Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Recently opened, well thought out design boutique hotel centrally located DIRECTLY on the bus line between port and Milopotas beach. Owned and operated by a local family with decades of experience offering exceptional location, value, and service. If you read any of my other reviews you will see that I do not mince words. Pay the extra to stay here. Associated with Salt restaurant with beach access. I could go on about the staff and breakfast and pool and and and, but the best way to experience IOS involves staying here.

Overall the hotel was very clean, had great views and a lovely pool/ bar area and good location- a 10 min walk from the beach and ~20 mins into town with all restaurants, bars etc. The rooms are fairly simple, however our main issue was the number of young party groups staying at the hotel. There was a huge amount of noise throughout the night and early hours of the morning and we struggled to sleep. We completely understand ios is a popular party location however you would expect a “luxury boutique hotel” such as this to not have these types of groups staying. We thought this was a shame as it otherwise would have been a 4 or 5 star experience as the value for money is good!

Beautiful hotel, thoughtful and attentive staff, excellent location, delicious breakfast. This is a wonderful place to stay in Ios and I would absolutely stay here again! No complaints at all. We enjoyed the bar and creative cocktails as well as the lovely view of Mylopotas Beach from our room.

Just returned from Greece and I already want to go back. It was our first time in Ios and LEVANTES was absolutely a great choice. Conveniently located within walking distance to the Mylopotas beach (which has great beach clubs and restaurant options), we enjoyed the view and the water a whole lot. The hotel is very quiet, service was great, breakfast was included, the rooms where comfy and beautifully designed.

We stayed here with a group of family and friends. It was a relaxed, comfortable, clean Hotel. It had a pleasant pool area and rooms with great views. The bar was a popular place for socialising around the pool and enjoying nice snacks and drinks. We all agreed that we hope to return one day. All of its staff were terrific.

When you look for a comfortable and yet relaxed hotel. Stylish rooms, friendly staff, amazing breakfast. You'll feel home, and enjoy a no fuss hide away. I guess the fact we were there at the end of the season (last week of September) helps, but we were very pleased.

A very relaxing hotel, spent 5 nights here. Although it is a quiet hotel it was perfect for relaxing by the pool which had great views across the bay and the town below (5 min walk down a pathway). Room had a private plunge pool which was very useful. The staff were exceptionally helpful and great for providing advice on things to do or restaurants to try in the area. The room was nice a quiet and part of a set of rooms, apartments. The hotel sits on a hillside and provides panoramic views across the bay and surround countryside. Access to nearby towns was via a local bus service that ran every 30mins and stopped right outside hotel. Plenty of water sports, activities to get involved in when on the beach. The sea was crystal clear.

We organised a pick up from the port but they didn’t turn up so we had to ring the hotel and remind them . This left us waiting for 30 minutes in the sun already tired after a long journey, not the best of starts. We stayed in room 20 and room 46, swapping to the second one after 9 nights. Room 20 had a lovely view with an excellent bathroom and comfy beds, it was close to where breakfast was served and the pool. Breakfast was superb with lots of choices and it usually lasted until 11.15. During our stay the hotel was overtaken by a wedding party. They took over all of the sunbeds and lots of the pool, making it difficult and uncomfortable for other guests to enjoy the facilities. Also coming back in the early hours jumping in the pool, making noise banging doors etc was behaviour we didn’t appreciate or enjoy. Twice somebody tried our door handle at 3am attempting to get in the wrong room, fortunately it was locked. The bus stops right outside the hotel and is very convenient for trips to the port and mylopotas beach it’s €1.60 each. We could stand on our balcony and watch the bus depart from drakos and slowly walk upstairs in time for its arrival outside the hotel. Room 46 was down 30 steps from the bar area a triple room which was cheaper than our suite in room 20 and it was certainly not as salubrious. The shower was very poor, the pressure wasn’t great and if we showered after 8pm the water was only lukewarm. The grouting in the shower was poor and the whole bathroom needed updating . The balcony was large but with it being at the bottom of the hotel the view wasn’t as good . The food and drink at the hotel were pretty good , disappointing to see no draft beer and very little choice for wines. Prices were average for the island ie quite expensive for Greece. All of the staff were lovely, kind caring and professional a credit to the hotel. We would never come back to iOS again as it’s been 3 times now and there are many more islands to visit but levantes is well worth a visit.

My husband and I stayed in Levantes Hotel last week. It was a simple hotel. It was clean, friendly staff, and easy to walk to the Old Town or beach. We rented a car for a day and drove to the beach at Manganari North Had a wonderful day. walked all the way to the end of the beach and over rocks to a smaller beach with no one there. Fabulous!!! Walked from hotel to Alma’s Sunset Bar for the sunset. Have never seen a sunset like that. the sky was on fire!! Bumped into Pluto from Levantes (he had picked us up at the port the day before) He took time out to talk to us and give us some history of his island. A wonderful person. A great visit to Ios!
