Our first time here and had a lovely week. The villa is well equipped inside and out. Lovely areas to sit outside making the most of sun or shade and with amazing views. Lush gardens and clean pools. Plenty of seating for sun bathing, reading and dining. Two minute drive to the village of Lefkogia with good local taverna.and lovely beaches within 2 or 3 km . Particularly liked the Mariou Taverna for great food.

Me and my family loves this place! Such great value for your money and such a great property- this is our slice of heaven and this trip in 2019 is our 10th time back. This property has to houses, both with separate swimming pools, huge gardens, BBQ and all you will need for a great vacation. It’s a 2 United to the local mini market and tavernas and 8 minutes to the famous Plakia town. And even better you have lots of famous AND secret beaches just a short car ride away. The Thymari- villa offers beds for 6 people and Anemos- villa has beds for 8. You can rent a house separately or as we have done rent both and enjoy a great family and friends vacation. And best of all the houses are in different levels so your house gets privacy, even with the grandparents babysitting next door…

We had a lovely holiday in Villa Thymari which is a little private paradise with its luxurious garden full of blooming roses, its pools (one shallow one - ideal for our little children), its unique view over Plakias bay and the impressive mountains, its different shady terraces and places to sit, its homely atmosphere (also due to the very nice and warm-hearted host family - thank you for everything!!). You can easily reach some quiet beaches (some ideal for snorkelling) by car, go for hikes into the gorges (Imbros, Kalikratis, Arádena etc.) or up the mountains, go fon a (boat-) tour to see the South West coast (great hiking area, too), see some secluded places in central Crete (Armari Valley eg.), visit charming Rethymnon or just relax in the wonderful garden of the villa. As our children were sad to go back home, we had to promise we would definitely come back ;-).…

We hat a great time at the Villa. The Place is very private and you can reach a lot of Tourist Spots for a Day trip nearby (by Car). Unfortunately very few international tv Programmes. We would come back.

We had a lovely two week stay at villa Thymari. The house is private located and surrounded by a beautiful garden and swimming pool overlooking the Plakias bay. We will treasure our memories of our breakfasts at the front porch planning our trips of the day Several small beaches are in the vicinety, the most impressive of course Preveli beach. Plakias is a very friendly town with good restaurants. we would love to come back someday...

The idea was to come back in the region of Plakias, which had definitely a special charm, A large valley, full of olive trees, with small secluded beaches. A couple of villages around with the authentic feeling of the cretean soul. It was a unique chance to discover Thymari villa, where we stayed three weeks last year. And we came back again this year since the place was so marvelous. In a very calm environment the spacious house accommodates a large family with two ore more children, with all the facilities. A large garden full of flowers and luxurious trees with a modern swimming pool provide a deep sensation of wellness, safety. The view on the valley, the see and the mountains is unique. We had a wonderful week in Crete May 2014 when we stayed in this villa. The houses is very nice and the garden is beautiful with flowers and as a whole it gives a privat feeling. There are neighbours around but the experience is that you are there all on your own. The view of the mountain, the countryside and the sea is Magnificent.

This villa is excellent. Complete inventory, view on the sea and the mountains, beautiful garden, kind owner who personally came around to clean the pool and water the roses. The villa is on the outskirts of the village, privacy is excellent. The separate pool for little children is super. May 2013

We had a fantastic week in the property. The owner was welcoming and helpful, the property was great and the garden and pool (and views) lovely. The village has a number of restaurants and a shop and the trip down to the coast where you can find everything else, is only about five minutes. Altogether a great experience.
