Stayed in a family apartment (sleeps 6) which was clean and spacious. Great kitchen facilities (even had a coffee maker!) , fridge was nice and cold. We stayed in August and found we didn't need aircon, Skiathos seems to get much cooler at night compared with other Greek Islands we have visited. Loved the fact we didn't have to compete... More

Good bar, friendly staff. Rooms very clean and comfortable, we were very pleased with the quilts, we really needed them on an evening in bed. Towels were immaculate and bins emptied daily which is unusual these days. Thank you George and Otis!

Cheapest bar on the island, George and Fotis excellent hosts. Out of the way so very peaceful, a bit dated but you get what you pay for. Plenty of good restaurants on the main road about 5 min walk away and a torch is useful. The quiz night is now compared by guests as the Olympic reps can't be bothered... More

Great place and people...The best bar on the Island. Very clean everywhere and shops local if you want to eat in but the restaurant's are such a great price who wants to bother. We have been back here 5 / 6 times and never gets boring always new beaches to try out and new places to go. People are so... More

Just returned from another great holiday in Skiathos and as usual we stayed at the Amalia Apartments. The apartments are basic Greek accommodation but they have everything you'll need and we've always had a good night's sleep there. The hosts George and Fotis are fantastic and will play any music you desire and mix any drink concoctions you request. With... More

S/C means S/C and we were most pleased with our cheap holiday there. Staff and folk everywhere were most helpful and polite. Good base to explore numerous nearby beaches. Opted not to have car and walked to most ranging from 15 mins to superb Koukounaries and 40 mins across to quieter selection to north and west.Very frequent all day bus... More

We have just returned from 2 weeks at the Amalia apartments and were pleasantly surprised - the photos we had previously seen on trip advisor don't do it justice at all! It is rated as a 2 star property yet I think (after staying in many 2 star properties in Greece in the past) it is underated! It is more... More

We stayed at this distressing pit for a whole fortnight and what can I say, We WILL certainly not be returning again. When our Olympic coach dropped us off we were given a very basic map to get to the apartments which was about a half mile walk including cars wizzing past you creating a storm of dust which was... We booked these apartments 2 weeks before we travelled , never been Skiathos before didn't know what to expect , apartments basic but clean and George n Otis couldn't be more friendlier , only thing I would say is you do need a torch at night especially when walking down the track back to apartments , lots of lovely restaurants...
