It was great from the start, when I arrived very early in the morning before 8:00 am, I immediately could check in, received breakfast and lunch as well as welcome treatments the same day without surcharge. The superb facility is beautifully located at a lovely beach, staff is super-friendly and attentive, and the therapists extremely professional, all communicating excellently in English and/or German. This was my first Ayurveda treatment at Heritance, but surely not my last.

This was my first experience of Ayurveda. I booked directly with the hotel and received very prompt responses to any queries I had. I stayed for a week, in a very nice suite with a lovely sea view. All the staff are fantastic, from the guard at the gate, to the reception staff, the waiting staff, the people who service the rooms and of course the Ayurveda Centre staff. It’s a very peaceful place to stay. The pool area is lovely, the grounds are lush and it’s right beside the beach with soft golden sands. It’s also a short tuk tuk ride from a main train station on the Colombo to Galle line, which is handy if you don’t have your own transport and want to venture out to explore. I was a little disappointed with the food. Every meal is a buffet and I found it rather bland - although I do appreciate that the focus is on healthy eating not gourmet style!

We an Authentic Ayurveda Resort who offers Ayurveda at it's most traditional method, in Ayurveda, oils plays a major role and it can not be altered. If we do so, it will be cheating our customers who has patronized us for decades. How ever, we do take extreme care for guests with skin allergies for oils. We value your comments on prescribed medicine being much more elaborated when prescribing. We will follow this idea of yours. Our food culture is strongly blended with the needs of Ayurveda. In order to achieve our goals of well being in Ayurveda, we really have to pay much attention to what we offer to our clients. In these times of covid, this hotel was perfectly organized with everything from the arrival, the stay and the departure. I felt safe at any given time. The PCR test took place as planned and everybody acted according to the covid rules. I felt very welcome by Dr Mrs Yashithita and her amazing team of therapists. All treatments were done with great expertise and with a lot of engagement and knowledge. The food was utterly delicious and beautifully presented. The Yoga classes with Mapa were just out of this world. The resort itself a beautiful, calm and peaceful place. It could not have been any better.

Wonderful place to do Ayurveda and relax. Great Treatments, very nice staff, very good and healthy food.
You have a great view to the sea from all rooms, We spent 2 weeks during Corona times, but there were only few limitations, so we could enjoy our stay very much.

My sincere thanks to Management & staff who truly made my stay a memorable one. From the day I arrived to my check out the staff never faulted their services. I have been to other Auyveda treatment place but the treatment care and cleanness of the entire clinic I found very appealing. The surrounding beauty also contributed to my comforts after the daily treatments. The location of the Resort is stunning and a short distance from the ocean which I found stimulating The food was a bit of a challenge but I must confess the freshly prepared food helped with the detoxification which was why I was there in the first place, so kudos to the chefs who put the meals together and always had a big variety to choose from. If given an opportunity to repeat the holiday, most definitely albeit I would book for a longer period

Our time at Heritance Ayurveda was a very wholesome experience. The treatments and the yoga sessions were wonderful - we felt very relaxed in no time. The food was delicious and we looked forward to every single meal!

I stayed in Heritance from the end of September until the 20th October and had a fabulous time. Everybody is so helpfull an friendly and they all treat you with kindness and care. Because of the healthy and delicious food together with the nice and good treatments from the whole team in the treatment center (team Maduka, Ishara) and “my own”😜doctor (Anupama) I lost a lot of weight and returned home fit and in good shape. I stayed there for a week and became friends with the staff, who became almost exclusive to me. There are staff who can speak Japanese, and everyone is very kind. It was a wonderful experience to do yoga while listening to the sounds of birds and waves.

Had a fantastic stay and treatment at this great hotel. Treatments were well organised, ran to time and the food was also good. The staff were excellent with particular thanks to lucky in the restaurant and Sumudu in the room preparation team. Everybody was great but they really enhanced the stay. The hotel location is excellent on a fantastic and largely empty beach. Will be back

Despite of "corona" my 2 weeks were excellent as my before stays in 2019 and 2020. Still the perfect mix of a paradise place and perfect Ayurveda treatments. Service excellent, food excellent, excellent Ayurveda doctors/treatments, great architecture, beautiful beach, great yoga twice a day. Conona-Limitations were dealt with perfectly! We regret to inform that we are not in a position to conduct classes for guest who do not stay with us;
Sorry this is not possible if the clients are not staying with us.
However, we conduct a cookery demonstration on Sunday evenings only for our residents.
