Island house hotel recently renovated and perfectly situated is the ideal destination for a relaxing getaway in Ios. It is located 200 meters from Mylopotas sandy beach. Each apartment and studio of our property consists of a kitchenette, refrigerator, bathroom and some have separated bedroom. All the types of our rooms have big and comfortable private balconies with beautiful view to sea, garden and swimming pool. Island house hotel outdoor swimming pool with the sun loungers and the open plan garden area provides its visitor a unique atmosphere for relaxing and enjoying the golden Cyclades sun.

We first visited Island House in 2004 when we tipped up on Ios without a booking and were scooped up at the port by Frangoulis, and have never looked back. We have seen Island House from being a small operation with a work in progress swimming pool evolve into the impressive place it is today with accommodations to suit everyone. At the core of this is hospitality in abundance from an extremely hard working couple for whom nothing is too much trouble. Since our first visit we have stayed many times, each time experiencing the same level of care as the first time. The rooms/apartments are continually being updated and we see something new every visit. We travel a lot in the UK and elsewhere and there are no places we return to with such enthusiasm and excitement! Very highly recommended for anyone looking to stay on a delightful island.…

Loved this hotel. Located 250 metres from a beautiful beach and many restaurants and cafes. There are a couple of mini markets as well. The owners and staff can’t do enough for you. The rooms are spacious and spotless with fresh towels every day. The pool area is fantastic and you can get drinks and snacks served all day. They offer complimentary pick up from the port and drop off as well. Can’t recommend highly enough and would go back in a heartbeat. And did I mention how quiet it is?

A very nice place to stay while you are in Ios Island. Very friendly staff, great breakfast, nice surrounding and garden. Very close to the beautiful Mylopotas beach.Ideal for families. Highly recommended!!!

Do not think twice, BOOK! Five star stay in an excellent family run hotel. Exceptionally clean, rooms spacious and cleaned daily, little hotel restaurant was amazing! We ate breakfast there and lunch many times. We loved the full service. Free shuttle two and from Port of Ios. Beautiful pool with sunbeds. Beach is a 5 min walk, buses come every 15 mins to Chora (little town) and it is 5 mins to the main square. By far our favourite hotel of the Greek islands so far!

Warm family run hotel within a 5 minute walk to Mylopotas beach. We opted for a the option excluding breakfast and ended up ordering breakfast there most of our stay which was nice. Pool is nice and towels were readily available. Was also value for money.

Perfect one day stay in this beautiful place. Big,spacious and clean room, wonderful balcony, perfect view, such a nice staff. We loved everything! The beach is just couple of minutes from the property! Will be definitely coming back!

We stayed here for 5 nights and it’s one of the loveliest hotels we’ve ever stayed in (and as an ex-flight attendant I have stayed in a lot of hotels!). It’s a family run boutique hotel and they’re the kindest family, making our stay really relaxing! Our stay started and ended by being picked up/dropped off at the ferry. We were offered a drink on arrival at the hotel and given lots of restaurant and bar recommendations for our stay (we tried most of these which were traditional Greek restaurants and great!). We were also given a complimentary large bottle of water for our first evening. Because we were staying before the busy season started the hotel was quiet (we had a private pool most days!) so we were offered a larger suite than we booked which was a lovely touch and an amazing room with lots of space and very charming decor! Throughout our stay the family would always greet us whenever they saw us and asked us how our day was going. One evening as we walked out our room to walk up to Chora for dinner (about a 30 minute walk - uphill) we bumped into the owners and they were driving up so offered us a lift with them which was really kind! The hotel is very clean, quiet and in a beautiful setting - they grow their own fruit & veg in their garden, we enjoyed breakfast/lunch at the hotel a few times and their Greek salad is made using peppers and onion grown in their garden. The hotel is in a great location just a 5 minute walk back from the beach and where there are lots of restaurants/bars (because it’s set back from the road though, despite its close location, it’s very quiet). It’s got a great sized pool which is very relaxing with plenty of beds both in the sun and shade. They also have towels for you to use by the pool and fresh towels changed daily in your room. The hotel room had a small kitchen and a hair dryer, the air con was strong (which was needed because it was 31 degrees when we were there), a good shower and the WiFi worked well throughout the hotel. We absolutely loved our stay here, thank you so much for making our first visit to Ios so perfect and we can’t wait to return - we will definitely be staying at Island House again when we do!…

Have been back to stay at this hotel on many previous occasions. Good location 5 minutes from the best beach on the island. Rooms are decorated to a high standard and have everything you need. The best thing about the hotel is that it's a family run business. Nothing was to much trouble. They make you feel very welcome especially Margarita and Demitra (but all the family had differnet parts to play and were all really good). I would recomend this hotel to anyone that wants a peaceful beach holiday. Alternativley the village of IOS is a short cab or bus ride away and has many good restaurants and bars. I would definatley say this is one of my favourite places to stay for a relaxing break

This family run business is fantastic. The rooms are recently renovated and really fit the Greek vibe! The food is fresh and very delicious. A wonderful place to stay in Ios. The only place in Ios you should be staying!
