This is the place to stay in Skala Kalloni . On arriving tired and hungry we asked if a snack was available, we were shown to the dining room where a gorgeous greek buffet was set out, home made veg soup, salads, chicken roasted with garlic and lemons, oven potatoes, aubergine with tomatoes and pasta , the list goes on,...

Lovely hotel in a quiet area on walking distance from the village. The rooms are basic but nuce, and are situated in a nice garden. Breakfast is included and the variety is super. The road next to hotel leads to silent beaches and after a 10 minutes walk you'll reach the tiny village, which offers some nice restaurants, coffeehouses and...

We loved Aegeon Hotel. Good location, clean rooms with air conditioning, delicious breakfast. All staff were friendly and kind. Special thanks to Elena. She's great! We'll come to Aegeon again next year.

With the awful migrant crisis waning in Greece, a lot of hotels have been effected by this. One such hotel is the Aegeon Hotel in Skala Kalloni. This hotel is set about 200m from the beach and 800m from the village square. It's location is ideal for a quieter stay. The rooms as beautifully decorated and the air conditioning is...

My friend and I stayed for 2 weeks at the Aegeon Hotel, our second visit. I highly recommend going to Lesbos. If you are looking for authentic Greece this Island is the one to go. Do not believe all that you hear on the news. We did not see or had any experiences with refugees. Tourism has been affected as...

We just got back from holiday spent on the Lesvos Island. We stayed in the Aegon hotel. Highly recommended. Migrant situation we had no visual sign of migrants in this part of the island and also did a lot of research into it beforehand, it felt really safe here. Lovely and quite location. We had a lovely and clean room...

This is our favourite hotel on the island - once we found it about 8 years ago we have not stayed anywhere else. Have probably spent 20 holidays on the island by now. The owners are so friendly and welcoming; it is a delight to eat breakfast on the terrace each morning; we love our room on the first floor...

This is the third visit to our favourite hotel in Skala Kalloni. Rooms are large and airy, and the food adequate. A few changes with the loss of a brilliant barman George. He is a very hard act to follow, and the hotel is a sadder place without him. When it was time to leave the hotel there was nobody...

The best base for birdwatching for the price out of the 3 on the strip. Great service especially the bar manager Elieni who has a wicked sense of humour! Rooms are clean, fridge, air-con, hairdryer, balcony or patio. Lovely breakfast and bar-b-que. I'll be back for 2wks next year.
