Detailed Reviews
Another wonderful holiday in Lesvos , staying at the Imerti. Stratos and Giwrgos are great hosts and go out of their way to help their guests . We stay in a pool ( superior) view room . Linen is changed a couple of times a week and towels daily ( you can hire towels for the pool ) . Cleaning of room is to a high standard. The buffet breakfast has a good choice and pool bar meals at lunchtime are very nice too . Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying at the Imerti , it is a 10 minute stroll from the village square in Skala Kallonis , with a good choice of reasonably priced tavernas

We spent the first ten days of August 2023 on this wonderful but underrated in my opinion island of Lesvos. Our family vacation was unexpectedly very good and this is due in large part to IMERTI RESORT HOTEL. Sometimes good comments are not enough to describe the overall service package of the hotel and its people. Starting from the base of the staff, I will say only a few words that characterize it, such as smiling, pious, well-intentioned and tireless so that customers can enjoy their rich breakfast as well as spotlessly clean rooms for their distribution. It should be noted that our towels and sheets were changed on a daily basis. As for the owners Stratos and Giorgos, I will say that their professionalism and the human face they show to everyone without any exception is rare. You feel from the first moment that they are hosts and have invited you into their home to take care of you. The location of the hotel is also a great advantage as it is in the middle of the island so that the distances are shared and you can more easily make your excursions to the numerous beauties of this place. I will definitely go to the island again and it goes without saying that I will stay at the same hotel again. Thank you very much George and Stratos. See you again.

We’ve just returned from a week’s stay at the Imerti Hotel and have had a great time. We hadn’t been to Lesvos before so weren’t too sure what to expect but we certainly weren’t disappointed.
Upon arrival, we were welcomed by one of the friendly brothers who run the hotel (and Bella, pictured, who we fell in love with🐶). We were checked in and given the option to purchase use of the air con and safe for the duration of our stay for an extra cost. We were then showed to our rooms which were absolutely faultless. Very spacious and modern, and spotlessly clean. Towels and bedding were changed very frequently and the maids (who work so hard) came in every day to empty bins, replace toilet roll etc.
In terms of food, breakfast is served 7:30-10am and there is a good choice of bread (along with a toaster, jams and spreads), pastries and biscuits, cereals, hot food and continental options. There is also a hot drinks machine, water machine and orange juice dispenser. The snack bar is also great (I think this is open 10am-3pm from memory). Unfortunately no draft beer but they serve a variety of bottled beers, wine, spirits, hot and soft drinks, and cocktails (which are amazing!). They also serve food throughout the day including salads, toasties, gyros and pizzas. Meals are delicious and portions generous.
The pool is a good size and there are plenty of sunbeds (no need to get up early to ‘reserve’ one). The only suggestion we’d have for improvement is that the sunbeds are replaced as some of them were a little unsteady. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and very quiet pool area.
The hotel is situated around an hour away from the airport and around a 5 minute walk from the beach, shops and tavernas. The meals we had were always lovely and very reasonably priced. Some of the bars and tavernas overlook the sea which is beautiful. Our favourite places to eat were Caprice and Mezen, but we didn’t have a bad meal in any of the tavernas during our stay. Granted, there aren’t as many restaurants as you’d perhaps find in a larger resort but there were enough for us.
The beach is small but pleasant and there are lots of cats and street dogs that walk around, but local businesses and tourists make sure they are fed and looked after. I don’t think this resort would be suitable for anyone who is scared of cats and dogs.
All in all, this an excellent hotel run by very friendly people who do everything they can to make sure you have a great stay. This resort is perfect for those looking for a quiet, relaxing stay but may not be suitable for those who enjoy a lively atmosphere or want to spend time exploring the area or doing activities. Wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend!

First time to both Lesvos and the Imerti and loved them both. First thing is the airport which is small. But well run and within a few minutes of going off the plane you are through passport control and collecting your bags. A pleasant transfer of about an hour brings you to skala kallonis and the Imerti. The management really consists of 2 brothers Stratos who takes care of main reception and George who tended to the pool bar and facilities although their parents also live on site. The guys both in their thirties could not have been more friendly helpful or courteous and it was a pleasure to have met them. The other members of staff were also friendly hard working and the guests came first I particularly enjoyed my chats with our lovely maid Ranya . The 350 to 400 yds to the village can be doubled to be accurate a d whilst there are about 8 good and inexpensive tavernas the are only a couple of very small mini markets and little else to do after you have eaten. As we wanted simply to relax it suited us but I could not do more than a week as I would be climbing the walls, although there was a multi channel TV none was in English and it would have been nice to catch up on news or sport but as I titled this we wanted just to relax and that was the perfect place with charming hosts great staff and good facilities. If i do ever return to Lesvos I will only go to the Imerti due to such a great holiday. All the very best Stratos and George regards from Mr John 😃

We last stayed at Imerti over 5 years ago now and promised that we would return one day and we were really looking forward to our visit and of course, we weren’t disappointed!!
George and Stratos were there to welcome us upon our arrival and we were shown to our room, the same one we had on our last visit
The rooms are very stylish and very clean, there are tea making facilities and a toaster should you want one too. The bed was very comfortable and made by the warm and friendly domestic team every day along with our towels being changed daily. The shower was fantastic with the hot water never running out!!
The staff are so helpful too, we asked for an extra pillow and it was there when we returned to our room. During our stay there was an issue with storing my medication not only did Stratos respond straight away but offered an alternative temporary solution which I really appreciated
We booked bed and breakfast and the breakfast didn’t disappoint either, with plenty to choose from and changing every day of our stay.
It’s location is perfect a short walk to the nearest beach with village life all around you.
I’ve stayed in many different hotels on Greek Islands over the years but Imerti is and always will be the best. Fantastic staff, accommodation and food, I’m sure we will return.

