Stayed at this lovely hotel for 18 days during the pandemic, Bill, his family and the staff did a really good job at keeping everyone safe , constant cleaning in all area's and hand sanitizing stations in all places that guests would mix, even adding wall machines on the outside of the rooms.
Breakfast cooked freshly to order, no buffet for obvious reasons but plenty of choice and large portions.
Rooms cleaned every day, towels and linen every other day also plenty of hot water.

The hotel was quiet but the bar was open and you could get snacks at lunch, in fact whatever time it was they would rustle something up to eat sandwiches salads etc all the usual thing's.

Lovely hotel and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, I would say do not be scared in fact I felt safer in Greece than in London!

3 of us stayed at end of July and start of August. Hotel was great and only a 5-10 min walk on an evening into the small town where there were plenty of friendly greek restaurants to choose from.
Pool is lovely, but not much of a shallow end for little ones. Apart from that, everything was great. Manager (Bill) was friendly and helpful when we had any queries. Pool bar offered great service for drinks every day and the whole complex was well run, very clean and well cared for. We had no problem getting Sun loungers in h the morning and it was lovely having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the pool.
For somewhere to come to relax and recharge, it is perfect. If you are looking for an action packed resort then this one is probably not for you, but it is exactly as imaging and we will be leaving as satisfied guests. We have just booked tickets for the hotel BBQ which is on Tuesdays as we have heard good reports about this too:)

I had a nice quiet stay in Pasiphae Hotel Bill his wife & staff are very attentive.

The Rooms are basis but you only sleep & shower in them with a balcony too clean & serviced daily by room maid.

I was on half board basis but B&B is a good idea The breakfast is very good Greek yoghurt cereal salad cold meats also a cooked breakfast Bacon greek sausage beans Poached egg coffee tea fruit juice the lot ! for evening meal there are plenty of good taverners a short walk away in the village harbour, it is a fishing village.

Car hire is cheap enough 35 € a day in the square.

Bill & the hotel staff laid on a BBQ Bill cooked Tuesday for hotel guest's 12.50€ if not on half board it was a very good BBQ lots to eat too.

If you want a quiet holiday I can recommend this hotel, the best pool area in Skala Kallonis. Will visit again if back in Lesvos !

The pool is great, good size, clean and deep (not really suitable for kids)
The rooms are comfortable
The breakfast was good (although this included the previous evenings' leftovers)
HOWEVER
If you book half board, you only have one choice! (even being a vegerarian). On our first night, the owner/manager offered to scrape off the beef from the moussaka! The food was cheap and very stodgy, usually a small quantity of mince and pasta. I enjoyed a couple of veggie meals, but otherwise offered a very basic omelette. No veggie meal at all for me on the weekly barbecue night! Meals became something we dreaded.....If doing evening food is too inconvenient, I would suggest to the owner that he simply stops offering it!
There are so many good restaurants at the resort that I would urge NOT to go half board.
Bill, the owner seemed to have 'his favourate guests' and we did not fall into that category, perhaps because we did not spend ebough at the bar....whereas he would spend plenty of time with some of his customers, others like ourselves were not treated with respect.
The rooms were clean, however no toilet rolls on Sunday when the cleaner is off (we had to help ourselves from their store cupboard)
I hope the owners of this otheriwise pleasant hotel view this review constructively, as it intended.

Dear Lacourde2016, I would to thank you for arriving at our hotel. Year 2022 is the first post covid year for Lesvos and for all the touristic business. Businesses do not know what to expect along with all the tour operators. In general, Lesvos has not recovered but has made a restart. This has caused all kinds of deals with the tour operators couldn't predict how any service should be held. The safest way was a set menu with one option as a starter, salad bar, one main dish, and dessert. The time when huge buffets or options have not arrived yet, unfortunately. For this, I need to apologize since the half-board service did not meet your expectations. Also, the volume of the hotel in half board service was 4-6 people and this has not helped guests to be in a full hotel restaurant and the hotel to exaggerate apart from breakfast. We do not serve leftovers from dinners. Leftover food is what you have on your plate and that is thrown to the pets. When we have the sfoggato or a spinach pie which are dishes that can be preserved in a fridge under all the safety and hygiene regulations, this can be served one more time. Don't you put your food from the pan in the fridge at your house to have it the next day or evening? Anyway, I understand your frustration about the half board service, and next year since the hotel has some guaranteed deals for half board, this service will improve rapidly. As for my relations with guests, this is a two ways relationship. It has nothing to do with drinking in the bar or dining in the restaurant of our hotel. There are of course friends that arrive at the hotel for the last 30 years. We have grown up together and along with new guests we have a great time. Indeed the resort has very good restaurants. On Sundays, we don't do rooms like many hotels in the world. A missing toilet paper is always available at the reception when is requested. Thank you for visiting our hotel. Vasilis (Bill) Vogiatzis

