A stunning site in the garrigue and close to Verdon... This delightful Provencal holiday village is surrounded by a huge park of oak trees. There are great facilities here for young and old including a swimming pool, tennis, mini golf(1) and a gym. If you are curious and feel like exploring, you are in for a real treat - the Verdun Natural Park is right on the doorstep.

The place was run down and dirty. Facilities were poor, pool area was in need of some tlc snd a refurb, the flooring round the pool was slippery, we witnessed numerous people fall. The lifeguards were hardly visable never manning the slides allowing kids to mess and causing big queues. The grounds aren’t taken care of or cleaned and the caravan we stayed in was dirty and had a lot of damage. The camp is definitely not a 4* cramp the food and drinks onsite were really expensive as you are in a location where there isn’t much else to do.

Enjoyed our stay with the family Was our first experience , but it was great. The pool area was great for the kids . The only disturbing was the fact that people where laying towels to reserve their chair for the rest of the day . But despite that , we had the time of our lives .

Nice park and Eurocamp accommodation all good, however, this review is on the take away restaurant which ultimately the site is responsible for. Arrived late and our only option for food was the take away. We tried to order a cheese burger with no sauce or cheese for my son who has a dairy allergy which they wouldn’t accommodate simply showing me a copy of the menu stating ‘no modifications’. I told them this was ridiculous which upon translation they took as meaning stupid (which it was) and then they refused to serve me. Ultimately this meant us going hungry which obviously left us with an extremely bad perception of the site. The lack of flexibility (i.e. please ask the chef to not put cheese or sauce on the burger) was in our mind both ridiculous and stupid of the take away management who refused to flex!

The slides in this park make it well worth the visit. Booked the Azure Vista - 3 bedroom and it was clean and ok. The kitchen area and the rooms were a bit too small for 5. Restaurant on site was quite expensive. There is a fabulous Super U only 5 minutes from the campsite. Beautiful area surrounding. Verdon Gorge worth a visit. Moustiers-Sainte-Marie is fabulous. Lavender fields about half hour away. Tennis, crazy golf, volleyball, all on site. Entertainment each night.

Cabin was from the 1980 and reps admitted it shouldn't be rented out. If you want to feel what it’s like to stay in a cabin from the 1980's then Eurocamp at this site is the way to go. Although it’s not a nice look back at the 80's, it’s a set of cabins used extensively in the 80's, 90's, 00's, 10's and 20's without any updates. On arrival the obvious complete tardiness of the cabin was immediately obvious. Then using the shower for the first time, noticed that the shower head was broken and could not be attached to the wall. Eurocamp’s response was "just use it with one hand"! Yes, I have paid £2400 to use a substandard shower with 1 hand on my holiday. Then when the kids used the toilet, it leaked. So again, notified the rep who said that someone would be back the next day to fix it whilst we were out. The next day I received a text to say it was fixed. Hence, I believed them. On our return as we were told it was fixed, one of the kids used it. However, on pressing the flush, there was no water coming into the cistern. The campsites handyman’s way to fix the toilet leak was to stop the water going to it! But in their obvious wisdom they didn't think to communicate this important point, they just said it was fixed!! Then Eurocamp said that the handyman can't come for another two days. What was Eurocamp’s solution to this, seeing as the toilet had been used and the obvious couldn’t now be flushed away due to the handyman’s work - I hear you ask..... Well, Eurocamp said that I just need to get the bucket, fill it from the sink and fill the cistern, for the next two days!! Yes, again I have just paid £2400 pounds and I am on holiday and meant to be relaxing and Eurocamp are expecting me to continually fill a faulty toilet from the sink. Trying to sleep on the beds was nearly impossible and I figured out why after closer examination, there were a number of broken slats in every single bed just left as Eurocamp just expect you to put up with that. Three of the plastic dining chairs broke the first time they were sat on, and they refused to come and pick them up. There were scratches in every room in what was left of the paint on the walls, some people had etched their initials into the walls much like a prisoner in a cell! So overall do not waste your money and stay with Eurocamp at this site. Use another provider or go to another site.