The owners and staff at the Imerti Hotel are extremely welcoming and friendly. It is a small hotel that is very well run.
The rooms are modern and bright and cleaned to a high standard with clean towels daily and fresh bed sheets every couple of days. Air con was paid extra, as was the safe in the room if needed.
Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with a range of food on offer and a decent coffee machine.
The hotel bar serves a good selection of food in the day and a variety of drinks. We didn’t drink there in the evening.
The hotel is located on a quiet country lane and is a short 5-6 minute walk into the main square, where there are restaurants and a few bars. The food in all of the restaurants has been delicious but our stand out meals were at Caprice and Mezen.
The resort is small, pretty, quaint and perfect if you want a relaxing holiday.
We have had a perfect holiday in every way and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The best compliment you can give a hotel is to return and after a wonderful holiday last year we were back...but for longer. A fantastic welcome from our hosts Stratos and George and the team. They make you feel like friends not guests and you become quite fond of them too as nothing is took much trouble to make your holiday one to remember. quiet and chilled around the freshwater pool but with relaxing music and snacks and drinks from the pool bar. we used to go to the pool and have a couple of breaks back at the room where we had a coffee and salad sandwich as the rooms have a full size fridge and you can get great beef tomatoes and cheese and ham from the local shops for pennies. Then after a shower down to the town a 700 yard walk but flat as a pancake to choose between 8 or 9 good restaurants all excellent and cheap our favourite being Sampo right on the beach. Not much to do after you have eaten but for a relaxing chilled holiday unbeatable. Good little airport with a surprising good duty free and fresh food to buy to take on the plane. Back to the Imerti I cannot recommend the hotel or the owners highly enough , lovely people, great location and for us 10 out of 10. Out thanks for a great holiday. All the best Mister John.

The best compliment you can give a hotel is to return and after two wonderful holiday's we were back...but for longer. A fantastic welcome from our hosts Stratos and George and we even had our 'old' room as it suits us perfectly. The breakfast seemed better this year with plenty of choice to suit all taste's. You feel like friends not guests and the staff take so much trouble to make your holiday one to remember. Quiet and chilled around the freshwater pool but with relaxing music and snacks and drinks from the pool bar. No fighting for sun loungers and at this time of the year no kids even though at times the pool area looked like a scene from 'cocoon'. We used to go to the pool and have a couple of breaks back at the room where we had a coffee and salad sandwich as the rooms have a full size fridge and you can get great beef tomatoes and cheese and ham from the local shops for pennies. I measured the walk to town at .28 of a mile with runkeeper so its about 500 yards but flat as a pancake to choose between 8 or 9 good restaurants all excellent and cheap our favourite being Sampo right on the beach. Not much to do after you have eaten for non drinkers but for a relaxing chilled holiday unbeatable. Good little airport with a surprising good duty free and fresh food to buy to take on the plane even after you have gone through passport control. Cannot leave without a special mention for the Jet2 reps Simon ( who was on holiday himself ) but still helped us, Sharon and Joanne who located an item I had lost and brought to my around the pool after about 4 days, first class service

This hotel is everything you would ever wish for if looking for somewhere that is friendly, relaxing and luxurious.
This is our Third visit to the Imerti it is the best hotel in the resort. Stratos and George (brothers)were there to welcome us upon our arrival and we were shown to our room we had paid extra for an upgrade junior suite and we’re not disappointed . The room was very spacious stylish and very clean, there are tea making facilities and a toaster should you want one too. The bed was very comfortable and the room
was kept really well by our really friendly maid daily . The shower was fantastic with the hot water never running out!! The staff are so helpful too, we asked for an extra pillow and it was there when we returned to our room.
The breakfast was plentiful and the lunch menu was small but delicious, you could enjoy an ice cold beer in frozen glasses perfect for a hot day. Nice shaded area by the bar over looking the pool.
The local village with its harbour was less than 10 min walk and has a selection of traditional restaurants and bars. We loved the local feeling.
Brothers really helpful with car hire, local knowledge and places to visit on the Island

This hotel offers a fantastic level of relaxation. It is a very quite environment. A small hotel with the personal touch. Staffed and run by family they provide a lovely service.
We stayed in late September so it was getting towards the end of the season.
We were looking for quiet stay after a busy year and this was definitely the place. We stayed bed and breakfast but there was a lunchtime menu of freshly prepared food available if required.
The hotel was spotlessly clean with you your room cleaned and towels replaced daily.
We had a apartment with a lounge room with a smart TV, a sink and fridge. We also had a large balcony.
The hotel is situated five minutes walk inland from a traditional Greek village with a small taverna, great food, great value. Ten minutes walk is the beach with several nice bars and restaurants. The area is flat and easy to walk around. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody who wants a relaxing time. I'll be back.
Thanks to Stratos and George for a great stay.

We were there at the end of April and did not need air conditioning. In May you might or you might not. Chances not. The evenings are not hot and sultry as in summer.
Walking into the village is absolutely safe. Enjoy the bakery on your left half way to the village. There there are excellent tavernas and cafes and a couple of small supermarkets. The ice cream parlour should be open then.
Generally it is a quiet place.
We love it, but it depends on your taste.
