Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A few days before we should go to Lela's House we spoke with a couple that had second thoughts of this place and booked a nearby hotel insted of going to Lela's.
We were glad we hadn't! Lela is in our opinion an overenthousiastic woman who wants best for her guests. We had our studio on the first floor, facing the sea from two balconys. The beds were fine and the small kitchen was only used to boil some eggs and water for our coffee. We were on the road the whole day and after our dinner we sat on the balcony enjoying some wine.
The garden is a small birdparadise itself.
We could stay here a full vacation and maybe we will. Most of the island can be reached from here and in Molyvos you have everything you need.
Two tips: the lights outside are realy blinding when you enter the property. Maybe when you rearrange them in a way that they shine from the ground up in the trees they won't be blinding you. The second tip is maybe a ventilator on the ceiling above the bed. It's better against musquitos.
A great stay here!

We arrived to rooms cold enough to see your breath in. Finally figured out how to get the itty bitty wall unit on an it never got the room past 60 degrees the entire stay. Owner berated us for devising a way to leave it on when we left to volunteer and pitched a fit. We actually hid the remote unit so she wouldn't turn it off, then she threatened to charge us $90 for it! Dark, dangerous old building. No outside lights, irrigation tubes to trip over on the walk ways. Rags for towels that were never washed. It was like indoor camping. I found a wallet in a drawer from a previous guest with 50 Swiss Francs in it and it just sat there not being returned until I found the guy on Facebook. No sense of hospitality here folks you are 100% out of luck. No phones, no close store for food, no restaurants nearby. Just plain miserable stay.
