The very best of this hotel were its staff members, from the receptionists to the staff in the restaurant to the cleaning staff. All incredibly helpful, nice, friendly and generous. I spent some 10 days here and in the end I almost felt like they knew me and were family. They also provided me with gluten free options for every breakfast, cause I cannot eat it. Only minor things is that the noise from the airport is really loud, but that is unavoidable at this location (I could nevertheless sleep at night with the windows closed). Room was always clean and very spacious. Internet super fast. We rented a scooter next to the hotel for very cheap price and went around with it quite easily, also to the west coast of the island. Food in the restaurant was ok, but in accordance to what I payed per night, definitely reasonable. Overall, I would certainly come back.

Where to start. Day one we wake up and see the swimming pool is empty. This will be filled 4 days later but told we are a week early to use it as the season does not start until may 1st. There is a plunge pool cordoned off full of litter and dirty water. Our room while clean has a TV playing 5 local channels not the satellite TV advertised. The fridge might aswell be a heater. There is a kettle but no cups or complimentary tea or coffee.

On to the main issue. Over a hundred kids on a school trip totally out of control and up until all hours acting like little gangsters with boom boxes blasting day and night and total disregard for anyone and everyone.

We never managed a good night's sleep, in part due to the noise but the double" bed that was actually two single beds pushed together was rock hard and played its part.

Cleaners and waiting on staff were absolutely fantastic but only one of the 5 receptionists actually seemed to care about being pleasent and we often felt looked down on by the other 4 who were at best unhelpful and quite rude.

The area itself while beautiful in its surroundings is very very limited there are a couple of restaurants and that's about it. A bus ran every 20 minutes to corfu Town which was well priced at 1.2 euros but the town itself again while beautiful offered very little to do outside of drink coffee and eat and perhaps enjoy a beer or two but be warned 99% of the eateries provide no prices and seem to pull tourist prices out naturally. 5 euros was common for a small coffee. 5-6 euros for a 330ml beer and forget spirits. The cheapest single vodka I saw all the time I was there was 8 euros.

Back to the hotel. We stayed bed and breakfast and while the continental breakfast was adequate along with the usual bacon and eggs it was literally the same thing every day. The cooked goods apart from the eggs very low grade and after 3 days we were sick of it.

Photo included was about the only good thing about the area what you is the entire surrounding areas of the hotel barring 2 roads leading north through villages. Roads across the water had no paving and we deemed far too dangerous to walk.

We visited at the start of April, we are still staying at the hotel at the time of writing, its off peak and the season is barely started. The rooms are very good and very clean but as we are so early in the season there is nothing to do in or around the hotel. The additional fitness suite available at the nearby hotel isn't available as they arent up and running yet, the pool isn't available or filled up until May, the snacks available during the day consist of one tray of sandwiches and some small pastries and for non drinkers the drink options are limited. However where this hotel is lacking the most is in the food it offers. We've never been to an all inclusive where the choice is so limited. It was so poor we ordered a pizza last night after dinner. The area has very little to do but the Airport noises are not as bad as I expected. We still have a couple of days left and hopefully things improve.

The hotel provides amazing value for money services. I cannot fault it. I am surprised with other reviews here, for us it was an amazing 7 days holidays. All staff offer genuine hospitallity services, our room was cleaned daily and the laydies where always with the smile in their faces and profesional. Reception and catering staff was always there to help , even late at night when one night we forgot to get some water, Sotiris brought some at our room. The hotel is situated at a very convinient for sightseing spot just outside Corfu Town, and on the most appealing corner , just above Pontikonisi. The bus runs until very late every 20 minutes to and from Town centre. Breakfast was reach and always well taken care off. We had dinnner two times and the variety was good. Nothing to complain of, surely on our list if and when we are back, thanks guys!!

