Lovely stay in number 2 the stables. Lovely cottage set in a beautiful gated site. There are a few steps down a hill to get to the cottage but once you are down the cottage is very big and all on one level. Two good sized bedrooms, the main has an en-suite and you have a main bathroom too. The lounge/dinning room and kitchen is all open plan which makes it perfect. Everything you need for a holiday like home. This cottage has a hot tub too which was lovely after a day out exploring. We have stayed at the valley a few times and love it, even out of season. The bar,restaurant and the pool are closed out of season. Cornwall out of season is lovely but a lot of places are closed, this did not stop us finding new places meeting up with friends the weather was good as well.

A wonderful welcome from Lauren and her team awaited us! Our cottage was spotless and the doggy welcome packs a lovely touch! We think the dog tags are one of the best ideas. Lovely on site restaurant and food was great! Big portions so visit hungry. Dogs enjoyed the enclosed park, woodland walk and wash station for after a muddy walk. A fab base to explore Cornwall - we had the best time!

I am glad your pooches approved of their welcome pack, we do try to ensure they enjoy their holiday as much as their owners! One of the main reasons we installed the dog run area this summer, its only fair to let them run free and play! Its lovely to hear you comments about our restaurant, we were lucky enough to have our very own Masterchef Ondine on site for selected dates through the season and its safe to say she was a massive hit! Once again we have been well looked after by Lauren and the valley team. My only criticism on this occasion is:: the inconsiderate visitors and the locals' passing through the site that do not clear up their dog mess. Pleased to see that the valley now ha a dedicated dog enclosure.

I am so sorry that other guests neglected to clean up after their dogs, this is especially frustrating given that we have dog bins located throughout the sit as well as providing complimentary disposal bags! I am so pleased to hear you liked our new dog enclosure, the grounds team have worked wonders with the space and have enjoyed viewing several Deer up in the area while tending the grass (thankfully not at the same time as the dogs!!) Quiet, comfortable and extremely relaxing. Stayed in one of the dog friendly cottages, which on arrival we found to be spotless. Not a sign of previous doggy visits. The resort was extremely safe, nice walks for the furry friends ,swimming pool was a bonus. Would love to return.

Excellent accomadation, clean and modern, the site is in really good condition and well maintained. Lauren in reception has gone above and beyond to ensure our stay has been faultless. There are some nice country walks around the site. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues during the week but they were resolved straightaway. I would recomend the Valley for a relaxed stay.

Stunningly beautiful site, off the beaten track, quiet and immaculately presented. It has its own restaurant (at the end of summer it only opens Mon/Thurs & Fri.) The Cottages are modern and very comfortable. Some very nice and personal touches add to the experience - tips on local places to visit, complimentary local choccies and biscuits. Although no essentials (milk, bread, butter) so be sure to bring your own. The whole site is on a hill (quite a steep one) so might be problematic for wheelchair users. Really handy for both Truro and Falmouth (each being a 10-15 min drive away). There is a local train station (Perranwell) with free parking if you don't fancy the drive. Beds are comfortable and sheets clean, though our double bed was two singles put together - not a problem though and didn't slip down the middle once! 🙃 Would come again, the advice we received was just after the Easter hols is an especially good time to visit. …

We do offer Cornish Hampers which can be placed in your property teady for your arrival, these have a scrummy selection of local produce such as Trewithan Milk, Baker Toms artisan bread, Trewithan butter, Cornish tea, Cornish Jam & bacon and ham from our fabulous local butcher, next time you stay get in touch with the team and we can make the arrangements for this for you! All of our properties do benefit from having bespoke Milbrook zip and link beds, which affords our guests the option to change up room configurations as required, I am so glad you found these comfortable! Even though the weather was often rainy, we spent an enjoyable two weeks with The Valley as our base. Lauren and the rest of the staff are so friendly and will really go above and beyond to provide any assistance. There’s amazing attention to details which really make you feel welcome - a homely communal games room, use of swimming pools and fitness room, tennis and squash courts and hugely welcoming towards dogs - the doggy welcome packs were so thoughtfully prepared with pretty much everything you could need for them! The cottages were very tastefully and well equipped and having a fridge, freezer and washer/dryer were very useful. Our only disappointment was the restaurant that is advertised was very minimally in operation and as it looked and sounded like a great feature, it was a shame that we couldn’t benefit from it. The Valley is a beautiful, quiet, friendly and well-equipped base location - out of the way from the throng of usual tourist areas but easily accessible by car to many of Cornwall’s best attractions. …

Thank you for your comments ab out the team, we are so lucky as family run business to have an amazing team of staff, small but perfectly formed some may say! Its great to see you enjoyed all of our facilities, the indoor and outdoor heated pools are always rather popular with families and the games room is fast becoming a Haven for families with older children that love a competitive game of ping pong or table football! I am so glad your pooch like their welcome pack! We are super doggy friendly here and like to spoil them as much as our people guests! The most wonderful location, accommodation and service. We had a wonderful week at The Valley. The food and amenities were amazing. Beautiful beaches and pubs were all in close distance. We are already looking to return. When we left we were given a lovely goodie bag for our journey home. We have stopped in 5 star accommodation all over the world and I would recommend The Valley to anyone.
