*Fantastic musicians! Trevor Nelson was great but wish he had let his band play a bit more! *Lovely clean rooms with lots of free snacks, water etc. *Beautiful gardens and lake. *Great facilities e.g. pool, sauna, games etc. *Food good but service not so! Staff mainly young agency workers with obviously not much training.

2 night break me and mum.1st time at Warner and after mixed reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect.I’m aware I have high standards.Drive up to Nidd hall is a long drive way, with bunnies running around sheep lamb cows to see.Our room was lovely a newly refurbished. Some lovely touches.plush towels goody basket fresh milk water. We ate in both restaurants for breakfast and dinner. Both very nice plenty of choice.Entertainment was really enjoyable. We went to the 1st showing starts around 8.The staff are all so lovely friendly helpful pleasant Yorkshire hospitality at its best.Warner should be very proud of the hard working efficiency of there staff. My mum said I hope they get well payed as the restaurant staff work extremely hard. From desk lovely ladies so happy and smiley .Thank you so much to you all at Nidd hall me and mum had a fantastic time.

Just returned from an excellent weekend at Nidd Hall with our friends. Met some lovely people, had some really nice meals and in the main fabulous entertainment and dancing. The entertainment team of Charlotte, Michael, and Sarah should be congratulated for their efforts and Clara in the Pavilion bar deserves a special mention too. Really only one blip on the weekend was the main event of Trevor Nelson. Whoever arranged that needs to be aware, that in my opinion, and that of many other guests it was totally unsuitable for the top spot, when people wanted to dance and party. Apart from that Dominic Uppiah and Hayley Ria were terrific. I would say that although we were told they were short staffed, the service was quite slow, and they are missing chances to make money when an event is in the Pavilion, but the bar isn't open. Thanks to the team that did their best to make our stay a good one.

We went to Nidd Hall for a Soul weekend but were very disappointed by the main act on Saturday night. Trevor Nelson literally sat on a couch and talked about his career in radio for over two hours. It’s fair to say that a large number of people didn’t get what they expected. Why didn’t he let his band play more than a couple of notes before shutting them down? Why didn’t he play a few sets of music at intervals to bring his story to life? Why didn’t he realise that things weren’t going to plan when the room was emptying after an hour? People expected music and dancing not a very lengthy after dinner speech with zero audience interaction. Thee entertainment team tried very hard to retrieve the situation on Sunday night by adjusting the programme but as most folk were travelling the following day they were probably reluctant to have too much of a party. The Sunday afternoon matinee Soul Brothers were fabulous and if they had headlined on Saturday night this would be a very different review.

Trevor Nelsons performance was completely and utterly dire. DO NOT BOOK TO SEE HIM ANYWHERE ELSE. The poor staff that work on entertainment must of watched it sink knowing they could do a job way better for pennies. That was a complete disgrace, who’s funny idea was it to have a man sit on a couch and talk at us for 2 hours on a Saturday night and not play any music. The talented band played all of a few seconds and Trevor Nelson stopped them every time. Great place to go, all other entertainment was great, Harmomy 3 seemed a bit of a shambles but passable. In-house team show would run circles around this ‘ celeb ‘ Sat writing this while watching Hayley Ria who is outstanding Shame on Warner’s
