Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Family friendly hotel by the sea with a large swimming pool. Big rooms and frindly staff. There is a very good restaurant and a hot spa nearby. Very clean sea but stony. If you like sand you need to drive to petra which is the closest.

Id start by saying I would stay again simply because the family atmosphere was great.....and being close to malyvos is a bonus for anyone, given the village is beautiful during the day and amazing at night........nice restaraunts amazing views and a really wonderful village atmosphere. We ended our Saturday night in congas beach club, a nice balance of club and bar at night and when we couldn't get a taxi at 430 in the morning a local gave us a lift because he new the owners of the malyvos 2 and he would not see us stranded.....wonderful friendly place......the hotel itself is a little out from malyvos for me, but idyllic spot opposite a small shingle beach....it's a little tired but high on family atmosphere and has a 1970s charm from me.......personally when I go back I will look for a higher quality accommodation, but I feel disloyal givn the people are fantastic......but on balance I'll have to say it needs a revamp....

On my way to the hotel from the airport and on leaving Molyvos heading out on the coast road I began to wonder if I had made the right choice! Driving past some super looking places we came almost to the end of the road and the hotel is on the right set back but right in front of the sea, immediately the tranquility of the place hit me, its a charming hotel showing signs of age but this should not deter anyone from staying. Ample car parking spaces, massive sea water pool which is fabulous. Large open reception areas rarely used. The rooms were of a good size, very clean and amazingly comfortable beds, really nice bathrooms and shower. The staff during my three week stay were so friendly and could not do enough for you. The beach is right in front of the hotel but a short walk brings you to a long section of stoney coves, very quiet and amazing for swimming & snorkeling. Two tavernas very close to the hotel, the nearest one is superb about 50m away, the other one is on the hillside on the beach with great views. The hotel rarely got busy and often I was on my own at the pool. You can walk into Molyvos, it takes about 40 minutes buts its a superb walk, good bus service from just outside the taverna running into Molyvos then Petra and finally into Anaxos, plenty of taxis available. I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely unspoilt hotel, the location and above all the peace and quiet.

I chose to stay at Molivos II while attending a local yoga course in Eftalou. The hotel is dated but this is what I liked most; quaint clean rooms with the basics (air condition, hair dryer, towels, linens, daily cleaning), large airy public spaces and spacious rooms with balconies. The daily buffet breakfast included in the room price was plentiful consisting of local cheeses, fruits and vegetables, home made cheese pita pie, meats, cereals, yogurt, eggs and much more. Most of all the open arm hospitality of the staff was the highlight who were always asking how to accommodate your needs and were always available. Peppi, both Tony's, Maria and others all made me feel like the hotel was my home. Of course, the beach is literally steps from the hotel as is the hot springs, 2 restaurants and Eftalou Yoga. A local bus has daily timetables which is limited to day times but hiring a taxi is very easy and economical. It cost 6-7 euro one way from Eftalou to Molivos. It is also a nice 40 minute walk with beautiful scenery enoute to Molivos. If am in this area will stay at Molivos II again !!

I really like this hotel. And even more because of it reasonable rates. The room I was in was very spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the lemon trees of the gardens and towards the swimming pool. The bathroom was large and shower very good. The room itself was clean and had lots of facilities including fridge, microwave and cooking rings. Breakfast in the morning was whilst limited sufficient. Only grudge that I had to pay additional for the Greek coffee! Hotel staff are professional and polite. Hotel is located opposite a lovely beach which gave me the opportunity to escape to utter peace.

Would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is on a beach after a few kilometers from Molyvos. You have to cross the road to access the beach which is covered with sea weeds. The hotel does not offer any amenities on the beach. The hotel is clean, but old. There was not a bite to eat when we arrived at noon and there is nothing in walking distance. Breakfast is served in the morning. The staff was frendly and helpful.

I felt very welcome and well taken care of by friendly and service minded staff. Beautiful location by the beach, perfect with walking distance to the hot springs and the yoga studio. Quiet and peaceful.

+ Very good position, sea front/view, quiet, very nice and big enough pool, cheap, close to Molyvos (in case you have a car, you should choose it instead of an expensive one in Molyvos)
- Poor breakfast, no elevator, air condition stops after some time

We spet a week for holydays. Nice hotel with pool near the beach (yust over the non trafic road). In proxymithy of hot spring Etofalu. Food good but not many choices. Beeing there we recomend to visit taverna Vafios in the same named vlage - magnific sunset and excelent lamb and the vilage of Skala Skamias with excelent beaches nearby and tavernas with good sea food.
