Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very well maintained, quiet and well managed. Staff smiling and helpful. Clean rooms, spacious enough. In the rooms fans are available in case it was too hot, there are no air conditioners but throughout the country I have not seen any, I suppose in a logic of preservation of the village. A good breakfast completes the picture. All in a village, Casperia, really pretty.

This is our third time at La Torretta - hosts Jennifer and Maureen welcomed us with open arms to their charming home. We stayed in the Suite which is well worth the small extra cost - it includes a private reading room with superb view and a wonderful en-suite bathroom. Days were spent exploring Casperia and the Sabine region with friends. La Torretta is so cozy with many books on architecture, unique furniture design and a lovely terrace overlooking the surrounding hills. Highly recommended to stay at least three nights to take it all in.

We just returned after 4 days from Casperia guests of Jennifer alla Torretta. The house is very elegant and really nice. The rooms are cozy and with a wonderful view of the hills. Jennifer is very kind and very attentive to the needs of her guests. His elegance and attention to the other, make the difference.
Breakfast delicious and rich in genuine products, is served upstairs, in the kitchen, living room, where the lovely terrace is located, with incredible views of the valley. The whole house is cared for in every detail and furnished with great taste: works of art and design objects, bookshelves full of ancient books and not, very interesting. Jennifer and her family really created a magical atmosphere, we felt like home. Many thanks to Jennifer and Casperia, a lovely country.

La Toretta Historical Home is a 15th-century palazzo that has lovingly and expertly been renovated by its architect owner and his family. Even some of the furniture has been created by the owner. While comfortably accommodating travelers with modern amenities, the reverence of the owners for the palazzo's history is integral to the feeling of the place. We were there with a hiking group for 3 nights, and we enjoyed the superb hospitality of the family and our hostesses, Jennifer and her mother Maureen, who were always ready with a smile and stories. From laying out a lovely breakfast buffet each day to making recommendations for hiking paths, restaurants or a special group dinner in a nearby palazzo, they welcomed us not only to their home but to their beloved Casperia. There is a terrace just adjacent to the dining area with a fantastic view of surrounding countryside and mountains, where breakfast, reading, conversation or napping can be enjoyed when weather permits. On leaving, our hostess organized the necessary transportation for us to transfer to Rome.

Casperia, in the Sabine Hills an hour north of Rome, is a beautiful and unspoiled hill town in a region that fully deserves to be discovered. La Torretta, in the heart of the old part of town, is a jewel - a bed & breakfast in a beautiful historical home completely redone by the architect owner so that it is both evocative and comfortable. The living room has a fireplace, and the large dining area has sweeping views over the valley behind Casperia and over to the higher hills. Jennifer and Maureen who run the B&B are wonderful, kind and generous hosts. The breakfasts are abundant and the whole place has an exceptional charm and sense of history. This was our third stay, but we will be back.

My wife and I were there four nights, and we loved it! This renovated 15th Century home has 21st Century plumbing, electricity and WiFi, and a welcoming staff. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet, and the view from our window was dramatic.
La Torretta is a family business, and the family made us feel at home immediately. They gave us a delicious breakfast and a cheerful "Buongiorno!" each morning, they shared ideas about places to go and things to do, and they helped to arrange delightful dinners at places in the town.
I would happily stay at La Torretta again.

What an amazing 3 days in beautiful Casperia, the views on the terrace for breakfast each morning were stunning! A family run B&B, where you are made to feel so welcome. They hosted a pasta making dinner which was great fun and delicious with local produce from the town.

The BnB is of unique beauty, in the center of the beautiful village of Casperia overlooking the Sabine Mountains whose view, from your room or from the common terrace, allow indescribable relaxation.
Inside it feels like going back in time, it is ideal if you want to have an experience in an uncrowded place to regenerate from the stress of the city.
The property is of great availability, both in communications and in the organization of the stay and Breakfasts.
In addition, the place is also strategic to visit nearby villages or towns.

This is the most beautiful little town in the Sabine Hills. La Torretta itself is an ancient house built into the side of a hill, with the most magnificent views.
La Torretta is filled with interesting antique furniture, with chairs in all shapes and sizes, designed and constructed by the owner's father.
The owner, Jennifer, was extremely welcoming and helpful. Thanks to her suggestions, we visited The Sanctuary of St Francis in Greccio, nearby. Inspiring! The breakfast on the terrace is not to be missed.
Would love to return. La Vigne Osteria down the road was the local restaurant, frequented by locals and visitors.
We stayed on our way from Rom Airport to Umbría.

I have stayed at La Torretta many times and recommend it to my friends. They have done cooking classes for my students and recommended and arranged many activities for my workshops. They could not be more helpful on so many levels. The town is small but has lots of nooks and crannies to explore. I brought 4 groups of photographers there over the years as well as painters. There is certainly a lot of material to work with. You will love it!
