Stayed there for a week. Great view, clean and spacious room, good price….nothing else to ask. A plus is the swimming pool which may be a little small but it is cleaned daily. Mr Antonis is really trying to offer you a great holiday by providing the most. If you decide to stay in Anaxos this is the place. Don’t expect any luxury but what you see is what you get….something not standard in hotel industry.

We have stayed in several accommodations in Anaxosos and all have been lovely but Michelle’s is the place we now return to year on year.
Good sized room, wonderful views due to its elevated position, quiet and you are looked after so well by Georgia, Michelle and Tony, a family run accommodation where nothing is too much trouble.
There is also a pool if this is your preference and lovely beach is a 5 min walk down the Lane.
A little gem, give it a go you won’t be disappointed 🇬🇷

laze your day away tanning by a springwater pool, drinking chilled beer and enjoying Tonys superb omlettes.Sound boring, then dont worry, come nite time everything changes. No it dont,a quiet drink in michelles bar,a stroll around the village, some great food, back to michelles for a nitecap and bed by midnite. If you want to be kept awake by banging karaoke, noisy drunken youths then bugger off to Malia,if you want to relax, take in local culture and laze away your time then Michelles stidios is the place to go.Lesvos contrary to myth is not full of lesbians, unless you visit Eressos,it is an unspoilt paradise.Stay at Michelle studios and if you dont fall for the charm of the place or succombe to Tonys charm then i dont know what you want for 300 quid.d

My friend and I booked a last minute vacation with Apollo Denmark.
We arrived at noon and found that the hotel was very understated by the travel agency on their homepage. We were very surprised that the hotel was so close to the beach and the town.
The hotel is very well maintained and clean with exception of the pool that got a little sandy on the bottom during the week. Tony, the owner, is very pleasant and humoristic. He keeps the hotel as it is his own home.
We did not have a balcony with a view, but we were invited for drinks on a Swedish couples terrace on the 2nd floor. The terrace was huge and had a fantastic view over Anaxos and the beautiful sunset over the sea. So that is the place to stay
The Hotel is located on the main road in Anaxos, the noise from the traffic was not bad mostly due to the speed limit being only 30 km/h.
In connection with the hotel there is a little tavern serving sandwich, omelettes and refreshments. Georgia is running the tavern and seemed a little surprised that someone wanted to buy something. But she made a decent omelette.
The best food is found on Restaurant Sarandos located 100 meters from Michelle’s on the main road. Try their stuffed tomatoes or musakka. Keep away from the restaurents om the beach front. They are both expensive and dull.
All in all a very good vacation with sun, beach, excellent food and a cosy relaxing feeling. Be aware, there is NO ATM in Anaxos, you have to go to Petra(3 km) to get cash

Stayed with Tony at Michelles Studios for the 3rd time in 5 years. You cannot book through an agent as Tony is now with an Eastern European and a Greek travel company. He will also arrange return journeys to and from the airport so don't worry about all that, he picked us up himself this year. Its madness that a British Tour Operator does not take advantage of the place and sign it up to be honest. The view over the village to the sea is stunning and its only a short 30 metre walk up a quite steep hill to the rooms from the main road. The two most lively (still quiet , well most of the time!) restaurants/bars in the resort are a 3 minute stroll away so location is excellent, 10 minutes very leisurely stroll to the beach aswell and a minute to the bus stop. The rooms are good basic Greek and clean and the pool and pool area is very clean aswell with, as I have just said, lovely views over the roof tops of Anaxos. Tony sorted us with a room at very short notice in the main Greek holiday when there were no rooms to be had anywhere, but I expected nothing else from the guy in all honesty. He is a gem. As I say you can't book the place through a British agent but you probably could through me,,,,saying that do I want everyone to find this place???? Oh go on then! Drop me a mail if I can help.

Lovely, clean, cosy, perfect rooms, well equipped kitchenette, sweet terrace, great pool, fab views. I'll be back, as i know many others are, and they are no fools. When you find something as perfect and reasonably priced as this you don't want the whole world to know in case you can't get a booking again! But Tony deserves fab reviews for his apartments and studios. I definitely recommend Michelles Apartments ( named after Tony's niece ) especially the room just steps from the pool and with a lovely rose-scented little terrace ( I kid you not! ) where i contentedly sipped my ouzo and water.
See you again next year Tony!

Friendly and communicative hosts and a lovely apartment. The small complex is very quiet but feels safe, with someone on hand 24/7. A short walk to the beach and an even shorter walk to some excellent places to eat and drink. I loved that the apartment had a big double bed and it was very comfortable. The shower-room was typical of the Greek Islands and I had no complaints. Cleanliness was outstanding and room was serviced regularly. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely appartment, gorgeous views, beautiful clean pool. Tony, Georgia and Michelle are so welcoming and helpful we would recommend them to anyone.
Anaxos is quiet but really nice and relaxing. If you want to can get to Petra, Molyvos and Eftalou by bus.

Sorry didnt answer about the super market, a very small shop in sarandos very close by and another a few minutes on. Don't know what age your teenagers are but it's a very safe place for them to have a stroll. Petra is also nice but much busier. Molivos is stunning. We always stay in Anaxos, have done for 10 years.
