Our group of six friends returned to Sebastian’s in June this year, having enjoyed a fabulous holiday in 2019. Again, we shared two spacious and well appointed apartments with terraces. Each one had a good-sized bathroom with walk-in shower, a large kitchen area plus two decent bedrooms. The rooms were serviced to a high level each day and towels were changed.

We ate breakfast each day in the Taverna, choosing our favourites from a menu which included traditional Greek Fayre such as yoghurt with honey and fruit/ Greek-style scrambled eggs/ pancakes with fruit and yoghurt; traditional English breakfasts plus niche choices such as Eggs Benedict or avocado topped with poached eggs. They were more than happy to create sharing dishes and extras such as the hollandaise sauce we requested. No request we made was too big or too small.

Sebastian’s remains a restaurant of some note and enjoys an excellent reputation in Agios Gordios for good reason. We chose to eat here most evenings and we savoured every morsel. On one occasion, many of us chose the slow cooked belly pork and on another, lamb Kleftico. For dinner one evening, I chose sea bass which I could only describe as divine. The meals we ate during the rest of our stay were equally delicious, varied and exciting.

This is very much a family business with Sebastian and Teresa being high profile and very approachable. The staff here are friendly, helpful, accommodating and highly professional in equal measure. The welfare of guests is central to their agenda and they do their best to ensure that all their visitors enjoy the best possible holiday. I recommend Sebastian’s Hotel and Taverna unreservedly.

Teresa and Sebastian are the greatest hosts, having a keen eye for every detail, making sure that their guests are having a perfect stay. The rooms look even better in reality than they do in the pictures, everything’s clean and tidy and a proof of good taste. The breakfast is excellent, you can chose from various options and it is served in the hotel’s picturesque patio. The location is excellent, Agio Gordios beach is at a 3 minute walk from the hotel. There are plenty of shops and tavernas nearby, but you can also enjoy a tasty dinner in the hotel’s restaurant - one of the best tavernas on the island. No doubt, our stay with Sebastian’s hotel was one of the nicest experiences and we hope to return soon.

We’ve visited Sebastian’s Taverna many times, but this was our first time staying here, & it was truly fabulous.
We had a twin/double room, really nicely furnished, brilliant bathroom with the best shower ever!
It had a balcony where we could see the sea, & the glorious sunsets, aircon that worked perfectly, the room was well equipped with a fridge, even a Nespresso machine, kettle, safe, hair dryer all included in the price.
Whilst we didn’t expect it, our room was serviced everyday, brilliant.
We are so pleased to have stayed here, & so impressed we’re coming back in September, & have booked for September 2023!
I forgot to mention the staff are brilliant, we even got shown the kitchen, we felt very welcome, without a doubt it was superb, & we can’t wait to be back.

When we arrived the taxi driver said welcome to paradise and he wasn’t wrong. Fabulous accommodation spotlessly clean the restaurant is amazing every dish was delicious the breakfasts are probably the best choice we’ve ever had. The actually restaurant is so pretty. Location is perfect a short walk to the beach but the star of the show are the staff Teresa, Sebastian and every member of staff we met were very welcoming and went out of their way to help us enjoy our holiday. The only downside was the week went far too fast we’ll definitely be returning. Thank you for a fabulous holiday we look forward to seeing you all next year xx

We first visited this beautiful hotel in 2019 and rebooked straight away, unfortunately due to Covid we have been unable to return until now. A little gem, this hotel delivers fabulous service and has the friendliest staff you could wish for. Everyone here is so welcoming and everything is fine with the biggest smile. The dining area is simply stunning, set outside under luscious vines and provides a gorgeous setting for every meal.
The food served here is absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend the Kleftiko and the slow cooked belly pork in particular but all the food we have had during our stay has been amazing, cooked and presented perfectly.
All the food we have eaten here has been of the highest quality. From the wide of variety of breakfasts including traditional Greek to the speciality foods, we have experienced a gastronomic delight. The taverna is packed every night - due to their fabulous reputation and walk in clients are welcomed with the biggest smile . We have rebooked already. Highly recommend this delightful little gem.

We stayed at Sebastian’s for a week in June with our three year old daughter and were very impressed with the accommodation, good location, great food and fantastic staff. Teresa and Sebastian were perfect hosts and everything was taken care of for us.

The two bedroom bungalow was spacious with a large balcony and excellent views of the Corfu sunset. Everything was spotlessly clean and Angela and her team made sure we had everything we needed.

We booked breakfast every day, which was excellent and there was a large selection of delicious evening meals. The food at Sebastian’s was superb throughout our stay and we would highly recommend this accommodation and Taverna.

