We stayed at the Hotel Maxim for a week early June, during our second trip adventuring around Croatia. The Hotel is in a prime location, overlooking the beautiful Marina in Bozava. The tiny village has two restaurants which serve fantastic food and wine and the hotel is surrounded by pine trees and walk ways. There is a train which goes...

Splendid location next to a serene small port village of Božava. This hotel has so much potential but fails to live up to it. Staff needs a bit training, some areas in hotel need cleaning - it al has that feeling like somebody has forgotten about their job. Overall a pleasant stay, food is more than decent.

Hotel Maxim is a little paradise situated in small bay overlooking the Adratic Sea. It's exceptionally beautiful and the hotel has everything you need as well as very friendly staff. The pool was great especially for the kids. Not many downsides to this experience other than: We only had wifi by the recetion and he food was middle in standard....

This hotel has a perfect position, right next to the sea. The food was absolutely fabulous. Clean rooms, a nice swimming pool (even though too small) and a bar close to the swimming pool. On the other hand, you have to pay for simply everything. In the hotel catalogue they write that there is wi-fi, fitness centre, tennis court and...

Most hotels these days seem to oversell themselves on their websites with flowery prose and flattering, wide-angle, specially lit photos while some rely on flat out lies and a talent for trick photography. The 4-star Hotel Maxim in Bozava, Dugi Otek is the opposite! It is a fabulous hotel in a unique location where the sea actually laps onto the...
