Along the northern coastlines of the picturesque Praslin Island lies Pirogue Lodge, a charming, family owned small hotel consisting of 6 standard rooms, each facing the sea. Nicely decorated with simple wooden furniture and paintings from our local artists, each room radiates the creole serenity and calm. A private verandah with relaxing chairs is there to capture the azure ocean view.

We stayed for 5 nights in November. Our stay was very enjoyable. The hotel rooms are large and very comfortable and the bathrooms are also large. The pool area is clean and comfortable. There are only six rooms but the restaurant is large and popular. Rightly so the food is

The hotel's staff is really amazing, everyone is super nice and ALL our requests were met. Whatever problem outside the hotel we might have had - they always tried to help us, never showed a "not our problem" attitude. The best service I've ever experienced! The rooms are very

Being a budget hotel you´ll be surprised of quality and service, Maid looks over room twice a day. Close to beach, and lounger can be carried down for you. Good and large breakfast buffet. Good food by and large. But we also went out. Service and friendly staff, no hassles at

We had stayed here for 2 nights. When we had arrived they provided us a user id and password with a validity of 2 hours only for the entire stay but the user id was not valid. Then I had to ask them for another user id which was working but that was valid for only 2 hrs. After

Dear Sir, Thank you very much for the remarks. It is very unfortunate that we got such review from you. I am convinced that we did try our best to provide you with the best of service. To base your whole review on only one aspect of our service is very sad. Should you have read the hotel policy when booking your stay at our hotel you could have easily seen that it clearly states that wifi is in fact a paid service. Out of courtesy we do offer all our guests 2 free hours of wifi service per day; hence your review is not a fair and just one. During your stay my colleagues did their utmost to assist you...including preparation of the coconuts that was bought from the street to allow you to get the coconut water. She even provided you will all the information about Praslin which I'm sure helped during your stay on the island. It is very unfortunate that while we went the extra mile to ensure that your stay on Praslin is a memorable one, you never got to appreciate it!

Hi I stayed at Pirogue Lodge one month ago and I will try to answer some of your questions. When you arrive at the airport in the morning I would fly with Air Seychelles to Praslin it's about 20 min. You can take the ferry but it leave Mahe around 7.30 or 10.30 and you have to take a taxi to the harbour. The ferry takes 1 hour. The hotel can send a car to pick you up at the airport or at the harbour on Praslin the transfer is apx 30 EUR. Check-in time is 2.00 pm. The hotel have 6 double rooms 3 on the ground and 3 on first floor. All of them have the same standard and are good in size with AC, safe, minibar, kettle and TV etc. Very close to Anse Volbert beach apx 20 meters.