On arriving at the hotel, I was given the key to my room, which when I entered looked a reasonable size but dated as was the bathroom. The room and bathroom were clean apart from dirt in the draws of the wardrobe and the cleaners were very good coming in most days apart from Sunday. . There was a fridge in the room but no kettle so could not make my own drinks, there was wifi in the bedroom and all over the hotel although you may have to keep signing into different hotspots. Breakfast was good with eggs bacon and sausage available every day along with continental and toast and cakes. The pool area was ok with sun loungers always available but was a bit tight for space in some areas. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach, shops and restaurants, on the first week the restaurants were very busy but better the second week (getting towards end of season) . I feel guests should be aware that the hotel is sometimes used by the Greek community, on one occasion a group of about 30 people had a meal with music which went on to about 12:00 which was not really a problem, but about 3 days before I was due to come home a Greek coach party turned up for breakfast for about 3 days turning breakfast from peaceful to rather noisy and busy.

Dear Jasper93, We would like to thank you for your comments. As for the kettle that was not in the room, we need to mention that it has been not in any brochure that there is one. Apart from that, we do have some kettles in the reception and when somebody needs them he just comes to the reception to ask. As for Greek groups arriving at our hotel for 3 or more days, as a hotel, we do operate with all the nationalities that go for holidays and we find it rather disappointing that you have been annoyed because another nationality might be the majority in a hotel because of the size of its group. We have allocated in our hotel a deal of 30 rooms in the Uk market, and because the deal went very well we did reach for some weeks 40 rooms with British staying in our hotel. Is this a reason for somebody to apply a suggestion in any means of social media please be aware because the Brits are a majority in a place.??!!I find your comment rather unpolite and I am sorry that I need to point it out, but beyond all, I am a Greek also. With respect to all the other suggestions, which I will look into and correct. Vasilis Vogiatzis Manager Of HOtel Pasiphae

Spent two weeks at this Hotel from July 6th. Location is perfect as a nice peaceful place away from the hubbub of the main village but a nice gentle walk down there to eat at night, about 10 minutes stroll all on the flat. They host a BBQ night once a week which is nice playing music from the 60 70 and 80's ears then finishing with Greek music for people to dance if they wish. Popular with local Greeks who attend and do a good bit of dancing which you are invited to join should you wish. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean by the happy smiley maids and must admit this was the most comfortable bed we have slept in abroad for many years, the pillows too were good quality too and I would say a medium to soft support. plus the bedding nice quality too. No complaints with the room at all, plenty of storage space, some coat hangers but we always take plenty of travel hangers with us so that was fine...maybe an idea to do so ;) . No tea making facilities but nothing to stop you going to the breakfast room when it opens for a cup before you go to breakfast. On that note the breakfast was not bad, just got boring after a few days. usually eggs bacon and village sausage, cake, bread toast bread cereal fruit (usually melon and or plums) plain Greek yoghurt and cheese and ham, plenty of choice with local made hams and honey and also a good choice of teas and coffee. The waitress was lovely local girl who always had a smile and hello to everyone, as was the lovely Vaseliki behind the bar. The pool area is beautiful and clean everywhere, a small seating area in front of the pool bar is great for a refreshing drink and also a nightcap on the way home to bed! We tended to go out and about as had a scooter so got back for a few early doors beers and then called in after our evening out for a couple of wines or ouzos. Met some nice people this holiday including some from a Grecophile Forum I am in who came to say hello. Would we return - yes most likely if we get a decent price flight but most likely just for a week as being such a huge island it is a distance to travel to get to other resorts etc. However, should you be happy to spend you day at the Hotel around the pool on either B&B or half board and /or use the village beach then this is the perfect place top be. The hotel has a lovely friendly adopted pooch named Fuster whose best friend Fluffy? the cat is his constant shadow, we loved to see them interacting!!! Thank you everyone at Pasiphae for a lovely holiday - Heather & Pavlos (Paul)

After my first visit to Lesbos last August, I quickly booked for a return 2 week visit in May 2022. The hotel is in an ideal location with a 10 minute walk to the beach and the beautiful village of Skala Kallonis. If you're looking for a relaxed break, this is seriously worth considering. The hotel is very clean, rooms are cleaned daily. The pool area is also very clean with sun loungers to all sides of the pool All the staff were very friendly and helpful including the manager who was also really helpful and very informative. Breakfast was ample as were the meals served at lunchtime. I can't comment on the evening meals as I ate out every night in one of the lovely restaurants in the local village of Skala Kallonis. It was very easy to hire a car if you wanted to explore this beautiful Island. I will definitely be returning in 2023.

