The hosts helped us throughout our three day stay. They delivered us to a famous restaurant when we couldn't get a taxi because a cruise ship had just docked to the island taking away all taxis. They also helped us rent a car for a good deal.

The Hotel is bit dated, fornitures are old and airconditioning is noysy ...But this is the charme of a Greek holiday! What is really upsetting is the breakfast buffet showing a lack of care for their guests: any handmade cakes or biscuits, no daily bread, no fresh fruits, just fruit in can and bad quality juices tasting worse than a drug...Even honey is in the low quality small single portion boxes...this is not Greece...is just saving money! Likely yougurt is the only edible food...sorry but rates are too high for such a buffet! One more point any car service to downtown not even once a day. Ciao Francesca

My wife and I spent almost 2 weeks in Gold Sun on Patmos in July. Annulla and Stavros, the hosts really made the stay very nice. Superb view on the bay of Grikos and the sea. Very nice breakfast every day on the terrace and good air conditioned room. Patmos will never be forgotten. Best regards, Fred

We have spent one week for business and after 2 weeks for holidays. Excellent an warm hospitality of the owners of the hotel. An incredible moment: the breakfast allows to begin the day upon Grikos bay. When it's clear we can see the islands of Leros and Kalymnos. Very nice area for our professional training Beach and restaurants at 100 meters (the best restaurant of Patmos is at 200m) Don't forget to go to Profitas Ilias mount for sunset. It is at 6mn from the hotel. You can observe Ikaria, Samos and Naxos. Sometimes Tinos. Our group has enjoyed this trip. Perfect!
