We stayed for 1 night while biking to Sagres. Great spot and love what this place has done. They bought a bunch of the original homes in a charming village and turned them into places to stay. Rooms are great- completely updated and renovated beautifully while maintaining the original architecture and charm of village. Wifi works well, and bed is...

We stayed at Casas do Moinho for three nights while hiking the Rota Vicentina. As others have mentioned, the hotel is lovely and the staff are extremely kind. Unfortunately for me, I fell extremely ill just as we arrived, but the staff at CdM helped coordinate a taxi to the nearest urgent care facility and everyone asked after my health...

We were walking the Rota Vicentina Fishermen's Trail, and we had picked this for our rest day. What great good fortune. This was by far the nicest place we stayed, and we got to enjoy it for 2 nights. Extra thanks to the management for upgrading us from the B&B to 2 houses. This hotel has a wonderful concept -...

Calm, near the beach (5 min drive) and so relaxing. Some rooms are small and cozy. The breakfast is amazing. The staff is super friendly and efficient. Recommend it to whoever is very demanding in luxury vacations. Best relaxing vacations I had in years.

Walking the Rota Vicentina this was a wonderful treat at the end of a long day. The apartment was lovely and having tea and cookies waiting was heaven. Great restaurants in walking distance made this town and lodging one of our very favorite of our 2 week walk, so much so we told our son to book this for his...

Yes, it's quite a ways up the circuitous streets to get to the office, but we think it's entirely worth it. We were met at reception by Raquel, who was engaging and friendly. She showed us to some clean, compact, and very efficient rooms up the street that were created from remodeled homes in the neighborhood. Very moder inside, and...

The property where the pool is set is gorgeous with lots of lovely seating and sunbathing areas and a chilled vibe. The breakfast is terrific too so, what's not to like? Well, I guess if you are in a poolside suite, all is fabulous but the B&B rooms are not great at all. Firstly, is the steep climb 200 metres...

We returned to Casas do Moinho to enjoy some relaxing days. The village lodging is located above Odeceixe in a street overlooking a very nice windmill (not fully operational but still very pretty). The apartments are located around the main complex (near the pool) or scattered around the village (walking distance nonetheless). It's very easy to park since this is...

We stayed here on our Rota Vicentina walk. It is up a pretty long hill away from the center of Town, which is pretty tiring after a long days walk, but you get views that are really super (and there is no way you would walk up there if you weren't staying there). We stayed in one of the small...
