Visited here when staying at Santas village. Tour of snow hotel and evening meal in ice restaurant. Lovely venue to visit, nice food, interesting art work. However, very very pleased we did not book to stay here in the igloo as there is constant traffic driving around the accommodation dropping visitors off at the snow hotel. Igloos are close together.

Hotel's Favourite
We got the arctic hotel bus from outside snowman world in Scv. It was a bit expensive but cheaper than a taxi. €20pp each way. The bus driver lovely and helpful. We checked in with ease. Waited only 5 minutes for a guide to show us around and where things were located. Got a full tour in and out. We were shown where the toilet, changing and warm area inside the ice hotel along with how to use our sleeping bags. We were then left to explore and have fun till bedtime. There’s so much to do and see. We explored the lake and had fun sledging. We went into every room in the hotel which was an experience. This truly is amazing. The art is phenomenal. We had a drink in the ice bar. We would have gone again but got the times wrong. The mixologist was great and informative. My partner now loves Riki which he got served. We relocated to the ice bar with hope we could see the Aurora. Unfortunately not. However the ice bar was lovely and relaxing. Our dinner wasn’t until 9… so had a good few drinks. Dinner was fabulous. Started with carrot soup. I’ll try to recreate at home. Served with lovely bread. Main my partner had mash with reindeer and I had bbq salmon. The salmon was delicious as was the reindeer. Dessert was a blueberry sponge. Our night in the ice room was such an awesome experience. We stored our backpacks in our lockers and took essential things to our room, we were able to charge our phones. Personally I didn’t use the fleece witching the sleeping bag. So only used the sleeping bag. Which was fine for me, we slept in base layers and a hat, Rooms so quiet and lovely. Got woken up at 7.30 with warm blueberry juice. Changed in the warm cabin. Breakfast was fabulous and tasty. Plenty of options hot and cold. Next time we will stay in the igloos. This is a must experience. The staff also make it special. Thanks so much. X

The Hotel and the Igloos are super unique and we felt very welcome and comfortable during our stay. But: We would recommend everyone not to book the package Santa Claus Villag, as the price does not justify the benefits. We paid around €272.00 for 2 people: Admission to Santa Claus Village: free Admission to Snowman World (as we have now learnt from you): free for overnight guests Huskey Tour: €45.00 per person according to the price list at Huskey Park Lunch at Santamus: €29.00 per person Transport Arctic Snowhotel <-> Santa Claus Village 20,00 € per tour / per person = 228,00 € Totally overpriced. Also if you for example don‘t want to each a 3 Course Dinner for Lunch. It is not needed Also our snowshoe excursion was over priced for just 1,5 km.

We took the tour and dinning at the Ice Restaurant. I have to say it exceeded my expectations! The place is wonderful, the food was delicious and the kindness and attention from the staff is excellent! I recommended fully and it's a once in a lifetime opportunity.

We opted for the hotel tour of the ice hotel + dinner in the ice restaurant. The hotel is incredible: every room has a different style with arts built with snow and ice, the kids - and parents - were in awe as we entered each room and walked around the premises. The dinner was delicious - I recommend the Elk among all dishes available, the Salmon did disappoint a bit - although of course very cold, but that's part of the experience! Since we drove to the hotel, we took time after the dinner to play in the snow and slide with the many sledding provided and took our chance to see the norther lights from the skybar upper deck. The entire family loved every minute.

We had one night in the Ice Hotel and one night in a glass igloo. The hotel staff are amazing and explained everything to us regarding our stay. So glad we got to stay in the Ice Hotel, it is amazing, the attention to detail in every room is incredible. To be fair we didn’t get much sleep but for one night it was worth the experience. The meal in the Ice Restaurant was excellent, the food was hot and very tasty, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The glass igloos are warm and comfortable, there isn’t a lot of space in the igloo but it didn’t bother us for one night. Breakfast is served in the Log Restaurant and there are plenty of hot and cold items to choose from. We also had an evening meal in the Kota restaurant which was also very good, my only comment would be that they wait until all guests are seated before stating the meal service and when some guests rudely arrive late everyone has to wait for them. We also had the Snow Sauna experience which was excellent and I would highly recommend to try it. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay here.

My fiancé and I have just returned from a wonderful stay here. The snow hotel is a must visit, we stayed here for one night and the artwork and attention to detail in every single room is incredible, what a wonderful experience! We spent plenty of time looking around all the rooms and had fun in the ice bar. We then stayed In the glass igloo which was lovely and warm and cosy. Very clean. We didn't do too many excursions as we were fortunate enough to have visited Finland the previous year and had done quite alot, but we enjoyed the snow shoeing trip, aswell as the private ice sauna and jacuzzi, we went on some beautiful snowy walks on the frozen lake, had fun on ice, tubing ,and skating, and enjoyed feeding the reindeer on site also. There are plenty of activities to book up. Breakfast was plentiful, lunch at Kota was lovely. Staff friendly and helpful, we didn't want to come home. We even got to see the northern lights on our last night ,thanks to the aurora alarm in the igloo alerting us

We liked the Glass Igloo than t Ice hotel. We ended up sleeping in the Locker room on the night of the Ice hotel , first is the cold and second , thicker mattress maybe more comfortable. 🥶 Overall, the breakfast is good , we enjoyed the activities around the place offered. We enjoyed Kota grill better than the Ice Restaurant due to cold food when served. Lastly , special thanks to the lady at the reception for the effort in helping us on our missed tour.
