Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Blue Bay Village in Batsi, Andros is the nicest place we’ve stayed in what has been 7 holidays to Greece over 15 years. The location and view is superb, as is the warm welcome and service from owner George and his lovely family and staff. We enjoyed the tranquility of the location, the chilled evening vibe around the bar and pool, the breakfasts and high standard of food and the fact that whatever question we had - George had the answer. From the Blue Bay it's a 15-20 minute walk into Batsi along a road with sea views all the way - perfect for photos. There are several beaches nearby, two are 5 minutes from the Blue Bay. If you wanted to spend your time in the pool, that’s one of the best you’ll find too. Batsi is a perfect place to stay - big enough to have a lot of places to eat and drink but small enough not to attract huge crowds or cruise ships. They are found in nearby Mykonos which is a 2.5 hour ferry trip. Another great thing about Andros is the trails. The island has a number of very well signposted hikes that really let you get the feel of the place and in October hosts a walking festival. We loved the Blue Bay and feel sure we’ll be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Bay from July 5-9. Very nice duplex suite with lots of space for a family of four - beautifully decorated and big bedrooms. Pool area was also great with plenty of sun loungers and shaded areas. Very accomodating staff that made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived - highly reccomend this place, though it is a little far away from Batsi (mainly because of the heat when we were there - had it been a little cooler we might have enjoyed the walk to town)

Somebody here is a perfectionist and it shows. From the beautiful plants and flowers in the garden, to the perfect rooms, everything well kept and super clean. Kind and helpful staff. A good breakfast. If I would allow myself one slight suggestion of improvement, it would be the lunch menu. There isn't much excitement there, and we tried one dish and it wasn't very memorable. Other than that, this is a wonderful place. Stay here if you can !

Stayed for six days during my brother in law (and now beautiful greek sister in law)'s wedding celebration. A big spectrum of fifteen people just from the British side of the family, from 15 months to mid 70's but all loved our stay. Stunning, accomidating, clean, wonderful food, pleasantly inexpensive for the standard of facilities available. The main thing that sells this wonderful resort for me are the family who run it and the rest of the staff, who during our stay could not do enough for us. Meeting my wife of 30 years whilst working in Crete, I'm more than familiar with 'putting on a tourist face' but this wonderful place really really shows its heart-felt. Would I return...bet your life I would!! Every day with a great menu (we all recommend their 'Blue Bay Special), my ever demanding wife kept requesting her "favourite greek meals not on the menu" and amazingly enough the next day it was 'the Special of the day'! Small resort with that personal touch. Owner - Γεώργιος, if your reading think you again a big thank you for a special stay.

We stayed at Blue Bay first week in July. The hotel is in a stunning position with fabulous views The room was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed. The pools were never too busy . George and his team were the stars, nothing was too much trouble . Highly recommend .

We cherished our three nights at the gorgeous Blue Bay Hotel in gorgeous Andros Island. We were on the island to celebrate a dear friend's 50th Birthday celebration, and half the guests stayed at the Blue Bay with the other half in the Annourousa right down the road. Both hotels are gorgeous, but we were extremely pleased with our accommodations at the Blue Bay. The grounds are beautiful and well-tended, and the two pools are modern, and clean with ample beach chairs and other sitting options (some of the seating options are clever and interesting, such as swings and artsy outdoor loungers). The breakfast was bountiful and included numerous vegan and vegetarian options, which I particularly appreciated. Best of all was the room! We stayed in a two-floor suite with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and large enough for all of -- a king bed for my DH and myself, and a full-sized bed for our 16 YO son. Both bathrooms were modern and clean, with sustainability upgrades and high quality sustainable materials (we are the kind of travelers who notice these things!). I mostly enjoyed our beautiful outdoor balcony and patio, that contained a table and chairs, and was large enough for us to sit and enjoy the gorgeous view of the beautiful blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Frosting on the cake was the exceptional service and friendly staff. Thank you so much, if you are reading this! You made our stay truly special. A wonderful place to stay in a beautiful island. I highly recommend!

There were 9 of us in 5 rooms that stayed here. All 9 of us can’t stop talking about how great our stay was at blue bay. It was the highlight of our 3 week trip. Katerina’s meat balls were amazing. The food was all so amazing. We will be back someday. Hopefully sooner than later. Thanks George for being such a great host.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in October, it was in the off season so the kitchen, beach bar (which looks like a great place to hang out in the summer), pool bar and jacuzzi were all closed. We had been been wrongly told that kitchen would be open so were annoyed to find it closed but George admitted his error and paid for taxis to Batsi for us each evening. Blue Bay Village is about a 20 minute very scenic walk from Batsi (€5 in a taxi) and has excellent sea views. Our room was large, clean, comfortable and had a lovely sea view from our balcony. The breakfast was good and there was a large selection to choose from. George and his family/staff were very helpful and friendly. The beach and beach bar are a few minutes walk down the steps. This would be an excellent place to stay during the summer

Andros is a great destination for relaxing vacation and this hotel is the best choise: the location is ideal as you are in the middle of everything, next to a small beautiful beach with unique view, especially from the pool area. Staff friendly and smily, rooms nice and clean. Don’t miss Zorgos beach and the tavern above

Wonderful hotel near by Batsi main area. Definitely a good location to stay and explore Andros island. Best to rent a car to move around as it’s quite a big island. The rooms are very clean and spacious overlooking the sea and pool area. Friendly staff. Recommended for sure.
