Too often a place is called unique but this place really is. We didn't stay but came for the evening meal and joined the 6 other guests on the long wooden dining table. In a few minutes we felt we had known Toby & Mary and the other guests for years they made us so welcome. Food was excellent, fresh,...

Most fabulous place with excellent hosts, accommodation, food and sporting activity. A visit and memories to treasure - will certainly return. The lodge is wonderful with stunning views across the water to Rum. The food was outstanding and everyone wanted to take Snoop home.... Thank you to Toby, Mary and all on the island.

This is a really special place. A group of us stayed there for the weekend whilst on Muck for a weekends sport. Toby and Mary are great hosts. The accommodation is well planned and thought out. The food is excellent and mostly locally sourced. The bedrooms at the front have excellent views over to Rhum. Would love to go back...

5 stars does not do this very special place justice. The staff are friendly, the accommodation is second to non, the food is truly wonderful & the views to die for. If there is indeed a heaven; I would expect it to be exactly like Gallanach Lodge. Thank you!

It's utterly fantastic . From being collected of the ferry to being taken back it was fantastic ,personal attention in such a friendly informal way that makes it...

This place has to be the best, most fabulous place to stay in the whole world. Mary's food is amazing, Toby's hospitality is second to none. The beds are the comfiest you'll ever sleep in. If that's not enough, it's the best value for money you'll ever find. We've stayed with Mary and Toby about 15 times, both at Gallanach...

Beautiful location. Outstanding food using fresh local produce, from the island where possible. Tastefully decorated rooms with stunning views over to Rum. Mary and Toby are fabulous hosts and you are sure to meet interesting folk over dinner in the communal lounge. Can't wait to go back!

It's difficult to know where to begin! This is one of our favourite ever places to visit and we do so twice a year. It's just wonderful and really difficult to know how to even start to describe it. Toby and Mary are so welcoming and accommodating. We visit Muck for the fabulous scuba diving and surrounding scenery and we...

The evening meal provided on 20th October was absolutely outstanding. Probably the best roast lamb I have tasted, since I left New Zealand in 1963 ! Thanks to all involved in providing another memorable visit, to a hidden gem, off-shore Scotland.

I don't write a lot of reviews, only when I have had a very poor experience or if I have been incredibly impressed. It's the latter that I am now writing about. There are 9 of us in the GoP's Team and this is the 5th year we have visited the Isle of Muck. The last two years we have...
