We had a lovely time at Cainbabble Mountain Lodge. The cabin was roomy and the pot belly stove made it warm and cozy. Geoff was friendly, helpful and easy going and it was such a nice surprise to get beautiful fresh bake bread and muffins for breakfast! The view from the property's lookout was gorgeous and amazing so we spent... More

We visited with friends in July, staying in Chalet No 3 (the House). Geoff and Robyn are a lovely couple, who certainly make you feel very welcome. The delicious home baked muffins were an added bonus; as were the freshly baked crusty bread sticks on the Sunday morning. The house is very spacious; as is the huge veranda. The weather... More

Great place to stay for Lammington visit. Set on the mountain top in park like grounds and with great views. As some have said the chalets are not forensically cleaned but there is no problem at all with that. It is just like using a friends holiday house. Geoff the owner is very friendly and helpfull. Even made us some... More

This place could not have been better. From the property owner Geoff to the magical views and everything in between it was literally perfect! We were a group of 5 so we stayed in Chalet 1. It is a 2 floor, spacious house that slept each of us comfortably. It has a full kitchen complete with all needed accessories, towels,... More

Romantic cabin 2 with wood fire place. Mist enveloping mountain and family of Pretty faced Wallabies and other wild life throughout the property. Short drive to Lamington National Park with kilometers of walking tracks Fantastic vista of Scenic Rim from the B.B.Q's lookout. Owners very friendly and helpful. I'll be back!!

We stayed in Chalet 2, which is perfect for a couple on a getaway, with a fireplace and small deck in complete privacy. The Chalet had a loft bedroom, and was equipped as a self-contained little house, with all that you need (microwave, oven, plates, cutlery, frypan etc.) - all you need to bring are sheets, food and drinks! The... More

We really enjoyed our stay. The lookout/BBQ are was outstanding, Wallabies and other wildlife were around particularly in the morning. The kids loved the wood fire. The distance between the chalets is enough that you are in a private location. We found it was 15 to 20 minutes to O'Reilly's as the road is largely one way and you have... More

We stayed 2 nights here and really enjoyed it. The location is beautiful on top of mount cainbable. The property consists of 3 chalets, with a huge area around it. The best place is the lookout with the bbq. We had afternoon drinks here (O'Reilly's wine we can recommend!) after a wonderful day in Lamington NP and loved the amazing... More

Great place. Hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind, including fresh muffins that were about the best I've had. Cabins were nice and well positioned in relation to Lamington walks and the view from the top of the property (where the brave can BBQ) is wonderful, especially at sunrise and sunset. Very affordable compared to others and well worth a stay.... More

“We stayed in Chalet 1 and our daughter stayed in Chalet 2. Chalet 2 is perfect for a couple or a couple with a baby but Chalet 1 comfortably took our family of six. In Chalet 1 there is a bedroom on the ground floor and a loft with four beds. Chalet 2 just has the loft. Both Chalets were roomy with modern kitchens and bathrooms. We had a look at Chalet 3 as it was vacant on our last day and it has separate rooms all on a single level. Chalet 3 has stunning views with a deck.”
