the hotel. Christos at the pool bar was brilliant and we wish him luck with his future. To make the hotel unbelievably good, I would suggest the 2 sister hotels build a couple of pontoons or piers into the sea to make access much easier, as other hotels have done. Fantastic stay we would highly recommend this hotel.

This was a truly 5* experience. We really enjoyed great spacious rooms in our suite. We also loved High quality toiletries and our housekeeping lady was amazing, every day fresh sheets and rooms was sparkles. All the staff, including George who’s responsible for all restaurants- were so nice. Service we got was above and beyond- we couldn’t have been happier. We travelled with our 2.5 old daughter and we were really looked after. Food was lovely, people were so attentive and we got nice upgrade for our birthday. Place is well maintained, pools are great, loads of choice between beach, pools and kids places to play. Aside from beautiful facilities it’s kind people above all that make your stay incredible. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back! Thank you George and everyone else for making our stay exceptional!

Just returned from a fantastic 7 night stay at Dimitra Beach. We were made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived at the hotel which was around midnight, the night manager George was friendly & informative – there were snacks at reception for us (fruit & baguettes) and he advised the bar was still open if we wanted a drink! We were taken to our room in a golf buggy so didn’t have to trek with our luggage which at that time of night after a long journey was much appreciated. We had booked a deluxe 2-bedroom suite with a sea view which did not disappoint. Our room overlooked the top pool with a fantastic sea view – lovely to watch the sunrise from the balcony. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. The 2 bedrooms had a connecting balcony, each had its own en-suite. There was a pod coffee machine small mini fridge which was stocked daily with cans and water. The air conditioning worked really well and each room could be set independently. Beds were very comfortable and walk in shower spacious. Food We booked at All Inclusive package and there was lots of choices for food. Breakfast was available at both the main restaurant and Altai by the spa pool, the main restaurant offered slightly more choice, but both had a choice of cereals, yogurts, fruit, cooked breakfast, omelettes made to order, meats & cheese selection of bread and plenty of breakfast cakes and pastries. Coffee or Tea served by the staff who had a keen eye and kept your cup topped up! Lunch – again available at both restaurants as above with a good choice of both hot and cold food, soup, salads, fish, meat, vegetables, pasta, chips, desserts, fruit and ice creams. A selection of snacks were also available throughout the day at the main pool areas including wraps, cakes, fruit and ice cream. Dinner in the main restaurant was buffet style, as per lunch but along with show cooking. Late night snacks were available in the main restaurant and included soups, breads, meats & cheese. We were entitled to a visit to each of the A La Carte restaurants Greek & Italian – both of which were good, food great and staff friendly and attentive – a nice change from the buffet style food in the main restaurant. Staff The staff were mostly friendly and welcoming. George the Maitre D in the main restaurant gave everyone a warm welcome and ensured a smooth running of the restaurant over breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool bar staff were brilliant, the pool side service from Christos at the spa pool was a real treat! Staff at the main bar were not as welcoming as some, however the evening waiting bar team serving drinks we always smiling. The cleaning staff and grounds team were all up at the crack of dawn tending to the public areas, keeping them clean and tidy. Pool areas were mopped evening and morning and the pool cleaned each morning. Sunbeds were disinfected. Bedrooms were cleaned and made up daily, and staff were always happy and chatty every morning. Drinks – we had no complaints on drinks from tea/coffee/soft drinks/beer/wine/spirits & cocktails. Some cocktails were made from a pre mix but others made from scratch so I tended to stick with those! Private beach had an abundance of sunbeds, sea was warm and very clear but defiantly recommend the beach shoes given the beach was rocky. Overall a great, relaxing week. We didn’t have any problems getting a sun bed or seat in the restaurant although can imagine in the height of summer this may be busier. There are lots of steps around the complex so not great for anyone with mobility problems. The various accommodation types suits all needs. Lots of nice quiet spots for relaxing and enjoying the view of the Aegean Sea! Would recommend and will definitely return
