We arrived here in rain and the rain turned into some sort of hurricane, so as the track in and out of the complex was flooded we were pretty much stranded until Monday. Not a good start but no ones fault. The guys behind the bar/restaurant were brilliant and managed to keep us

We had a good stay here despite the changeable weather. The hotel staff work very hard to maintain an engaging approach to the guests. Greek night was fantastic. The staff are very happy and very helpful. We would recommend this hotel.

Loved this place, the area is beautiful, we were a little worried that it might be too quiet (there were 7 of us to keep entertained), esp at the end of the season but the bus into the main town takes only 25 mins and they run constantly - really easy and cheap. The place was a

Returned to Myrtia apartments for the second year running. It was just as good as ever with a lovely picturesque secluded location and an excellent on site restaurant. V and his staff make it a lovely place to relax. Whilst the local beach at Koukanaries is in my view being

How far is coach journey.from.airport.
Picturesque half hour or so journey, luggage goes separate - so don’t pack anything in your cases that you might want as soon as you get there. Short walk down a path from the main road , but well worth it when you get there , enjoy!

It was our first time this year on Skiathos and we did find it a little pricey (or at least not cheap). And yes, there is a very large exclusive hotel complex now on Banana beach which is VERY expensive (20 euros I think it was for beach beds). But we found lots of other delightful beaches within an hour's walk of Koukounaries (about 7 euros for beds) and thoroughly enjoyed the very traditional Greek feeling in the village and on the island. It was our first visit to Greece for about 15 years.

Hi, there is a balcony with a small table and 4 chairs divided by a low partition from your neighbours, along with a wire clothes dryer. There was a small patio garden for ground floor rooms. I believe a Hairdryer and Iron can be rented for a small fee from Reception.

Hi , most self catering places you will find charge you extra for air conditioning . As for places to eat well the island is your oyster , brilliant . The Myrtia itself , great restaurant especially the barbeque on a Sunday evening . In Kouk Ilias de Orchard a.k.a . the runway or Captain Michaelis , the list goes on . You will find your own favourite places to eat and also to visit . Good luck .
