Our room at hotel Erato was very clean and spacious. two things that I will mention before commencing on my positive feedback was the sound proofing of the bedrooms and the food. The bedroom door does not seal out noise, hollow cheap door with about a 1 inch gap from the base of the door allows noise to come in(people walking...

We went to the Greek night held by this hotel. It ships in people from other hotels and the price includes a lift there and back, when you book you are told you can go home when you are ready, however this is not the case! The Greek night is held on the rooftop with fantastic views down to the...

We stayed for two weeks at Erato Hotel & couldn't fault it. Dinner was very tasty and varied, traditional greek food, my other half is half Cypriot and he raved about the food! Breakfast could have more variety but that led us to visiting the local bakery and getting delicious and reasonable sandwiches at lunch time. Local shop was also...

a small and clean family hotel in a quiet region of Heracleion. The served food is so delicious, original gourmet; and staff are super friendly and caring. Greek night was unforgettable. I and my Mom had fabulous time. Hotel is so close to bus stop, which is taking you to city center within 10 minutes; and just one stop away...

We got a fairly cheap holiday, so weren't expecting much. We were happy that the rooms were clean, although they were a little run down and dark. Not a lot of natural light in the room. The pool area was fine, it is quite small and only about 10 loungers available. We were half board, the breakfast wasn't great. There...

The hotel is close to a mini market and has a wonderful pool. Room was big but a bit gloomy. Staff is friendly. It's a bit far from the sea and the nearby aquarium, but given its prices it should be a good choice for an extended stay in Heraklion.

The hotal is quite small, around 30 rooms. It is family run, refurbished around 2013, and has great character. Pricing when we stayed was not expensive, and it was great value. Plus points: Staff were terrific. The food was fairly simple, but with plenty of choices for each meal (we took breakfast and dinner. Buffet-style, multiple courses, different each day....

The hotel is 3 star & is excellent value for money. The rooms are functional & kept spotlessly clean. The food is traditional Greek and very tasty. No fries, burgers or chicken nuggets. The building is very airy with a lovely pool which is cleaned regularly. The staff are definitely 5-star - nothing is too much trouble - for example, we...

The staff at the hotel were very attentive and friendly and really made our holiday! Every evening the food was excellent and very traditionally Greek. Our room had a small balcony and was cleaned every day. Being central it is a good base for exploring. Our only regret is that we left before the Greek night - we wanted to...
