The hotel is spotlessly clean. The bed was up some dangerously steep steps and was very hard so I slept mostly on the sofa but the room was Lovely. There unfortunately was no atmosphere and I think they are missing a trick. The food was not very good so we had to keep going out to eat, it would have been nice to have stayed at the hotel in the evening with nice food and entertainment but alas. We were relieved we only booked bed and breakfast. It is in a good position for getting around the island. Despite the food etc its a good base. If you are not good at planning they will organise things for you at a cost, you can probably do these things cheaper yourself but it was convenient for us. Lovely island.

We stayed at this magnificient hotel in October 2023. From the minute we walked through the doors, the it was magnificent. This is definately a 10 STAR hotel out of 5 Stars. We were welcomed by the owner immediately. One of the best hotel we have stayed at and we are world travellers. They went out of their way from the welcome to the hotel until our departure. The rooms are breathtaking, excellent staff, amazing food in the restaurant and even their own wine was amazing. The entire place was very classy, very clean and the service especially from the owner was exceptional. We are planning a return trip and will definately stay here again. Thanks for the beautiful service and kindness. Highly Higlhy recommend this hotel. You will be 100 percent satisified~~~~~~~ Cheers Jackie North Bay, Ontario, Canada

i stayed at this hotel on my 4day trip to santorini greece and I couldn’t possibly love it more. The hotel was squeaky clean down to the last detail which I really appreciate in a hotel. Me and my partner really loved our room and the amenities of it. Needless to say how friendly the environment and the staff is not only to us but also to our doggie🐾 the location is pretty convenient and once we got our rental everything was accessible. I’ve been to greece before but this time me and my partner really got to enjoy yummy food in the hotel. Usually we only eat out bc of bad hotel experiences but this one is so worth trying. We’re definitely looking forward in coming back!!

My partner booked this hotel for our week long stay with our 3month old baby. The booking was made for a couple plus a baby, and the booking confirmation clearly states that our baby stays for free. When I emailed the hotel to request the cot bed for the room I was told it was €210 (usually €290 apparently but discounted for me) for the week for the cot bed, in CASH payable at check in. We didn't pay and made other plans for our baby's sleeping arrangements. Our booking was for the tradition suite, where the bed was upstairs. The ceilings are low and dome shaped (we are both tall and both bumped our heads several times), the beds were small (standard double bed and not the large double bed as stated on the booking confirmation) but most disappointingly the mattresses were very firm and not at all comfortable. We placed the spare blankets on the mattress in an effort to make it more comfortable. In summary we had a better sleep on the beach chairs than we did in the bed. I was very happy to get home to my own bed. Breakfast was very average. There was fresh tomatoes and feta but no fresh fruit, just tinned peaches and no variety, the breakfast was the same each morning. The positives? The hotel was very clean and very well maintained. The location was great once you had a rental car. It had so potential to be a fabulous hotel but unfortunately I would have to say I wouldn't stay here again. The location was great but I would look to another hotel in that area.

Lovely clean room with fresh towels every two days. Breakfast good continental. No fresh fruit. Pool unfortunately not heated but I guess in summer that wouldn’t be so noticeable as it is now in October. The gardens and outside areas are beautifully kept and the owner is very helpful with tours. Safe is not in room but available at reception for extra charge. Good air con!

We had an amazing time staying at this hotel with our lovely host Kostas and his team. The hotel is impeccably clean, the beds are very comfortable and the rooms have air conditioning, there is also an onsite restaurant and swimming pool. This part of Santorini is quiet but very near two beaches. The Caldera beach is just a short walk away across the road with a taverna that has amazing views of the island, then you can also walk through Akrotiri to a second beach on the other side of the island. Breakfast was great, lots of different selections and I really recommend the spanakopita are delicious and as much coffee as you want. A big shout out to the room cleaners who do an amazing job. Every member of Kostas's staff is friendly and greet you with a smile and a "kalimera" everyday. If you want a holiday away from crowds, but just 20mins from the capital and €1.80 on the bus, this place is for you. Akrotiri village is just a 5 minute walk away with traditional Greek tavernas that are so much cheaper than Fira. A supermarket for all your basic supplies is literally next door. We had an absolutely wonderful time I thoroughly recommend this little piece of paradise for singles or couples.

Room 39 for 1 week in October. We loved every minute. The cleanest hotel you will find. Kostas was a great help and source of information. He tries to help make sure you don’t miss anything by mistake, but there is no pressure at all. Perfect professional and friendly service. Our room was amazing. Worth paying for the best room available if you can. We have taken a piece of Santorini, Akrotiri and Mathias Village back in our hearts with us. Thank you to every member of staff 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Jonathan & Nyree Yorkshire England

This family owned and run hotel in Akrotiri was the perfect starting spot for us. Away from the more tourist crowded places on the island, it was the perfect little haven. The owner/manager, Kostas, is a bit push as far as upselling tours and such, but knowledgable and kind. You just have to tell him, 'no.' The onsite restaurant is outstanding and very reasonably priced. We had swordfish one night and dorado (mahi mahi) another - both fantastic. The breakfast buffet is also great and we had the best feta cheese of our entire trip at that buffet - in fact we are still talking about it. Our room overlooked the pool with a distant view of the ocean. It was two stories, with a bed in the loft and a sofa bed below - the only problem is that the sofa bed pulled out to bunk beds and they insisted that it had to be opened as beds all the time, which rather cramped the room on the lower level. We did our best to convince Kosas to close it up and he argued vehemently that that was not possible, It had to be either open or closed. He did offer us a different room, with twin beds (we were two single women traveling tougher so needed separate beds), but the other room had no view and felt very cramped. In retrospect, I wish we would have reserved a different type of room. Also, I got some kind of bug bite while there, which took several days to calm down. But I would recommend this hotel for many reasons, including its affordability and location. Just take care with the type of room you reserve. Happy trails.
