Excellent hotel and taverna with all rooms overlooking the sleepy harbour. The owners and staff are very friendly. Ate at the taverna a number of times, the food was delicious, try the Sea Horse pizza (seafood), fab. They have a boat that sails daily around the coast. Did the bbq trip and sunset tour. Recommended.

There are lots of reasons to vote The Seahorse 5 stars, the comfortable bedrooms with fridges, the very comfortable beds with great bedding, the best views on the Island, the fabulous food served breakfast, lunch and dinner BUT the biggest reason are the people that own, run and work here. I have never met a more friendly, helpful and kind team of people anywhere I have ever stayed before. Dimitri, Stella, Christos, Yannis, Georgia’s and Nessi to mention a few. Thank you for the amazing service you were ALL brilliant. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

What a gem. Demetris, Stella and all their staff go out of their way to give their guests a fantastic experience. The restaurant is by far the best in Molyvos, with a very varied menu. Breakfast was enjoyable and varied, served at table each morning. So much better than the usual buffet in most hotels. If a full English is your thing, then don’t stay here. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Fantastic location in the quaint harbour. We had a very relaxing holiday and look forward to another stay.

We had been in Lesvos for the first time and started our journey from Molyvos Sea Horse Hotel which was wonderful experience, excellent location, large rooms, balcony with sea view, very clean, breakfast satisfied and price-performance ratio is excellent.. The restaurant of the hotel is also quite satisfied with sea food. The owners of the hotel Stella and Dimitris is showing their hospitality and make you feel at home. Thank you again for all.

A hidden gem in a beautiful historic town. The hotel was a perfect base for exploring Molyvos with the picturesque pebble beach within easy walking distance. Situated in the small working harbour, it was a great place to return to in the early evenings to enjoy the buzz of activity and fabulous food. With excellent views from the balcony, it was also a brilliant place to watch the world go by. The hotel room was spotlessly clean. Demetrius and Stella were wonderful hosts. All the people we met there were incredibly friendly. We will definitely be back in the near future.

We had a lovely stay at the sea Horse the owners Dimitri and Stella are the best hosts! The view is fantastic! The rooms are a bit tired and could do with an update and definitely need new pillows but they are clean The only thing we would say was that breakfast was very disappointing, only bread rolls and jam given. We did have some scrambled egg offered but neither of us eat eggs but was not offered an alternative. We stayed three nights and we wished we could of stayed longer.. it’s a great location !

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at the Sea Horse and we had a wonderful holiday. On arrival we were greeted by the owners Demitris and Stella, our room on the top floor had a perfect view of the pretty little harbour, which you could watch all the boats and fishermen come and go. The room had comfy beds and plenty of storage space. I have stayed at many fancy hotels all over the world but it is not all about the star ratings above the door, it’s about the place, the people and the way you are made to feel. The owners and staff go above and beyond normal expectations. Breakfast was a lovely fare, waited on with something different every day on the harbour front. We soon made friends with many regulars who return every year. If you are looking for a traditional hotel, in a romantic setting look no further.

We stayed here a couple of days. The hotel was top of the shelf. The owners were kind, thoughtful and considerate. Both of those things were five stars. The dinners on the other hand were other worldly. The fish was so fresh and prepared by what I can only imagine was a James Beard awarded chef. If the chef was not a James Beard winner than they must not rate Greek chefs. We also had mussels that were the best I have had in 50 years.
