Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was looking for a cheap place to relax and be by myself for a couple of days. Koh Dach is quiet and with rivers on both sides. It was quiet and met my needs, but its really a 2 Star Guest House. If that's what your needn't it will work, but if you spend USD$20 more you can get a much nicer place with a river view.

Deluxe Double room USD25 (walked in). Do not expect much when u decided to sleep on Koh Dach. Not many hotel here. This hotel is one of the best guesthouse here with affordable rate. Comfortable: Spacious room with hard mattress and very thin blanket Wifi: Can't believe it. Quite good. Food: Paid USD3 for vegetable fried rice. Tasteless and overpriced. Facilities: Water heater was not functioning, really really low water pressure Owner is so friendly and helpfull in giving us informations about the island. Note: - Bring your own foods if you stay longer. Not many restaurant and cleanliness is doubtful. Overall I really satisfied with this hotel and the Island.

It so called the silk island and you'll expect more silk around. Still you find lovely people willing to explain the life cycle of the silk in real life. Just a couple of factories are visitable and you might like to buy many beautiful silk products not for free actually. These are basically shops while some workers show how their looms function. Then a hose car takes you to a former resident house that used to belong yo an architect. And the journey ends in a pagoda where some monks still teach. Do not get impressed by waste every where... and enjoy the sight seen during the boat trip and in the island.

The room is simple but big and clean. The place is very quiet. We were there during the Water Festival so we saw the owner only once, briefly but he seems nice. We had breakfast in the morning which was ok. Maybe a bit pricey compare to other rural place we stayed in Cambodia.

We stayed two nights in this lovely and so peaceful villa and we loved It ! We booked a standard room but the owner didnt hesitate to give us the premium one as we were alone in the gusethouse (low season). The room was outstanding ... The owner is such a nice person, we had very interesting talks about Cambodia, he truly wanted to share with us how he feels about the country. Food was truly delicious for a fair price (try the ginger chicken !). We highly recommand villa koh dach to anyone who wants to discover the island in a peaceful atmosphere far from the stress and the pollution of the city.

We stayed here for two nights in August 2015 and we loved the villa as much as the island. The room was spacious, well decorated, clean and comfortable. On the shady terrace, we found a traditional Cambodian wooden bed and swing seats, and spent the afternoon there. We discovered the island by bike that we rented there. The villa is popular among French tourists because it is recommended in French guides like Le guide du routard, but Meng speaks English and teaches English to his kids. He was a good companion. And his wife Bo cooks very well. The price was higher than elsewhere in Cambodia but this was probably due to the fact that the island has just a few hotel accommodation to offer. Great place anyway.
