Wonderful country hotel. The room was spacious and well-appointed and both dinner and breakfast were very good. The staff create a relaxing atmosphere. One small criticism - the shower might have both hotter and more plentiful - a small issue in what was a very pleasant stay.

Having a birthday at the beginning of February is not usually the best time to take a holiday in this country, but we were not disappointed with our choice of hotel. We had stayed here a number of years ago, enjoyed it then , so decided to spend 5 days there again. The location of the Boar's Head Hotel is...

Our room was lovely, very roomy and well appointed. The staff were very efficient, professional and friendly. We didn't have an evening meal but the breakfast choice was very good and the food likewise.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Had a meal in the dining room which was lovely, I had the liver which was cooked just right. We stayed in one of the rooms in the court area which was very clean and Comfortable, only issue was the room was too hot for us. Really enjoyed our stay.

(Kudos to finding serving staff who are so chipper first thing of a Sunday morning!) We stayed in the superior room - I have noted that alot of people have commented on...

Stayed for 1 night in small double room - however the room was definitely not small. Very comfy bed. Superb evening meal and good value for money. Saw a band and bar closed when we got back, but we were well looked after as we were residents, and the guy on duty brought us drinks to the comfortable lounge. Excellent...
