A hotel/apartment should first and foremost be a place to relax and sleep, which we simply could not do, hence the reluctant lower rating. Though not the owners' fault, the noise level from other guests every single night was intolerable, even with earplugs, and really did spoil our stay. Screaming children running around communal corridors at midnight and the room upstairs CONSTANTLY scraping furniture around and slamming drawers until 4am. I understand people are having fun on their holidays, but this is not reasonable or acceptable behaviour. We tried knocking on their door and posting a note but they ignored us. We were on the verge of tears due to sleep deprivation and nearly went and slept in our car! Might help if the hosts put felt pads on furniture legs to reduce screeching sound on tiled floors and introduced a general respectable behaviour policy e.g. no noise after 10pm. Also despite being in one of the more expensive apartments (2 bedroom), directly in front of us was an ugly scrap area with spare pool loungers, rubbish and even an old shoe! Would be nice if this were landscaped. On the plus side, nice sea view from the balcony, and the largest bathroom we had in any of the places we stayed around Greece. Room cleaned regularly and the cleaner even did our washing up! Wifi worked well and there was Netflix etc on the TV. Comfortable beds and pillows. Very nice and helpful hosts and really handy to have pool bar at sister hotel Lido Sofia next door for drinks and snacks (it's a steep walk back if you go into town). We went a few times to enjoy the sunset. Free parking very handy but beware it is down a VERY steep incline.…
We came here last September on a last minute booking to room 1, & had such a great time that we returned again & here at the moment in room 2, both top floor detached apartments. The views are simply stunning, the balcony huge & the one bed apartment very clean & well equipped. Sofia & Yourgos very hospitable & friendly hosts, they work at Lido Sofia just up the hill. Only thing to mention is that the apartments are not suitable for anyone with walking difficulty unless they had a car, as it's a steep hill to & from the resort centre & beach, & quite a few steps to the wonderful infinity pool, which we've had on a couple of occasions to ourselves. Hopefully be back next year.
It was an amazing experience. Great location, in front of the beach, with hospitable people and magnificent view. The rooms were very clean with beautiful decoration. I will definitely visit it again.
Great view of the sea, sunsets and the beautiful rugged coast. Lovely, friendly people who want you to have a wonderful holiday. Great facilities, kitchenette, air con and soft furnishings. Most of the time you have the pool to yourself and there are good quality beds/umbrellas. We plan to return soon.
Clean, well situated, great staff, we even had the whole pool to ourselves two of the days. I can't think of any issue other than we had to leave at the end! We booked two stays on this trip, Lido Paradise and also a luxury villa in Nissaki and I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed both places. I would definitely return here again.