What i can say our holiday was ruined by this hotel.
This should be advertised as a hostel for teenagers not a 4* hotel allowing the students to party and carry on until the early hours of the morning and the response i got to my complaint was "now look its their holiday too" is discusting. We were moved rooms which didnt help as we were put in a room right above the party.
The rooms were basic no plug for the bath and the pool was empty when we arrived and when filled was told no we cant use it until the 1st of may even though it was 24 degrees outside.
The only members of staff we found to be pleasant and welcoming were the cleaning staff, restaurant staff if you can call it a restaurant and one lady on reception with red hair i cant remember her name.
We booked flights to return home 2 days early and a complaint has been made

I always check reviews before holidays and I have been left extremely dissapointed by trip advisors reviews on this hotel. The hotel itself is lovely nice pool area maids in everyday cleaning rooms and fresh towels but my god what a boring hotel. As soon as you walk in nice big dance floor with seating for entertainment I thought our first night we diddnt see a soul in the bar area I asked reception where was the entertainment they looked at me like I had 3 heads. They do not have any entertainment on of a night not even music to drink too.
Secondly then there’s the food I felt malnourished for the week we stayed absolutely disgraceful we paid for half board and basically ate breakfast and had to buy food for the whole week else where. If you never liked fish or cold sloppy pork you where out of luck the only other option was boiled spaghetti and a tomato sauce to pour on top. We filled ourselves up on ice cream to give us some calories.
I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I can honestly say this hotel as put me off every returning to Greece again never mind corfu was the most boring week away ever.

The town is a 10 minuet taxi drive where there are restaurants but again no nightlife really all just small shops and food places.

Just don’t go to this part of the island full stop keep it central.

It didnt live up to our expectations. This is not a 4star hotel, maybe it was 50years ago, but not by todays standards. Everything is old and smells old. They placed us in a room with 2 small beds, one beside the other, on wheels and easily movable simply by laying on it, not suitable for a couple. The room was smelling unpleasantly, it had spiders, and the balcony was dirty. All in all a subpar experience.

Response from Giorgos Orfanos, Owner at Ariti Grand Hotel
Responded 25 May 2023
Dear 765giorgosv Thank you very much for taking some time out to rate and review our hotel. In the light of your aspect for your recent stay, not being to the standards we thrive to reach, we are very disappointed for not accomplishing your needs during your stay. We would have been happy to take corrective actions if your frustration with your residence was mentioned while you were here, while even though we accommodate many guests, our mission is to personalize our services, and make every individual guest happy and longing for return, in what we call, their home away from home here in Corfu. Having said that, we would be excited to be given a second chance in the future and have a new opportunity to share with you our genuine hospitality principles. Until then, take care Best Regards Hotel Management

This hotel is superb for what we paid to stay. At the start of the week, breakfast was as good as places like the vale near Cardiff and Morgans in Swansea, however as it filled up the chefs struggled to replenish certain dishes but still very good. The all inclusive option is excellent is you enjoy a few beers throughout the day. Lunch was good. If you like salads etc you will not be disappointed. Dinner again was good if not great, I have not eaten a chip in the week I’ve been here. Unfortunately staffing is at a minimum (due to covid I think)but those here are working their butts off and doing everything to enhance everyone’s stay. Close to airport which is a plus not a hinderance. Corfu town is walkable but y walk when local bus is frequent and cheap. Will try to come back soon as really enjoyed and if you come all inclusive there has to be something wrong with you not to enjoy.

the hotel did not live up to the standard at all based on its name "ariti grand hotell". would rather say they were a 1-2 star hotel. the food was a disaster without exaggerating really disgusting, we ate out every night except the first night. the rooms were clean but they felt like they hid the dirt or more specifically the holes in the beds, broken moldings. no soap just small soaps, no liquid. for the price you pay it's a disaster, admittedly the staff were nice, not their fault. but as previously written the same food every day, feels like those who are left over are served again the juices or water. the water smelled of the scratch.

The rooms are very dated and have a very unpleasant smell of damp coming from the aircon, and also drainage when sat outside on the balcony. The smell was the tipping point for me, it was really quite unbearable. It done is for the night, but I would be so very upset if I was here for my whole holiday.

We had breakfast included, and though there was a range of hot and cold food, the standard was not to my liking, but I could see many people happily eating the food.

Front desk staff were very lovely and helpful.