We had a very enjoyable and relaxing week at the Hotel Pasiphae in late August.
Bill who runs the complex was friendly and helpful from the outset. Its a family orientated Hotel with very friendly staff who always had a smile on their faces being happy to help with any queries raised.

The Tuesday evening BBQ is a must for all guests. Rest Assured, you wont go hungry ! (We spoke to a British ex-Pat couple who attended the BBQ who said that Hotel Pasiphae was the best in the area)
Our room was comfortable (with air-con) and reasonably spacious with good quality linen and cleaned daily.
Breakfast was varied and always offered an option for the family to enjoy.
We never struggled to get a sun lounger by the pool and with a poolside bar available, your thirst is always quenched.
My son loved the pool and made friends with many of the kids at the complex. (He's already talking about when were re-booking for a return visit)

The area is quiet (uncommercial) but does offer a number of friendly restaurants near the beach (10mins from Hotel). Service and quality were excellent with reasonable prices.
Our Jet2Holidays rep recommended a trip to Mithymna and Petra. She arranged transport for us and we had a great day. Beautiful locations with plenty of
places to each and cobbled streets to wander around. (Sunset overlooking Petra beach is recommended).

A big thumbs up to Bill at Hotel Pasiphae and Jet2Holidays. Keep up the good work.

First visit back to Greece In 30yrs, I had forgotten how friendly the people are and reasonable priced the Tavernas are.!!
The Hotel has a wonderful deep pool great for adults shallow end 1.1m. The beds in the rooms are very comfortable, free air conditioning and Breakfast is fabulous, Buffet hot and cold choices.
THE BBQ night is excellent well worth the money, lots meat and salads cooked by the manager himself, he also spent time talking to his customers!!
Pool bar looked after by Billie, good prices great service,Thank you 👍, Manager and Chef (sorry I've forgotten your name!! ) booked Calipso Boat Trip to Rabbit Island, €27.00 to include light lunch, and snorkel masks provided if needed, saw lots of
fish even blue neons? At least 20 species.!! And sorted local taxi to Petra port, other side of the Island has lovely sandy beaches.
Only down side, we found the sunbeds a bit uncomfortable, still managed to sun bath for 6hrs a day!!. The local beach isn't great lots of sea grass, but hotel pool and food make up for this.
Great Hotel , nice location. I would highly recommend. Ignore poor reviews.

We have absolutely loved our time in Skala Kallonis and at this hotel. The position of the hotel is perfect, just a 3 minute walk to the village bakery and a further minute to the village square and beach.
The hotel has a lovely deep pool which is kept very clean and has plenty of sunbeds. The beds in the good size studios are supremely comfortable and we have slept better here than we do at home. The air con (free!) is very efficient and virtually silent, and the rooms have a good size balcony to relax on after a hard day at the beach! Breakfast is plentiful, we also really enjoyed the bbq which is held on a Tuesday evening. It was €12.50 for unlimited meat, salads and dessert along with music and dancing (we were lucky enough to see Greek dancing 💃).
The island and village are wonderful. It is proper Greek life, nothing fancy but all the better for it. The local people are so friendly and wherever we went we always got a nice greeting. The hotel is in a great spot for exploring the rest of the island as it is so central. We went north, east and west and would definitely recommend exploring. Oh, and there are turtles in the river by the beach! The environmental centre has lots of information about the importance ecologically of the area.
All in all we would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff are a credit to Bill (the manager), and he is very friendly and always happy to offer advice or answer questions.
Would we return? In a heartbeat 💓 this island and this hotel are fab!!

Hi Jackie, you will need to visit the site with ktel lesvos. There you will find the timetable of the scheduled transport, which you can get. Have in mind though, that the schedule is not so convenient and you might need a taxi to go from one part of the island to another.
