We spent 5 nights in this authentic and very comfortable house. It is quite big and very nicely furnished, you feel like at home. The living/dining room is a sunny covered terrace with an amazing view on the volcano “Corona”. Everything is well thought in the house, for example you find every equipment you need in the kitchen to cook meals and breakfasts. Even the fresh orange juice maker! Also we appreciated a lot the “survival breakfast” kit for the first day making it not mandatory for us to go to the supermarket right after our arrival. The surroundings of the house are nice with heated swimming pool and barbecue place. We liked as well our hosts reactivity when little issue with “no hot water” occurred - they made everything to fix the issue as rapidly as possible. The house is also nicely located, it is calm, far from huge touristic resorts and still close to many worth doing and seing things (Mirador del Rio, hiking trip to the Playa del Risco with view on La Graciosa, hiking trip on the Corona volcano, proximity to Orzola to take the boat till the Graciosa island, the little village if Haría with some nice restaurants). In conclusion, we definitely recommend to stay in La Finca Corona and will probably go again if we plan new holidays to Lanzarote!

We stayed in the villa ' Vista Risco'. This appartment is very spacious and has fantastic views. We really enjoyed the space and could choose from different seating areas to enjoy the view from different angles on different parts of the day. There are even sunbeds inside to relax when it is a bit colder and with a window in the ceiling to enjoy the stars at night. The living area, kitchen and bathroom are very well equipped, the owners thought of everything. We even received a free breakfast for the first day. The surroundings are very quiet. The pool felt like a private pool since there were no guests around most of the time. Restaurants available at a 10-15 minutes drive and nearby many sightseeing and walking spots in northern Lanzarote.

We had an amazing stay at Finca la corona. The villa was really beautiful, with a huge comfy bed, and lovely furnishings. We especially enjoyed sleeping in a cave for the week! The kitchen was well-equipped and we appreciated the small touches such as the information pack, welcome bottle of wine, and bits of food (butter, bread, cheese etc..) The property is secluded up in the mountains so you get a great view of the striking Lanzarote landscapes and amazing stargazing.

We would have really loved for the hot tub to be filled, as some days it was a bit too windy to use the pool, but we understand that it's probably not worth the cost of doing so, as we were the only ones staying at that time.

The villas are near the lovely towns of Haría and Ye, far away from any mega-resorts or package holiday hotels, which we much preferred. There are beautiful beaches, swimming spots, and lovely coastal towns about 20 - minutes drive from the Finca, that are much more authentically Canarian than what you will find in much of the south of the island.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and we hope to come again in the future!

This is a wonderful cluster of 4-5 villas in the remotest corner of northern Lanzarote, for those seeking peace in beautiful, wild natural surroundings.

We stayed in the Villa Poniente, one of the two villas in the converted old barns of the finca. The conversion is very good, low key and thoughtful, as is the decor. The villa is equipped brilliantly with everything one could possibly need and is cleaned daily on weekdays. It even has a barbecue on the small terrace, which we used for some lovely dinners in-house. Unless your neighbours in the exactly opposite villa Naciente are noisy (which is always a problem on school holidays, as we discovered in our last couple of days, with a rather thoughtless family who thought they owned the entire place), this is a dead quiet location all day round, with sunset views and stunning night skies (milky way and all).

Two glitches worth mentioning, which might have dropped the rating to four rather than five, but decided against it at the last minute, because of everything else advocating for the place: the winters are colder than expected and the old farmhouse can get a bit damp, even in bone-dry Lanzarote, so we needed the heating on for most of the day. This had to be arranged via a number of phone calls over 24hrs and worked fine until our last couple of days (coinciding bizarrely with the arrival of the obnoxious neighbours!) when the heating just stopped altogether! It was impossible to get hold of anyone to sort it out, so we spent our final 48hrs with all our clothes on...
Secondly, the place advertises wifi internet access, but we had to have various technicians over for several days and hours at a time to keep repairing the failing connection, which was so slow it was almost as good as non-existent (several times I couldn't even open my email account because the connection was so slow it timed out, let alone access any flash website...)
Both these things are technicalities that can be sorted out and they should, so as not to detract from the excellence of everything else - it is not a problem to say 'no internet', for example, but if it is advertised, it should be working properly.

And finally, absolutely everyone we came in contact with - owner via phone, caretaker, cleaner etc - were lovely people, eager to help (even if not always able!), pleasant and discreet.

Highly recommended - and would you please consider opening another finca like this (perhaps adults-only?!) around the middle of the island, too?

First time in Lanzarote and wanted to experience both sides of the Island.
Finca corona did not disappoint .We stayed a full week at the villa, the facilities are amazing and the views from this massive villa were a welcome surprise .
The villa is very large in comparison to most one bedroom villas with plenty of space from the wraparound sunroom.I particularly like the 2 indoor sun loungers that were positioned over 2 skylights so you could view the starry sky from inside your warm and cozy villa.
We had stayed our first week in Playa Blanca in a modern villa which was quite cold at night in
March ,so heading home to a warm and cosy villa after hiking the nearby cliffs and exploring this wonderful island was a delight.
I highly recommend the restaurant close by , volcano de la corona if you love meat from the grill and visiting the island of graciosa is a must.

We stayed 3 nights in Vista Risco and wished we'd spent our whole week there! The villa itself had everything we needed (plenty of towels, kitchen utensils, appliances, even a dishwasher!) and the welcome pack was sufficient for a couple of days for breakfast and lunch. The rooms all felt very cosy and we settled in very quickly. The enclosed veranda surrounding our villa was a great space to relax, full of light with lovely views. We noticed lots of cars slow down as they drove past to have a good look!

The whole site is nicely kept - plenty of space with a heated pool (I think this is quite rare judging by our experience elsewhere on the island) which was a really good size. We also enjoyed the use of the hot tub and there are a few pieces of gym equipment for those that are keen.

There's plenty of great walks along the coast etc right from the villa. Definitely do the climb up Montana Corona. I'd recommend eating in Haria or Arrieta (each a 10 mins drive).

Weather did seem a bit mixed in this corner of the island - quite dramatic though. We had hot sun, heavy downpours, spectacular lighting and sea fog all in 3 days!

We stayed at Amenecer.
The villa was great, so was our contact. (Simona)
The villa was well equiped as well.
There were couple of minor problems worth mentioning:
The jacuzzi wasn't warm enough and there was no air conditioning in the villa- not even a fan.
The biggest issue for us was the solitude of the place- the villas are located in the village of Ye, which is very secluded. In an even more secluded spot of the village.
When other tourists are present in the site in other villas there's more sense of security.
But when you are completely alone in there (the only villa occupied by yourself) it gets a little creepy, especialy when the entrance to the villa is through a thick door in the balcony and the site is poorly lit.

Very nice place overall. A very large apartment in a house divided into 3 flats. Gorgeous veranda with view over Corona mountain, where you can eat or rest. Equipment is one of the best seen in rental houses and decoration is very well done. The location is a bit isolated and away from everything (you definitely need a car), but that is what you may look for. One weak point, sound insulation is poor, and you can clearly hear everything in the neighbouring flat(s). Also the wifi didn't work well when we were there (maybe because if bad weather).

We spent a week in La Trasera over Christmas and had a wonderful time. The villa is fully equipped and very well looked after. We received a warm welcome and even a Christmas basket of goodies. The location is stunning, authentic and far from the crowds. I especially enjoyed a remarkable hike down to the beach, which you can access from the property. One note, the satellite internet is slow and intermittent.
