Staying at Chalet La Luge has been a highlight of our year. The hosts, Dan and Mini, keep everything absolutely ship shape, with extraordinary attention to the needs of their guests. The nightly dinners are truly extraordinary, with genuine care given to allergies and other dietary needs. The ski area is so vast that it takes determined effort to ride every conveyance and ski every run, to say nothing of the limitless off-piste opportunities. At the end of each day, we can count on finding a fresh baked treat waiting on the table for tea! Spending a week here may feel like a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but in truth, it's an experience that is well worth repeating. On a scale of 1-5 stars, Chalet La Luge deserves at least eleven. Plus, the price is genuinely accessible if you visit outside of popular holidays and school vacations. We've stayed here three times, and we would change nothing. Thank you, Mini and Dan, for your exceptional hospitality. We hope to see you again for many years to come.

We booked a last minute week in Chalet La Luge in mid April. The chalet is comfortable and homey. All rooms are en suite which is a real plus when traveling with 3 teenagers! What makes this chalet stand out from other catered chalets we’ve stayed in are Mini and Dan’s warm welcome (it being an owner run chalet makes a real difference). Mini’s cooking is delicious. We eat mainly vegetarian, and Mini was able to accommodate us with excellent vegetarian fare that even my slightly more carnivorous husband loved. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic holiday at Chalet La Luge. Mini and Dan are fab hosts and Mini is an amazing chef. Had delicious local wines at dinner. Cooked breakfast on all 7 mornings and lovely cakes. Also interesting local cheeses. All the food was delicious and imaginative. The chalet is spotless, really comfortable, lovely rooms. We are on the ground floor with doors opening to the outside balcony. Enjoyed the hot tub most evenings before dinner. Dan gives a lift up to the slopes in the morning and then we caught the bus back followed by short walk, although the drive to their chalet is quite steep but downhill. Do not want to leave and definitely want to come back.

3 trips to Chalet La Luge, and planning to return Jan 2021. Dan and Mini are top hosts. Mini is an amazing chef, fabulous ideas and execution. The chalet is beautifully furnished in an amazing location. No Ski in and out.... not a problem just 2 mins up the road with Dan in the Land Rover to the piste.... and always with a smile. Coming home easy too, Aperos in Bar des ESTABLONS until one of the regular bus shuttles comes in to deliver safely home. Thank you Dan and Mini we'll be back.

It couldn't have been any better. Mini's food is sensational, Dan's wine selection really carefully chosen. Beautiful chalet with a real log fire and outdoor hot tub. It's a top quality chalet in every way - well finished, well thought out. But it's Dan and Mini that make it. They look after your every need and they're great company so it feels really relaxed.

An excellent stay with Dan and Mini. The location is good, near the slopes. The rooms are cosy, the views are outstanding. The food is wonderful. 6 days you will get 5 course dinner and wine. Definetily worth it! Mini is a great Chef also! Dan ensures that your stay has no problems and is very enjoyable. Thanks to both Dan and Mini. I will definitely recommend.

I had an excellent stay at Chalet La Luge, with nothing negative to say about it. Dan and Mini do all the little things to ensure that your stay has no hiccups and is very enjoyable. I particularly loved rides from Dan to the slopes and Mini's sweets that she prepared for when we returned from a long day skiing. I would wholeheartedly recommend Chalet La Luge to anyone looking to holiday near Verbier, it was an amazing experience!

An excellent stay with Dan and Mini. To start, the food is superb.. Mini is a great Chef and we were truly spoiled over the days. Dan was great in the morning, battling all weather to get us to the slopes. The Chalet is immaculate, clean and comfortable. I will definitely return, as this was the perfect ski holiday. Thanks to both Dan and Mini.

After our second stay we can wholeheartedly recommend the Chalet la Luge. The rooms are cosy, the views are outstanding, from the rooms as well as from the hot tub. But these are not the greatest assets. Mini and Dan make for superb hosts. Their hospitality is always sincere. They keep the chalet perfectly clean. Mini's cooking is super tasty - sadly this means losing body-weight is not an option ;). Dan makes sure everything is running smoothly. The taxi-ride to the slopes in the morning complete the package which makes for a truely relaxing stay.
