Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

his is a great find. A lovely hotel and superb restaurant. The rooms have everything you need from lovely comfortable beds to nice quite nights sleeps. The hotel is laid out very well and gives you a great amount of privacy. The staff are very welcoming but will also leave you to your own devices. The food in the restaurant is superb and very reasonably priced in comparison to other local restaurants. Has a lovely pool and the surrounding areas beautiful. It’s a 3 star hotel and in my opinion exceeds this easily. Area very traditional and well away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist spots but well accessible by bus or car. Bus stop across the road, supermarket opposite. 5 restaurants within 100m and more further away but easily walkable. We had a fantastic week here and wound love to visit again sometime. If you come to the area you must go up to the castle cafe with it’s ancient building but with a superb cafe inside with some absolutely stunning views Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and enjoy the winter break!!

We arrived Thursday late at night and was greeted by George who offered us refreshments to take to the room. We had a fantastic room that was spacious, clean and equipped with everything we needed, nothing was too much to ask when we needed, staff was very attentive and welcoming and always had a smile and friendly atmosphere around the hotel. The owners were fantastic, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay, they assisted us with booking vehicles and also offered the references to my partner where was the best place to propose (I said yes 😁) The highlight was meeting the family dog yogo, even he was very welcoming. The food was to a high standard and was inexpensive. We haven’t left yet and we are already planning our next arrival to the paradise resort. We can’t thank the owners and staff for a fantastic week and we can’t wait to come back and meet the new addition to the family when baby arrives.

Came late Sunday evening to a warm welcome. George and team were friendly and helpful. We managed to sit down and have a beer after our long journey before we unpacked in our room. The room was two storey, a small living area and bathroom down stairs and bedroom upstairs. The bedroom window albeit small looked out towards a church. We were both pleasantly surprised with the room after reading some other reviews. The bed was comfy and we found extra pillows and blankets when needed. The whole room had air conditioning, kettle and fresh towels. Room was kept clean daily. Our stay was bed and breakfast, breakfast was basic continental, but nice, Peter was always very attentive and kept the area neat and tidy. Pool area is lovely and quiet (freshwater pool), everything you really need, however the pool is not heated so late October it was a bit chilly. Location is great, lots of walks (bring walking shoes) and easy bus stop access... the bus (coach) is a great way to get around the island, very easy, recommend using it for a cheap tour of the island to Fira and Oia. Local restaurants and shop opposite make your stay nice and easy! Overall would highly recommend coming and staying here for a quiet getaway!

We booked withJet2. The resort is 3 star and two weeks bed and breakfast was very inexpensive. Rooms very basic with a tiny shower but it was cleaned on a daily basis. Fresh towels and sheets and mini toiletries replaced daily. Fridge, hairdryer, iron and safe included in price. We had one problem and that was sorted immediately. Breakfast was adequate. The village has about 7eateries, one with Greek music twice a week, a bus stop taking you to Fira and a shop that sells everything. We did eat out a few times and do no recommend the one opposite the resort Bella, cannot remember the second name. Mostly we large at the resort as the food was excellent and the staff delightful. Excellent house wine. Lovely clean pool with towels provided. Rather than be negative, as this can spoil a holiday, try to build up a rapport with owners and staff. They are delightful. The owners have had a hard time with covid and a bereavement and are only human. Any reserve could be down to culture. Highlight of holiday was front of house - Yoko the Jack Russell. She loves egg, ham and chicken. We had a great break.

Wow! 8 of us stayed here for our sons wedding.Owners were very welcoming and the staff friendly. The rooms were good with a good sized fridge, comfortable bed and plenty of room, let’s be fair you only really sleep in your room. Breakfast was a continental breakfast which I’m personally not a fan of, but it was adequate and I ate it The whole place is clean, fabulous swimming pool which was used by us daily. The setting is idyllic with a good view with everything you need on the doorstep, and should you wish to venture out you caught the bus down the road. Very welcoming to children. We will definitely be coming back. More like a 4 star hotel. Thank you! We have all had a fabulous stay with you X

This hotel is a family run hotel where nothing is too much trouble the staff are so helpful. We stayed 26th September for a week and cannot complain about a single thing. We have had the best holiday the local bus stop is just along the road which goes to fira then from fira you can go anywhere on the island, very easy although there is no organisation at fira bus station 🤣🤣 we then hired a quad from a local excursion and car /quad etc virtually opposite the local bus stop about 50 euros per day, we then went all over the island as nothing far away at all. We also booked the sunset cruise which I highly recommend as the sunsets are very busy where ever you go to watch but extremely beautiful. The hotel is in the main part of the resort which is small but quiet and peaceful just what was needed, far more enjoyable than oia and fira but each to their own. The hotel food is very good we ate round the pool on our down time days very good, more local restaurants nearby which are also good. Ancient ruins just up the hill views from the top are lovely, you won't find a bad view anywhere in Santorini at all. The little dog in the hotel is super cute and loves a little fuss but also never bothered us once he's too cute. The pool area has very comfortable sunbeds where u don't have to run for a bed always been beds available for us at anytime of the day. If your looking for a quiet resort where u can base your holiday it's certainly the nicest and cheapest resort on the island, we didnt know before we came though and really have had the best time, home time today sat round pool check out by 11 shower room available near pool as we don't fly while late tonight cannot fault this place❤️ would definitely come back

Not a great start when we arrived, the owner not very welcoming at all ( to be honest not very helpful either ) We had issue with meals from day one. We had booked a Gluten free diet for my wife on half board basis but were told that they had nothing to offer her, we asked owner to remedy this but his answer was “ I have a 100 guests and can’t cater for special dietary requests”! We asked the Jet2 rep to intervene the next day but she got the same reaction! Via the rep Doromie she arranged for us to change to b&b and refund the difference. We found a restaurant directly opposite the hotel ( Porto Bello ) who were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us. On the subject of meals the breakfast are the same continental every day ,mini sausages, boiled eggs, French toast ,salad, bread ,cheese and ham. Evening meals are fixed starter no choice , small main course choice , fixed desert no choice !! We noticed if you were a paying restaurant guess you got a better menu!! The rooms are very basic . There is a very small trough like shower , basic furniture, concrete bed, it was more like a cupboard. We should have had kettle and iron in room ( it took 2 days to get kettle after repeat prompting ) we never bothered to ask for iron as it was not worth the pain of asking! It took 3 days to get outside light fixed ,the curtain was broke and filthy on one window but never got replaced, the patio door never had curtain ! Seems to us that everything was done on the cheap which is a shame because it could be a nice hotel. The pool area and pool was good. Would go back to Akrotiri but definitely not this hotel !

Only had a meal here but based on this I highly recommend the Resturant. Food and service was amazing. Will definitely eat here again. We shared the Tzatziki starter, absolutely wonderful. Swordfish to follow was cooked to perfection. House wine very nice and reasonably priced too.

We were on our way to Akrotiri lighthouse and decided to stop for a visit. We are so happy we did! Great Service, gray drinks, great atmosphere and great music! They even encouraged us to sing along to the great music being played on the patio! Beautiful design on the property and wish we had more time to stay overnight. Enjoy!!!
