The room: tiny bathroom, where a strange sort of redecoration had made it impossible to clean the window sill for a long time. The only lamps in the room were the bedside lamps. We had a double room, but there was only one (uncomfortable) chair, so if we wanted to spend time in the room we had to sit on... More

Well positioned with a great ocean view. Very nice decor. Great service. The room are somewhat basic however (no tv, no air conditioning, basic bathroom, no elevators). You can see that they are oriented towards the great outdoor (don't stay in your room!). The beach can be accessed by stairs nearby (as you are on top of a cliff). Breakfast... More

The first room that we were allocated was really awful, we needed to be moved. The second bedroom (14) was fine, comfortable with a fabulous view, but you would need to be a contortionist to use the bathroom, the door could not open fully it was so small. Once you had used the shower the (horrible) shower curtain was wet... More

I was here to rest - and rest I did. The place was very quiet on this Wednesday evening. I got a FANTASTIC room in the main building (room 10) - and as I can see from other reviews - it DOES make a difference which room you get. The room was so spacious, and the view so breathtaking, that... More

I have been there in winter time, so not that many people. The staff was friendly and efficient. The premises are very comfortable. Its is a beautiful place to relax and rest. You will really enjoy sitting in front of the chimney and share drinks with fiends.

This hotel is located in a beautiful setting just next to the sea with wonderful views. There's a nice walking path which takes you all the way to Gilleleje downtown (about 2 km) The hotel itself is old fashioned beach hotel - but everything has been nicely refurbished. Friendly and helpful staff. There's also some newer wings of the hotel... More

My husband and I treated ourselves to a package - room, massages, 3 course meal and breakfast - and it was worth every kroner. Our room had a great view of the sea and we liked the New England feel. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and wine - very delicious. We enjoyed relaxing by the... More

Such a fantastic place for a weekend getaway. We chose the "Pleasant weekdays" package. Amazing welcome, massage, spa facilities and delectable food. Set in a gorgeous location with friendly staff. A must try for Copenhageners wanting to escape from the city and tourists looking to enjoy the beautiful nature that Denmark has to offer.

I have now been to this hotel five times and it's always lovely. The interior is very old fashioned giving a sense of nostalgia. The restaurant is great and it was here we found our absolute favorite red wine of all times (we tend to buy it at other restaurants, just to bring the good memories from Gilleleje Badehotel back)....
