We stayed at Casa Vicentina for a few days in September. We used it as a base while hiking sections of the Rota Vicentina Fishermen's Trail. It was very easy to drive to the trailheads in the morning and then get a cab back to the trailhead at the end of the day, pick up your car, drive back to...

The rooms, which encircle the garden and pool are ample, well-laid out with plenty of storage and a nice patio overlooking the garden (and pool). The innkeepers were friendly and helpful, including knocking up a late light lunch and making suggestions for walks. Breakfast was fine, with lots of choice and local content making it more interesting that the sort...

After staying 2 nights at Casa Vicentina, we can assert on many of the good reviews about this place. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable and the view to the swimming pool relaxing. At night the frogs "sang" for us, giving a tune to our rest. If you don't like nature sounds, take that in account. The breakfast...

We started our walking holiday here and they couldn't have been more friendly. We arrived earlier than expected but they happily offered lunch and showed us to our room after that. Very comfortable, looking out on the pool and sung to by the frogs at night! A very good first taste of the Rota Vicentina!

Built in traditional Alentejo style the rooms are cosy and spotlessly clean. Excellent value if you are walking along the Costa Vicentina and want to experience the appeal of a traditional B&B . The staff are charming and very welcoming.

We spent 2 nights at Casa Vicentina and the experience was very good. Casa Vicentina is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a peaceful stay surrounded by nature. The rooms are carefully well decorated and well preserved. It has a nice parking to leave the car, the surroundings are very pleasant to go for a walk. The place is...

The room was spacious and very comfortable, the welcome from the owner and his team was good. The atmosphere was generally very relaxing and we spent the afternoon both lounging by the eco pool listening to the frogs in the reeds and sitting reading on the bourgainvilia shaded terrace. Great spot for either families or couples to chill. Dinner was...

We already have stayed at Casa Vicentina a few times. Last time it was with our son and he loved to play at the yard and the animals are very friendly. Lots of space to run. the only thing to say is that if you want to cook the exaustion equipment is very noisy and not very efficient. Very friendly,...

We spent our first night in the Alentejo region at Casa Vicentina. It was a great start to a great trip. The property was very pretty with a pool and lake that was filled with frogs. The room was pretty, spacious and comfortable. We had a very nice little patio outside our door to enjoy the fresh air. We had...

We've just returned from 5 nights in this delightful property. We were self catering and found the facilities excellent, even washing up liquid, salt, sugar, oil and vinegar were provided. The pool was lovely with plenty of sun loungers and the adjacent pond replete with lilies, fountains and tiny frogs was an added bonus. There was a lovely terrace on...
