We arrived in Minnis Bay around 8.30pm. The local pub we have used before was closed for renovations but noticed this little café open beside the pub. We asked if they were still open for food but they stated they close at 7pm. When we told them we had just arrived from Ireland for a family visit the chef jumped...

Stopped for a quick coffee, sat outside in the drinking area with my dog who was on a lead, two women had a three dogs between them none on the lead, two terrier type dogs then proceeded to run at full pelt around the tables, then coming up to me and jumping up on my jeans leaving mud all over...

While out for a walk along the beach we decided to have lunch at Waves and it was lovely. Very busy but staff friendly and very efficient. Food was lovely and was well worth the wait. Great place for dog walkers as dogs are welcome and all dogs were well behaved. Will definitely visit again.

Don't know how long they have been running the cafe but it was a nice thing to discover especially as the more established place next door is being rebuilt. Quite cheek by jowl as it s smallish venue but they are really trying hard. Good menu nice staff. The meal was too big but hats hardly a negative. It gets...

What could be a lovely BnB was spoilt by the amount of noise that resounds from other rooms and upstairs. Children running around upstairs until after 11pm, and doors banging. We could hear showers, toilets flushing and and people talking. We went here for a quiet getaway but we could not get to sleep because of the paper thin walls....

The room was lovely and modern with a great wet room bathroom (the bathroom could do with an electric toothbrush charging socket). The location is great right on the seafront and the welcome was lovely and friendly. Unfortunately the two things I hope for from a bed and breakfast is sleep and a nice breakfast...Unfortunately the walls are paper thin...

Spotlessly clean and well presented room, lovely dog friendly people who were most obliging and the bed in room 3 was really comfy. There was a bit of work going on as they developed the planned bar and restaurant, but nothing that would detract you from enjoying the place. The local beach would benefit from having the seaweed cleaned off,...