This is our 4th visit so obviously in the past we have enjoyed our time here. Staff are friendly enough and the XL comfort lodge is ok but looking a little tired. The park is incredibly busy and if you are not at the pool area when it opens at 10am you will struggle to find a sun bed. Of course you have all the selfish people who just get there early, throw down their towels on the sunbeds and return hours later to claim their prize spot. There doesn't seem to be adequate Life Guards in attendance and pretty much anything goes including running around, diving, bombing , back flips etc,. The pool is crazy busy but then again it is peak summer time so what do you expect. All kids entertainment by the pool and at night is in French obviously. The shop that sells banquets is very pricey but the Super U supermarket is less than a 10 minute walk. Best fun so far and highly recommended is a electronic boat trip for the day in Quinson. Cost me 140 euros but well worth it. Just bring a cool box and stop whenever you want. Have a swim in crystal clear water and carry on. So will I be coming back, probably not. It's still a good place but don't visit in July or August because it will be far too busy.

Dear isaandnick01, Thank you for your feedback which is very valuable to us as we are always looking for ways to improve our services. Despite the efforts of our teams, the deckchairs are sometimes the target of incivilities by some holidaymakers. We regret that this may have affected the quality of your stay. We will make sure to increase our vigilance. We hope to see you again. Lacs du Verdon Team

Wanted some food at the snackbar. The employes stod outside smoking, went inside and made the food without washing their hands. Therefore, we went to the restaurant where they served small plates. There we order takeout, and got very small potions. The food is selves was not what we expected, at all. The cesar salat was all green salat with two small tomato and three pieces of chicken. Can not recommend this restaurant at all. For the rest of our holiday we went outside the place to have dinner

This place has it all, from the trilling cicadas all of the day, perfect shade of the local pine trees ( camping is amongst the trees). Lovely pools, helpful and friendly staff, fantastic pools, bike hire, small local shop selling pretty everything you might need, from swimming goggles to swimming in local wine. Here is the rub, everything I have mentioned is accurate, the place and staff and facilities were and are amazing; the whole place however could do with a revamp, caravans are tired, some of the facilities are tired, restaurant (1) lovely staff, food nice, but basic. The locals know what is best for their business, for me however, one restaurant is not enough All that said, would I stay there again a resounding YES

Really lovely campsite. Superb slides for all ages, great fun. Lovely restaurant, a little expensive but that's to be expected at a campsite. The pool is good but not very deep. Always got 3 sun chairs but that was in June, I'd say competitive in July and August. The locals arrive on the weekend so it does get busy. Super places to visit daily, we were spoilt for choice, Aups is a beautiful village, lovely for walking around and plenty of restaurants. It has the biggest market we have ever seen each Saturday. The Gorges are a must, its like kayaking though Jurassic Park times, horse riding nearby as well. The roads up from Nice are quite steep at times so take care, but then you do get the fabulous views so it's worth it. For those with smaller kids the playground is superb. We had a teenager with us but the teenage camp wasn't open in June. We stayed across the road, the campsite is split into two, normally we would avoid this if we knew this in advance, however its less than a 4 min walk to the pool and restaurant and the mobiles are spaced further apart so actually it's great if you are based across the road. We split our 2 weeks between this campsite and Domain de Naides, reviewed as well, to experience mountains and beaches and it was a great mix.

Overall a very nice stay at this euro camp. I'll start with the positives. 1. Great location - very close to local supermarket, the caves, small scenic villages, frejus beach (1hr drive) 2. Accomadation - we stayed in a 3 bed cabin, comfy beds and good kitchen facilities. Pots and pans, plates and cutlery all included which was great. Very spacious for a family of 4. Decking was great, and a decent electric BBQ was provided. 3.Good size swimming pools (heated) 4.Very good play park Negative points 1. Pool area - bit annoying how you have to remove footwear when entering the pool as the floor feels abit grotty. If you don't get to the pool for 1000 you won't get a sunbed. 2. Reception - only manned twice a day for an hour each time. Bit annoying when you want to sign out tennis rackets etc. Also when we turned up no one was there, I had to get the other company who is located on the same site to ring the euro camp team. 3. Food bar/restuarent- closed at random times. No pizzas/burgers in the day, only in the evening. In the restaurant for some reason you could have chips to sit down and eat, but could be taken out? Also the kids burger, was pretty much a steak, which you had to put in a bun yourself??? Was a bit odd. 4. The shower we had was pretty useless. Took ages to get hot, water didn't drain away so was just stood in water over my feet which wasn't that nice. Overall a great camp site. And I would definitely recommend it.
