We had a wonderful time. We hired a car directly from the airport and car hire is a great recommendation. You can hire cars at the hotel too. The location is perfect if you want to stay in a nice quiet town with options to go places. It is a nice family run business. The staff are very friendly nothing is too much bother. If you want good tips about the island and places to visit, George is your man. They have a sister holiday grand Nefelli which is 2 mins from the beach and you can make use of their facilities. I love the fact that the hotel is so central. Each room has a balcony and there are places at the front and rear to sit out in the open too.

This is a great hotel. I liked it so much when I visited in 2022, that I decided to return in 2023. The staff are very pleasant and accomodating. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The balconies are spacious. The area is great for dining and visiting the best beaches of the island. It is a 1 minute walk to the Ktel station to connect you to Lefkada Town to return to Athens. I look forward to returning.

Not worth it. Extremely overpriced for what it offers. Dirty shower and extremely small room. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Do a favour to yourself and book somewhere else. Absolutely not worth it!

If you go to this hotel be aware to clarify EVERYTHING price wise in advance. My experience and I see from other reviews I'm not alone is the owner tries to rip of his customers where ever he can. Don't book direct with the hotel, check out prices on other sites before you do, normally booking directly with an hotel the prices can be very keen, not in this instance. We went as a group and used the hotel minibus for trips, but rather than charging a fixed amount he charged each of us separately and an extortionate amount. As well as over charging for the rooms as per other sites and then tried to charge extra for breakfast! On the plus side, the rooms were nice and clean although a good sea view they aren't, more a glimpse in the distance. Breakfast was nice but not special. The staff; George and Raphaella and another girl at reception were all lovely and very helpful and kind but the experience was definitely marred by the last day where we spent most of it trying to sort out the convoluted overcharging of the bill and waiting around for the owner to handle the situation. He did take the breakfasts off and money off the taxi but not enough and kept trying to convince us that a taxis would cost more but on shopping around this turned out to be untrue. (originally he was trying to charge nearly 1000 euros for the bus) I would definitely not go back as I don't support businesses that treat their customers this way.…

I looked back and wrote a review about this hotel in 2017 - but absolutely must write another one. My family of four stayed at the Grand Theoni in 2017, 2018, 2019, missed 2020 due to COVID, 2021, 2022, and have our reservation to return this summer. As you can see - it's the only place to stay in Vasiliki - and we love this hotel and Lefkada so much, that we return there each year! The hotel is modern with comfortable beds, is sparkling clean, and the food is awesome! We love the pool! The breakfast and coffee are wonderful. The sister property, the Grand Nefeli is super close with a beautiful beach where you can learn to windsurf and you've never seen a more beautiful beach in the late afternoon! The Grand Theoni team is absolutely first class. If you are lucky enough to book this hotel - do it. …

2nd visit, went last year. Really friendly and helpful staff no task is any trouble. A good hearty breakfast. Nice location in the village. Very clean. They will provide extras like shuttle or taxi service but there will be a charge and it is worth clarifying the charge before you commit. Recommend you book on line on the hotel's website for the very best deals.

We were more than happy there. Very nice and friendly staff. Perfect room service. Everything clean and modern. Great location. Quiet room. Great breakfasts and dinners. Probably the best choice to stay in Vassiliki.

Clean. newly renovated , cozy. good AC and blackout shades comfortable beds, breakfast simple but good .coffee could be stronger. (hint) some homemade sweets, friendly. happy staff. Good restaurant recommendations. Our room was a Marionette perfect for the younger ones

The hotel is placed really central, all shops and restaurants are really close. Personal was nice. Room was really small and the noice isolation was really bad, you can hear everything, ppl from the other room as like in the same room as you! Internet was extremly poor and the room was not clean at all!
