Detailed Reviews
Visited with my husband for a 3 night stay (as part of an island hopping holiday). We booked through booking.com the night before we arrived but would recommend you book in advance as it's a popular place. This is only a small complex with another studio building about 80 metres away. We had a beautifully decorated room overlooking the pool with the sea in the distance. There were lots of little touches in the room.
The studios are in a great location just a short 5 minutes walk to the beautiful beach and a bus stop to take you up the hill to the old town. There are a few bars and restaurants near by also.
We had breakfast (additional cost), every morning which we felt was good value. There is a nice pool area which is peaceful.
It's a family run place and it was extremely helpful that they will pick you up and drop you off at the port.
Just some extra advice, Ios can be a bit of a party island and as 50 year olds we were pleased to avoid August but happy to enjoy September when it was chilled and you could really enjoy the beauty of the old town.
The owners also took the current Covid situation very seriously, which was reassuring at this difficult time.
I would strongly recommend these studios and hope to return sometime.

We spend 3 beautiful days here and felt absolutely spoiled during our whole stay.
The room was very clean, the stuff is extremely kind and warm welcoming and the breakfast is something we’ll never get enough of it.
Wifi well working, spacious rooms, free parking and location only literally 2 minutes walk to the beach. Definitely looking forward to be back!

It is a small Boutique hotel with a few beautiful rooms, a few steps from the beach of Mylopotas.
Studio new and finely equipped with everything you need for a beach holiday, large built-in shower, personal detergents, comfortable mattress and pillows, maniacal cleaning, small pool and finely furnished with sun loungers, mattresses and pillows.
The fantastic breakfast with fresh daily homemade and freshly prepared products, is not 'buffet and order what you want, of course with excellent local raw material, fantastic pancakes, omelets and chocolate and pistachio cake.
Snack bar open until sunset, excellent house wine. The family that runs it is always kind and smiling at any time of the day and careful to fulfill your every wish. Greetings to Dimitra, her husband, Margarita, her husband, little Vasilli and Nini. It is the most beautiful hotel we have stayed in the Greek islands.

Close to Milopotas beach, with several restaurants and shops on the beachfront.
Upon arriving in Porto, we were welcomed by someone from the hotel with a free transfer to the hotel, they kindly allowed us to check in earlier, as we already had the room ready, a magnificent room that accommodated us very well, a couple with 1 small child , the host even took care to provide a rail for my son's bed since he is only 2 and a half years old. Upon arrival, they offered us some welcome amenities such as drinks and snacks, and explained how to rent a car nearby, how the hotel works and provided a map giving excellent tips for beaches and restaurants. Sensational!
The room was equipped with a complete mini kitchen, bathroom, a double bed and a single bed, a balcony with a table overlooking the garden and even poison for melgas they provide and warn that the night has many, simple precautions , but they provide an excellent experience.
Divine breakfast, very homemade, which they prepare on the spot according to what we ask, parking available on site for free and an incredible swimming pool that we can use at the end of the day, for example, after returning from a day of walking along the beautiful beaches from Ios.
It's a shame that we only booked 3 nights, we could easily spend at least 1 week in this hotel. I definitely recommend it and we will be back very soon. Thank you for everything!

Do not think twice, BOOK! Five star stay in an excellent family run hotel. Exceptionally clean, rooms spacious and cleaned daily, little hotel restaurant was amazing! We ate breakfast there and lunch many times. We loved the full service. Free shuttle two and from Port of Ios. Beautiful pool with sunbeds. Beach is a 5 min walk, buses come every 15 mins to Chora (little town) and it is 5 mins to the main square. By far our favourite hotel of the Greek islands so far!

We first visited Island House in 2004 when we tipped up on Ios without a booking and were scooped up at the port by Frangoulis, and have never looked back. We have seen Island House from being a small operation with a work in progress swimming pool evolve into the impressive place it is today with accommodations to suit everyone. At the core of this is hospitality in abundance from an extremely hard working couple for whom nothing is too much trouble. Since our first visit we have stayed many times, each time experiencing the same level of care as the first time. The rooms/apartments are continually being updated and we see something new every visit. We travel a lot in the UK and elsewhere and there are no places we return to with such enthusiasm and excitement! Very highly recommended for anyone looking to stay on a delightful island.

Have been back to stay at this hotel on many previous occasions. Good location 5 minutes from the best beach on the island.
Rooms are decorated to a high standard and have everything you need.
The best thing about the hotel is that it's a family run business. Nothing was to much trouble. They make you feel very welcome especially Margarita and Demitra (but all the family had differnet parts to play and were all really good).
I would recomend this hotel to anyone that wants a peaceful beach holiday. Alternativley the village of IOS is a short cab or bus ride away and has many good restaurants and bars.
I would definatley say this is one of my favourite places to stay for a relaxing break

A perfect getaway from the crowds, quiet place to stay.
It looks perfect with a carefull touch to details from your arrival untill your departure.
If i can summarize everything it would be : I feel like home! Cause exactly that's the way the host makes tou feel day by day. You have to just enjoy your vacation 😌
If you go to Ios don't miss this place to stay.
Mylopotas beach is a pleasent 5 min walt from the hotel. And nearby you have plenty of tavernas, restaurants, bakery, shops to buy whatever your heart desire.

We had a great time at Island hotel. Our Maisonette was big, super clean, bright and the kitchen was well equipped.
The staff was so friendly and we appreciated the tips about the island that they gave us.
The position is perfect, close to the beach and to the center. You can also enjoy a swimming pool near the reception.
Another point goes to the breakfast, which was one of the best I had in all of the Cyclades islands. It was super fresh and everything was homemade.
Here we felt like home and I hope to be back again!

Loved this hotel. Located 250 metres from a beautiful beach and many restaurants and cafes. There are a couple of mini markets as well. The owners and staff can’t do enough for you. The rooms are spacious and spotless with fresh towels every day. The pool area is fantastic and you can get drinks and snacks served all day. They offer complimentary pick up from the port and drop off as well. Can’t recommend highly enough and would go back in a heartbeat. And did I mention how quiet it is?