Room was compact but with all mod cons including Nespresso coffee machine and capsules. It had a modern bathroom with an excellent shower and balcony that looked towards the sea and the small town. Breakfast and all evening meals were downstairs in the very attractive and airy restaurant. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and what a choice for breakfast, egg benedict , avocado toast with poached eggs, pancakes etc. The breakfast choice and quality was better than some 4 to 5 hotels. Hotel and restaurant located at the end of the main road only a couple hundred yards walk to the beach. Staff extremely friendly. Would definitely stay again

We stayed at Sebastian's for a week at the end of September and it was absolutely super. We ate at the restaurant most evenings and also for breakfast and had some delicious meals. It is a great place, to both stay and to eat and I would absolutely recommend it and be delighted to go again. It is very clean and well looked after. The restaurant menu is varied and all our meals were excellent, including the home made wine and deserts. The staff are very friendly and we were well looked after by Sebastian and Teresa and the team. The beach is a few minutes walk away and there is a bus to Corfu town for a trip. We had a very lovely week away.

After a short stay in 2019 we were left with a strong desire to return again so we recently stayed for 5 nights. Centrally located at the top of the main road leading to the beach it is close to all facilities in the resort. We had a warm welcome from Angela and even Ruby the dog was smiling as we arrived. Our apartment was just as we remembered, very comfortable, clean and well equipped - plus a lovely sea and Mountain View over the tiled roof tops. Whist the restaurant does not have a sea view it sits beneath a canopy of grapevines with complementary lighting. This gives a unique experience which manages to deliver both intimacy and a buzzing atmosphere. Service was prompt and the food was excellent in terms of taste, quality and presentation. The open kitchen turned out this amazing food at an impressive pace. The chicken souvlaki and the peppered chicken were especially good. One of the owners took our order and provided great advice on which starters were large enough to share. The bruschetta, garlic bread and sesame and honey feta were all wonderful. A lot of hard work and commitment have gone into setting up and running Sebastian’s and this means it is very popular. The whole team are friendly and welcoming. It’s not easy to find such great places and we will be returning again.

We only discovered Sebastian’s on our last night, through reading reviews on Trip Advisor. Not sure if that was a good thing or not. If we had discovered it earlier, we definitely would have eaten there every night. We went there in the morning to book the evening meal and so glad we did because I don’t think we would have got in. On booking, the young girl was very warm and welcoming.
When we arrived in the evening, Sebastian was sitting there waiting to greet us. A beautiful setting where there are grape vines growing over you and lemon and lime trees on the edge. As it got darker, fairy lights came on in the vines.
Another thing that made it lovely was that it was actually playing traditional Greek music as opposed to English songs that all the other restaurants played.
I had an Octopus salad to start and my daughter had homemade tzatziki. To follow I had Pepper Chicken and my daughter had Spaghetti Carbonara. This was followed by lemon cheesecake and Banoffee pie. Everything was first class, the ambience, the friendly and welcoming staff and the delicious food.
We were so impressed we decided to come back for breakfast the next morning before our flight home (even though we had breakfast included at our hotel). Again everything was spot on. The extra bonus was, there is a little church opposite and as we were eating, we could hear the Greek congregation singing. It really was beautiful.
To summarise, we ate in several different restaurants in Agios Gordios which were all lovely but Sebastian’s really was something extra special. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed!

Hi there is a small pool next door that you can use apparently. Had a look at it but didnt like to use it as it is only a few appartments and felt we were intruders as everyone seemed to know each other, so we walked back out..... We did use the pool in a hotel up the road. It was really nice but a rather steep hill to walk up. Not recommended if you have trouble walking. We do prefer the beach though.

As mentioned the rooms share a balcony . However each room has its own section with a table and chairs and there is sufficient gap between to ensure some privacy although anything other than sitting and chatting can bre ruled out!

Hi Hayley, We are located about 30 minutes drive from the main town of Corfu and it will cost around 30/35 euros for a taxi to transfer you to us. We do not have any ferries operating from our location, so you must take the ferry or hydrofoil from the main port in Corfu Town. If you decide to come and stay with us, we can arrange for your transfer and if we are able to (depending on the time of day, as we are also running a busy taverna) we will try to take you to the port ourselves :-) All the very best, Teresa & Sebastian Doukakis Owners or Sebastian's

Try sebtee@otenet.gr. Teresa normally gets back very quickly, but they have had a very busy season so may be relaxing somewhere away from home.

Hi Kym, The family apartment that I have allocated to you is on the first floor with a view of the sea and village below us. It has a small flight of stairs to the apartment from the car park and you have your own independent entrance and privacy. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask. We look forward to meeting you soon. Kind regards, Teresa Dance-Doukaki
