An old baroque monastery converted into a hotel, located next to a swimming lake and in a landscape of green hills. A good place to spend some peaceful days ! Be aware that the historical setting leads to a few drawbacks: The rooms are small and the furniture quite plain, the first room we got had worn out mattresses and...

I went there for my friends' wedding, and only stayed one night. A longer stay was unnecessary as the families and friends were mostly local, but it was so good an option that many other attendees coming from Graz, Vienna and abroad did use a fresh room after frantic drinking, eating and dancing. The ticket to Langsee, the lake close...

Nice accommodations with beautiful vistas. It's an old monastery that seems to be operating a retreat center. The food and service were good. It is off the main road, but very close to Hochosterwitz castle, which is amazing. It's a great place to stay and explore the area. In addition to the castle, it is worth visiting the Pilgrimmage Church...

While it is still very much a working monastery, it also serves as a very nice hotel and conference center. We have stayed here before and both times opted for the half-pension (Halb-Pension HP), which includes the...

My wife and I are always on the look-out for unique types of accommodation. When we read about this Cloister/ Hotel/ Restaurant we were intrigued to stay here ourselves. I can sum up our experience in simple terms. Fantastic setting: the cloister is slightly off the beaten track located on a hill-top overlooking the beautiful Carinthian countryside with Lake Langsee...

The hotel has a great location, surrounded with beautiful nature. Golf courses are close, and also the beautiful lake. Hotel itself used to be a monastery, so there is no luxury in rooms, but the rooms are very clean. The food in the hotel is very good for a buffet restaurant, and the restaurant has a beautiful terrace overlooking fruit...
