My husband and I enjoyed the most blissful 3 days at the Kandy Samadhi Centre, and would recommend it without reservation. It is truly a special place, where we instantly felt at peace among the staff and gorgeous but simple surroundings. Our room was earthy and beautiful, with a huge antique bathtub and stunning pieces of artwork. On arrival we...

I love everything about this place, especially the AMAZING rooms, which look straight out of Elle Decor magazine with antiques sourced by the Sri Lankan owner. The space, the nature, the rooms, everything is soooooo beautiful, peaceful, special, and unique. The staff were all so attentive, helpful, informative, and just lovely. Unfortunately I arrived with a respiratory infection and they...

If you are looking for a secluded, beautiful spot in the rainforest, with incredible food, great yoga classes, an exceptional staff, and authentic ayurvedic treatments, then this is your spot. The entire staff was at our service the entire stay. We had an incredible room that felt like we were in a castle. The decorations are beautiful, as the owner...

We have just seen the property on the website and thought it will be an amazing place. First of all its not in kandy. It's around 1 and half hour drive. The very first view was really disappointing as the person who called himself the manager was wearing untidy clothes and rest of the staff as well. There was no front desk...

I stayed 3 nights at the Samadhi Center in January and it was one of the top highlights of my trip through Sri Lanka - there really is something special about this place. The moment you enter you feel a deep sense of relaxation and good energy. The center is very well designed with tastefully selected and priceless antiques, the...

This place was recommended to us and maybe that's why our expectations were quite high. Our room was beautiful and we had a really good sleep in there. It COULD be the perfect place with all the tastefull antique interior and the surroundings, BUT the rest didn't come up with it at all. The food was kind of dissapointing. On...

Your first step into Samadhi will be through a remarkably ornate vintage door. It feels as though you're entering a different world; an old world yet unexplored and still full of wonder, unspoiled by human footprints. And you are. Welcome home. The rustic charm of Samhadi makes it deliciously unique. Full of old world antique decor and multi style artwork,...

A very earthy, sort-of-a-retreat experience is offered in Samadhi Centre. They have great rooms and even greater bathing rooms, some open to the forest and the sky! Be prepared to walk up the hill to your room, where the path is lit by fire 'mashaals' and sometimes look up to see a zillion stars! You will also hear the sound...
