We pretty much only stayed over here so that we could get to the Plitvice National Park ahead of the crowds, but there's a fantastic little spot just a few minutes walk from this homestay which seems almost entirely undiscovered by the masses. So undiscovered in fact, that the only other people we saw there over two days were so... More

Just a few km downstream from the entrance of the national park, a great base for visiting the lakes. While you cannot swim in the lakes in the national park, the Korana river that formed the lakes runs by this place and here swimming is allowed! The couple that run the guest house are extremely nice and helpful. When the... More

It was a comfortable stay for a night. The facilities were good. No breakfast. But all these are well informed in advance and we had gone prepared. The place is clean and easily accessible from the road and just 4 km from Plitvice lakes entrance-1. When we took the room, the beds were hot, being summer and just below the... More

Miletic is a lovely quiet guest house with brilliant staff. Room we were in was fine, no air con but cool enough only hassle was having window open meant a bit of traffic noise. To fix this they could provide a fan but otherwise good clean space with nice beds and lovely en suite bathroom. Hosts will be able to... More

This is a cute family run inn close to Plitvice Lakes. I spent the day hiking in the national park and was feeling too tired at the end of the day to drive all the way back to Split. I pulled into the driveway looking for a room for the night. The price was extremely reasonable and the room was... More

We came upon this place just by driving by. A women walked us up the drive and spoke to the proprietor saying we wanted a room. The proprietor was so helpful said she had a room and the cost. She spoke very good English and was very friendly. Her husband was also very communicative. When asked for recommendations and things... More

The Miletic guest house is a family-owned, cheap but extremely confortable solution, if you want to visit the Plitvice Lakes National Park (which lie about 2.5 miles from the gues house). Its room rates are extremely affordable and there is a fridge in the common are which guests can use communally, the family-staff is cordial and helpful. The only small... More

“In summer do not choose the family room for 4 persons on top floor as it is hot. You need an aircon or at least a fan.”

“I think some rooms don't have a private bathroom (ours did) some make sure you select that option when booking, or request the en-suite option to the owners. Also, after check in we learned that some of the rooms have a balcony (ours didn't) so make sure you put that request in, in case you'd like the option of having a balcony.”
