we traveled to this village, so that we could take the day cruise to view Mount Athos Peninsula … This hotel provided far more than we expected! Meticulous and immaculate rooms, executed by a fine quality staff that was not only friendly, but efficient… We met the owner, who couldn't have been more accommodating!!! when we revisit this area of Greece for more exploration, this will be a must day for us...extremely comfortable yet, compact rooms wit outstanding amenities, excellent beds, fabulous shower.. and quality which is apparent. Thanks for a great stay!!!

Every detail is thought of here, such as sweets and cakes waiting for us in the room, and snacks provided throughout the day. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The room is so clean, the bed incredibly comfortable, the A/C works great, and the shower is strong and hot. Even the toiletries provided were the best, with a lovely aromatherapy scent. Very modern feeling in the room. And the included breakfast is delicious, with a la cart (fresh made eggs, baked beans) in addition to the buffet. We felt well cared for. The hotel is also very well situated within the town, near everything but not smack dab in the middle of the noise. Fabulous service and a fabulous, intimate little hotel!

I stayed here for four nights in August 2019 in order to see friends in the area and to prepare for a visit to Mount Athos. Hotel is spotlessly clean and well kept. Rooms are not large, but have great beds, great AC and lots of hot water with good water pressure. Breakfast is quite good, and most of all, hotel staff are exceptionally pleasant and helpful in all ways. I would stay here again without question. Please note that according to my friends, who live around Ouranopoli, this is indeed the best hotel in the area, unless one prefers to stay at a luxury all-inclusive resort like the Eagles, which tends to cost ten times per night what Ayia Marina charges.

Very privileged position just opposite to the central parking, up to main road. Outside area very nice with comfortable furniture in a beautiful garden. Reception area very nice and clean. Check in and check out very smooth. The room is nice, nespresso coffee machine, kettle, full stocked mini bar with reasonable prices, efficient aircondition, speed wifi, balcony, bathroom with luxury amenities and so soft towels and bathrobes, slippers. Mattreess and pillows so comfortable for a perfect sleeping. Absolutely cleanness!. Breakfast: quality and quantity just perfect. Omelletes so tasty, nespresso coffee, clean plates and glasses, many hot and cold options in a quite environment. Very satisfied from anything in breakfast! Free parking. This hotel is a true GEM! It was our first time in Ouranopoli and we are super lucky to have found this spot. It’s small hotel but you can sense that people who work there really care. When we arrived, they greeted us with fresh squeezed juice and coffee. Each room is so new, stylish and has everything we could ask for, including a Nespresso machine! Everyone was super friendly and helpful, gave us suggestions on things to do during the visit. We loved going to Drenia island for a day. Also, breakfast was out of this world! So fresh, delicious and the best way to start the day. Thank you guys for an amazing time!!! We will definitely be back. Anna and Jordan

Never visited Ouranoupoli before. Ayia Marina is clearly the best place to stay. Very fresh, clean and modern. Friendly staff, eager to help. Perfect both for short and long term stays. Will visit again once in the area.

I only stayed there one night and I wish I could have stayed more days. The hotel is new, the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious and plentiful. But most importantly, the people are extremely nice and very helpful. I don't know when I will visit Ouranoupolis again, but when I do that's where I am going to stay.

I have visited the place last year too as well as last month. The place is fantastic. its location is just in the center of ouranoupolis few minutes walk from the the deck - marina. It suits men visiting Mount Athos area as it is just 2-3’ walk from the marina. The place is new and extremely clean. The staff is 100% helpful on all matters and very friendly that makes you feel at home. The area is fully covered with fast and free wifi and there is a parking place at the back yard easily accessible from the main hotel premises. It is strongly recommended as the best in Ouranoupolis both for family holidays as well as for mount Athos visitors on the way.
