The only great interest and value of this hotel is the fantastic snorkelling location : great lagoon, and nice beaches. The hotel infrastructures are old and definitely need renovation to satisfy the 3 stars. One example is the bathroom with a very tiny and small shower cabin, that my husband could not fit in... Services, Staff competences and kindness are...

Beautiful location whte sands and palm trees. 2 Giant tortoise on site. Trekking in the forest that is teeming with gekkos . Rather quiet in the evening with occasional entertainment. Boat goes to the jetty on a regular basis. Dont be tempted to jump into a taxi on the jetty, They will charge SR250 for a trip that will cost...

Your "own" beach? Emerald waters to snorkel? Lush garden? Calm? Not ready to pay the 5* service? Then this is your spot. Pick one of the villas on the seafront, take the ground floor that comes with a veranda if you like that. Boat shuttle is regular and takes 15 minutes. Beach is clean as all the rest. Room outfits...

It is the snorkeling that makes it worth to choose this Hotel . Snorkeling is worldclass. The naturralist biologist guide was good and a big pluss for this place. Breakfast and desserts are poor. Dinner is ok. Water and other drinks are very expensive ! The bed smelled.

We were in New Emerald Cove hotel. We came with the last boat from Mahe on Praslin at 16:25, which I think is bad connection beetwen islands so you need to have on mind your plane should be before that time or you will stay for one night on Mahe. When we came on Praslin there was a boat for...

A holiday at New Emerald Cove can be whatever you want it to be - Total relaxation and decadence, or active and recreational. The hotel and its staff are excellent, the fact that it is only accessible by boat is a huge plus - you get a sense of total isolation and retreat, despite the fact that there is a...

The reviews here are rather off-putting, and based on our experience now somewhat outdated. This hotel is not frequented by many English - we were the only ones there, being surrounded by French, Germans and Italians. That's not a problem because all the staff speak English, but for a more representative view of the hotel look at ratings on the...

First of all be aware that this hotel is in Praslin but to arrive there is only by boat. The hotel has a boat that goes to and come back from the jetty area each 1 hour and the last time is 18:15h, after this you have the option only at 23h. So you get totally dependent of this boat...

The sea in front of the resort is outstanding! Snorkeling is very good: sea turtles, batfish, surgeon fish, trumpet fish, parrot fish, etc. I loved the whole atmosphere: beautiful gardens, nice pool, great food, giant tortoise, lot of birds. They offer a wide range of excursions. Things you probably won't like: the beach will disappear with high tide, waiters at...
